Sleep Pillow: Sleep Sounds

A really nice app, with a simple, elegant and efficient layout. Sounds are of good quality, though some loops are too short not to detect a pattern and some are not really seamless: the kind of things you can't unhear. But with more than 250 sounds, you'll surely find a few ones you like. There are categories to help you make your choice though there is one that's totally useless: the "Varied" category only duplicates sounds of other categories. Would be nice to get rid of it :)

This app is amazing they are are no adds unlike other apps I've tried, they have SOOOOO many sound options, you can create multiple mixes of sounds you like if you can't choose one, you can set an alarm using one of the sounds, and you can set a timer for when the sound will stop. This app has really helped me sleep a lot better. I can now sleep peacefully and drift into a dream land. I love this app so much and it can help you sleep a lot faster, and better than any other sound app I've tried.

Still 5 stars (1-2-2022)! This is one of the first apps that gets downloaded on a new phone. A great collection of sounds. I use one of the beta binaural beats to sleep every night. The ability to combined sounds is great - and you can save the combos! I have downloaded the extra sounds and I think that is also worth it. The time and alarm functions are nice. And the most import thing is all the sounds I've used have been a seamless loop. You wont get that jolt of the loop starting again! Loveit

Fantastic app (especially for free) when it works. Every night, I go to play the app and the sounds aren't consistent. They keep stopping and starting or just play with no volume at all. Very annoying but after 3 years, it's the only thing that helps block out my partners sleep apnea! Fix it please; I'd pay for the app

Great app! You can customize your white noise with up to three different sounds, you can mark your favorites for quick access, set a timer for how long you want the white noise to last, there are no audio ads to interrupt. The unpaid version has a decent number of white noise choices. It is worth the $1.99 for the full collection of white noise. If you don't want to spend the money I recommend downloading Google Rewards and answer the surveys when they are offered.

I purchased the full version. This is a very good sound app with lots of sound choices. It is good that I can get to mix and match sounds I like and adjust individual sound volume I preferred and saved it. However, I found that this app drains my battery a lot faster than other sound apps, and the sound running in the background was shut off if other videos were being played by other apps at the same time. Otherwise it will be perfect.

I was having trouble falling asleep. I tried a different white noise app, but there were too many hoops to jump through for someone who was tired. This one was easy. I have my favorite sounds set. I changed the timer from 5 to 10 minutes for the nights my brain doesn't want to shut down, and I am always asleep now before the sounds fade away.

An incomplete white noise app without a well thought-out grouping of sounds. From top to bottom: the timer allows no more than 1hr 15mins(?); Favourite menu is easily accessible; Sounds are grouped but not sorted within the group (e.g. all Water is grouped, but Diving, Underwater, Ocean are not together in group; Some sounds are very abrupt and not volume balanced with the rest; Various melodies are included but UX not well thought-out (e.g. 3 basic piano melodies but the one with the actual pictured piano sounds the most synthesized); Horse sound was galloping and sounded as if I was going to be trampled rather than soothed. Overall, the app works and is easy to use, but I would find another app which has better execution.

Saved my vacation! I'm used to AC and two fans at home. Assumed AC would be enough at hotel, but it was very intermittent. Download this app, and the excellent fan sound -- I used the one with the picture of the classic rotating fan -- was perfect. I really love the photo interface, which is so much easier to use than generic fan1, fan2, etc. Very nice app!

Brilliant app. I have struggled with sleep for years and this relaxes me and helps me off to sleep. I usually have the timer on for 30 mins and I am asleep before it stops. I paid for the extra sounds, it wasnt much money and gives more variety. Worth going thru and giving hearts to your favourites as there are so many it can be hard to find them again. Even more nature sounds please!

Great app! The only reason why I am giving it 4 instead of 5 star is the fact that when you choose your favorite sound and trying to sleep with it, the sound just stops and move to a different sound after some time. It should be able to play the same sound which I would set for as long as I need it, isnt it??? Lol, so 4 star for now. If this issue gets fixed, I might update it to 5 star.

No set up required, download and choose a venue based on picture set level and duration. Ii watching nature videos and noticed the affect the back ground sounds had on me after a stressful day. I wanted to duplicate it without watching. This app exceeded my expectations. I haven't noticed any adds but if in purchase shows up I will most likely sign up. Forgive the spelling but I'm relaxing to it now without my glasses.

