The gameplay is great ,you start from scratch and you slowly start to build the city of your dreams but the thing is sometimes specialization cost too much (ex 6 golden keys, which are hard to get, for a simple bridge ) which is really annoying, apart from that I think it's great, the time and effort are rewarding and I still can't believe this game isn't popular, there is basically every thing and not so long ago they added the possibility to fight against other cities which is really fun.
Overall enjoyable game, loved the fact you can play offline, but the game auto closes if you have an internet connection and even if I was connected to a Google play account, recovering my lost data was impossible. Edit: after taking contact with the support team and installing the brand new version, the online issue was fixed, so although I did not regain my old save, I still can enjoy the game like it is meant to be enjoyed, so I'm the end I advise you to try it out, it's worth it
The only thing I've been doing in the game for the last 10 days to get myself into a position where it might get interesting is selling wood. wood wood wood. I don't think I'm even close to where I got to be before the game starts forcing me to build things I don't really find interesting. The controls are fine, it's not like you need to button bash on. simple touch screen. The graphics are ok. Good details on the buildings, firefighters. which I could zoom more.
I loved the SimCity computer games, and this captures much of that charm. The visuals are fantastic, for instance. However, game play is slowed down by having to spend so much time "manufacturing" others to upgrade buildings. I feel like it's become more about managing my supply chain than managing my city. And screw microtransactions. I am happy to pay for a game, but I actually want to be able to play the game on level terms, but here I feel like I'm being asked to buy my way to success.
So far so good... I've rated this game 4/5 because there is always room for improvement and I don't want the praise to go to your heads...but so far so good.. Fix the add bug where one watches the add to hasten production or the re-planning of the building to alter the items required for an upgrade but doesn't get the reward for watching it.. it happens too often and is annoying.
This is a fun game, but I hate that once it's connected to Facebook you can never disconnect and restart. I have a level 27 city that I am going to lose soon when I return the device I've been playing on. This city is much more developed than my other, and I've saved almost 800 Sim cash. It's so frustrating that I can't pick which city I would rather have, or overwrite the one I no longer play. I've wasted so many hours to build a city, and spent 50 Sim cash to start my own club. Ridiculous.
Such an amazing game!! My entire family plays and it never gets old. It's an incredible time waster lol. We are all addicted, playing the com, doing the design challenges, upgrading storage and more. Love that ads are only available to win items. Literally the only game I have ever spent real money on and I don't even need to, it's just a matter of pride to be the best in my league 🤣 great game overall and highly recommend!
The Game was fun to start off but it has a lot of problems. It locks you in with some ADD's and the only way out is to restart the game. It also looses money - once was 100,000 Sims - then it stalls und needs a restart. The bigger the city gets, the more the game is lagging. I experienced up to 5 minutes after a video add. The fun stopps when it comes to this point. I rate the game a 5 Star at the start but only a 1 Star with a large city and regions.
I'm really enjoying the game. Three challenges to the game are: (1). Making products in a timely manner and using them to fill requests. (2). Getting expansion supplies for city land and warehouse. (3). Aways having to spend money for all kinds of things including advancements. Even with all those challenges, it's still a very enjoyable game.
Slight problem with the ads when watching to speed up production, it doesn't always work. I make sure I watch all the way through but it still doesn't finish the product. UPDATE: the glitch has not been fixed. I've watch 5 ads to finish the same product and it did nothing. Fix this problem please!
It's a love/hate kinda thing. Enjoy the challenges, the building of my town. Don't enjoy the amount of time it takes to earn keys, some products, or advancement ( I do not have that kinda time) Last you add some awesome buildings and landscapes then make them all but impossible unless a player pays lots of real money or lives on this game daily to achieve them.
The best game I have ever played in my life. Everything is thought perfectly great. Game procedure, making progress, graphic and logic of game is very good and realistic. But I want You to add some features; such as, like someone's city, add friendship in game itself (not social friends only), adding button for max price of goods and etc. If you would add these features, it will be great and I would be thankful to you and change my review from 3/5 to 5/5. Thank you in advance 🙂
It gets harder, but not more interesting. It gets harder and harder to build things because the requirements to build get increasingly complex. But the result of meeting those requirements doesnt really evolve. Would recommend this game for a few weeks...then, if youre like me, youll loose interest.
