Cheapest delivery fees, at times some good deals but incomparable to Uber. The bad: delivery instructions aren't saved. Terrible customer service. Also, several bad restaurants associated with Skip. Difficult for agents to acknowledge and resolve all of my issues. They seem to either give or intend to give off an impression of a limited capacity of comprehension. At times just ending the chats. They push for credits instead of reimbursing. Used up my credits and points, deleted the app.

Ordering is fast and almost too easy! Only thing I would change is making the pickup time confirmation bigger or slightly more intrusive or something. Or maybe only for a tutorial mode? I had meant to pick up my order later and thought I had everything right, but when I was on my way, they called me to let me know my order had been ready for a while. So maybe a setting I can change to double confirm pickup times? Anyway, thanks! Great app though!

When the service is great from the restaurants we are very happy. We had one of our favorite restaurants that started to give us food and service that wasn't good so we stopped ordering from there, otherwise we have had mostly good experiences! I cant always cook so we use skip a lot and it's a lifesaver for us. Most of our experiences have been really good, the couriers are excellent for the most part. The app itself doesn't always work right (glitchy) so that can be frustrating.

The app itself is well put together. Easy to use, the service is great however, it is the only app on my phone that does not always notify me when its supposed to. Ive deleted and redownloaded multiple times and the issue persists. Ill get the notification only after i open the app again to check on my order. Most of the time the food has been sitting there for 10min or more. I add a request to use the doorbell because of this but the majority of your drivers in my area completely ignore it.

The app itself is very good. The vendors.... some good, some poor. All vendors price higher thru app than actual menu. Some vendors who make mistakes (missing/wrong items) aren't willing to correct the mistakes, and so it is very important that customers rate these vendors accordingly - if the vendor doesn't have a 8+ stars, there is a very good reason for it, use caution. Skip doesn't take measures to protect customers from bad vendors.

Not so much the app but the service in general. They should allow us to tip only after delivery is made. Tonight I watched the driver go 20 mins the wrong way. Cancelled delivery and picked it up myself in 10 mins. I ordered so I wouldn't have to go out and did anyways. More times then not, it's a driver issue that causes delays

BAIT AND SWITCH - Often times, the app displays a certain time for delivery. Just after delivery, it tacks on more time with the message "Heads Up! We've got a lot on our plate". It's difficult to plan a meal using the times displayed by the app, especially compared to rival services which are far more reliable!

App wise, very user friendly and easy to process an order. Support is dependent on the agent answering the phone. If you have multiple orders that come in missing items good luck getting a refund for the missing items. Driver wise... It's going totally downhill, in order for the driver to make any $ they've started taking multiple orders at the same time, resulting in cold meals for all. Some days I wish we had the ability to lower the tip.

Local restaurants are few and far between, there are mostly fast food and chain restaurants to choose from. The few local restaurants available seem to have problems with the Skip ETA and seem to always take longer to prepare the meals than what was expected. When that happens, skip offers a fraction of the total payment as a credit, so you can wait longer the next time you order. Cancelling my Skip now after continuing problems, try Doordash instead

I hate this app. That's all there is to it. This service is an absolute waste of time. Uber is no perfect business either but at least they try. Can't even get in contact with customer service when needed. Cant add a tip after checkout if you feel your courier deserved more or you mis-enter an amount. Even customer service won't help you tip more

Whenever a delivery goes wrong, it's impossible to correct it. Only because it is literally impossible to contact customer support. They have options to contact customer service representatives through their app, but I have yet to ever get a response from them, even during normal work hours. They don't have a hotline either so you're forced to either use their unresponsive messaging service or email them. It's unheard of for a food delivery service this popular to not have a hotline.

Its a great app, still could use some work. The GPS function doesn't always update accurately, nor do the time estimates. However, its easy to use, and doesn't steer me wrong with recommendations. Add in an allergy filter, and it would be a class leading app.