Best sleep sound app I've found so far... So many others turn themselves off in the middle of the night and wake me up.. I've never had that problem with this one The only downside to this app is that any other sound on your phone will shut the sound off... it would be very nice if the sound would remain persistent until you manually shut it off through the app Other than that this would be a five-star app for sure

I have found several noise options I can easily fall asleep to in the free section. It has stayed on all night, which is what I mostly need it for because I am a "night owl". The "spring chickens" and our dogs are frequently a little too noisy in the morning and this, plus my door closed, hides their morning noises. I have water sounds on at the highest volume and my daughter hears it in the hallway. It's been a perfect fit for me. Thank you developers!

Good selection. Was looking for a white noise generator for meditation. Like one of the water sounds better. Found at least 5 sounds I can use from free selection for background for writing etc. and am intending to buy the expanded options at $4.00 which will also let me set a sound to play past 15 minutes. (Prefer to use Google prepaid card not credit card so have to pick one up). Also nice interface. Have used twice and actually look forward to using it. Thank you.

I have the full paid version with all of the sounds and it is the best money I have ever spent. I suffer from PTSD and depending on what is going on in my head at the time there is always a sound, or combination of sounds that helps me sleep or relax. I even use it for my dogs when we travel to calm them down in hotels and let them sleep calmly without worrying about loud people in the hallway! Fantastic app, great selection, easy to use. 100% worth the purchase of all the sounds.

Solid free sleep app Biggest complaint is the sound has to be restarted every time I get a notification/call, or interrupted by another app... I've read other complaints about the timer, but I let it run all night, so no complaint here... PROs - the free sounds are good quality, not too quick of a loop, and there is plenty of variety, which really helps to personalize. Will up rate to 5 when I can prioritize this app through permissions/settings

Would be great if it didn't take so long to launch the app and it wouldn't shut of on it's own every night. About twice a night I wake up and have to restart it. But the most annoying part is that sometimes I have to wait a minute or more for the app to launch. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and didn't help. About ready to find something else.

Phenomenal app! Works and is a one time payment for extras. Too many apps going to subscription... It's just greed. Only minor complaint from me is I wish it had more thunder sounds. But that's my personal preference. If you're looking for a sleep sounds app you should get this one. My search has ended!

Pretty good app, and had a lot of different options for a variety of sleep aid preferences. However, I found it to easy to identify the sound loops in the rain, wind, fire and nature and therefore ineffective for ME. If that's not a thing that would bother you, then I would definitely recommend it.

Great range of options. Unfortunately all are run at a great speed, which elevates the brain and heart rate. Many also run in the same rhythm, so mixed sounds overlap all the time, instead of randomly coinciding occasionally. Not what I need at all, I am afraid! :(

This is a 5-star App on iOS. But, on Android it doesn't work when Do Not Disturb is turned on. Either that's a major oversight or a big Android deficiency. I'd like to go to sleep with the pleasant sounds and mixes this app superbly delivers. But, not at the expense of all night blings from emails and other notifications.

Great white noise machine. I use it with headphones while working to block out a loud and inconsiderate neighbor who plays an electric guitar and yells at random times of the day. The rating is only 4 stars because it could be easier to turn the app off and on and to switch between modes.

The sound quality is good, but the clips and playback aren't, plus the timer only allows 1hr. This is the second rain/white noise app I have tried since the first had very low quality audio. I thought this was great at first, but then I noticed every clip has weird noises in them and each clip is only 10-15s long then loops - the airplane sound drops in tone then restarts, the fan has a strange bass noise near the end, and the waterfall has a noise that sounds like mouse-clicks.

I like the white noise and how it automatically shuts off for alarms and incoming calls (unless you have do not disturb activated). The reason I am only giving it 2 stars is because it will randomly stop thereby causing me to wake up. Sometimes multiple times a night.

I paid for this app and I am so unhappy!! Sounds suddenly stopped working after I had been using them to fall asleep for a long time. Support asked two questions then gave up and have ignored the rest of my messages asking for help now that I rely on the sounds to fall asleep. I installed a FREE app (Atmosphere) that is working great, better than this app ever did!

I really like this app. It helps when my neighbors are being loud and annoying. I use it with my foam ear plugs. I turn my phone volume up as high as possible and play the rain water sounds until I doze off. My only suggestion is that the timer should last longer than 1 hour 15 min.