I think it's fun but if you are f2p it's not great, there are some things that are confusing and don't relate to city building but it's interesting. One thing I really dislike is not being able to mass edit the city. Edit: something is wrong with the app it refuses to go online and a good portion of the game is online, any fixes?
It's NOT the classic version. It IS challenging and enjoyable. Be prepared to put the game aside for several hours for manufacturing time if you're not wanting to spend real money (especially in the higher levels.) I've been playing this version for over two years and still find it entertaining. The higher level tasks can be frustrating during the Contest of Mayor's due to the increased item count to complete. A few changes made this more enjoyable at high levels.
One of extremely rare mobile games that still behaves like a game. I've played this game on/off for several years. I've just started all over again and I have noticed a lot of things. The game Devs are still putting out new content without it seeming insanely overwhelming when you start out. More importantly, there are NO forced ads. I've used some apps/games for many years were ad free/choice until a certain point where ads were getting forced upon users. This game gives you a choice.
It's a great game but starting to get frustrated with factories. After you start making something some times if you don't stay in the game for a few minutes and leave and come back later everything you made is gone just like you didn't make a thing and your factories are idle. Frustrating. The other thing is the war. After being attacked and bubbled very tiring after rebuild when it keeps coming back with things you don't have. The longest wait was 4 rebuilds in a row
The game is fun. But the farther you get, things get ridiculously expensive, whether its simoleons or cash or golden keys. The price of buildings is ridiculous when you get 1 key for completing an assignment. The cost of buildings is ridiculous with the tiny amount you make from taxes. If you want to spend money on the game, im sure its real fun.
It's a good game, very much pay to play thought which I don't do, so everything takes about 10/15x times longer. Lots of voluntary ads that help speed everything up. I understand EA is a business and needs to make money and that the games free, but I'd rather pay 'X' to buy the game and never have to continuously spend in the game. I feel its geared too much toward paying to win.
Nice game but could be better. Some things don't make sense. I put an elementary school and it can only "cover" two buildings. I have to reorganise and ruin the whole design of my town just to make sure every building will get some education, even if the buildings the school "cannot cover" are just 2 steps away. It doesnt make sense! You should change it, each school should cover the needs according to the quantity of people it fits, not the quantity of the buildings that surround it... bummer.
Fantastic game if you enjoy building, however they added a war challenge that is unnecessary for people who enjoy the building aspect. You are nor required to participate in the wars, but it makes the game longer to advance, Another downside is the "extra regions" getting money for them is difficult, but possible. Overall a decent game!
It's decent, but the game comes with mandatory tips. Normally if a tip pops up from the bottom screen, you can swipe down on it to ignore it, but some come with exclamation points that shake at you. If you try to swipe it away, it moves down an inch and pops back up (essentially forcing you to waste time listening to them, or let it block part of the screen until it expires). These "tip mandates" are a fail on EA's part.
Been enjoying this game for 8 months now. The best experience is when you're part of an active club and you have a feeder city to support the main city. Game play has a nice variety of activities through the week so there is always something to do. Though you do need time management skills because you will want to revisit the game throughout the day.
The Best Building game I have played in my life, totally works, I have learnt a lot. You can be a real life, building consultant just from playing this game. I now have over 100, 000 Sims living in my city and I can't wait to unlock more features. No ads, No app freeze, everything works great and I get to back up my progress on my email 📧 without stress. I only have a little request on the war items. Make them more available to avoid strains during war.
It's fun game, playing it for years. Level 99. Storage and factories are the issues. I found you can store about 5 of each item, but they ask for up to 20 to do a task. also 10 factories is max,but there are 11 items. It's like they didnt think it through. Market can be useful but I found if you go zero stock on an item, it will be harder to find. Also when you have to much of one item and you sell them. Guess what they ask for them and you can't get them back.
This game deserves more stars, because it's really an excellent rework of the PC game into Android. But I'm not giving them, because luck>skill in almost every aspect of the game. AND (very big and) the RNG is badly designed, if designed at all. Mayor's Contest? Good luck getting assignments you can complete in the available time. War? Good luck getting materials you need. Shopping? Forget it. Joining a club helps. I've stopped buying Mayor's Pass, and may just stop playing even free.