Its ok unless you have an issue with your order where theyll simply credit you for whats missing for next time you order. Your food will be cold by the time you submit the complaint too. Fees could also be cheaper for occasional users. Too big a gap between occasional users and regular. Marketing dep. dropped the ball on that one. All in all, its ok.

UberEats is definitely more reliable. Food is on time, app and map is up to date, good communication. SkiptheDishes has an old interface, map is inaccurate, driver seemed to be lost and the customer service chat person kept copying and pasting the same words to me with no help. Notifications from app were delayed. Order was said to be 1 minute away for 40 minutes even when the driver was at least 20 minutes away and lost. Order was then said to be delivered but was not delivered. Terrible app

Insane to me that it's 2022 and you still have to tip before delivery, plus the app is buggy and sometimes deletes the tip and changes addresses! Even if you contact support, they're unable to help you. They also don't include any special dietary information or descriptions of the food, so be prepared to cross reference against the restaurants' website.

App is user friendly. Can't find much offers. I prefer Skip because they don't charge convenience fee, platform fee or any non-sense. You just pay for your food, tax and delivery. Maybe that's why skip drivers are also making less comparatively. As a customer I'm happy.

Great app very convenient tracker is accurate. Some areas are unavailable but they are constantly adding more delivery areas so if they dont deliver to your area its likely they will in the future.(edit) I have had a few problems with couriers not delivering or damaging items but the support is excellent and is quick of offer refunds and replace items.

Absolutely the worst. First time I didn't even get my food. Called up the help line to ask where my food was, they canceled my order and then reordered it. It took more than 2hrs to get it. The second time I used skip, it took more than an hour to get my food. I saw the delivery car take the most round about way to get to the restaurant to pick upy order, and then take 20min to drive to my place, when it should've been a 6min drive. Absolutely the worst

The courieres on this app have gotten terrible. On top of sitting there for anywhere from 20-40 mins without moving or driving around the city, the food is always cold on delivery and the costumer service will do the absolute bare minimum to help, usually only offering a half refund regardless of how severe the issue with the food is. Can't say I'll be using this app again for a long time.

The app is easy to use, it has great features and it always has a good amount of restaurants that are offering deals, more than its competitors. However the biggest draw back is the app not updating when the driver has the food. It will say they are on the way and not give any further updates. Then all of sudden it will go from being 15 minutes away to it being delivered.

I have had several times orders were wrong, missing food, cold, etc. Have seen times where a simple, fast food order can take over an hour for it to arrive, and yes the food was cold by the time it got to me. Refunds are a pain to get and the issues I have been having seem to be getting more frequent as time goes on.

Lots of options for restaurants and easier to search in then Doordash BUT customer service is nonexistent and I'm out $100+ now from missing items, app malfunction and getting duplicate orders, no refund or credit for inedible food. Update: Drivers are horrible, many do other pick ups and deliveries while they are supposed to be on the way with the order. Support isn't helpful. Tonight had a driver just not drive to the restaurant until AFTER it was supposed to arrive to my home.

They've removed my reviews twice. TERRIBLE PLATFORM, can't even take a bad review. In all fairness app is easy to use/well designed, but after order is placed, professionalism is gone. Drivers who simply don't care, don't even follow actual delivery instructions that you include, picking up multiple orders at once, hence having cold food, late delivery times. Honestly carelessness. Tip option needs to be after orders are recieved for this reason. More to say, but I'm out of room.

Usually fast service, but the last few times it has been much longer, like a half hour. I only live a 5 minute drive from where we usually order.i do not drive so we use this service. Last 2 times items were missing from order. Not major items but when you pay for them you like to receive them. Also, is an order filled as soon as they receive it, or when driver picks up? That would explain why usually cold if it has to wait for a driver. Becoming discouraged with this service.

Well I've been using skip the dishes for a few years on and off almost daily. Unfortunately, customer support has declined over the years. Instead of canceling an order that more than doubled in eta skip support (deepanka) lost my business and cancelled without a refund. I hear door dash is pretty good!
