It does not seem to play frames. I expected a frame advance button. No such luck. It does slow down the playback. I got to 0.12 second. But its hard to stop and look. Timing is only given to one second resolution. Annoyingly it does not retain settings very well and always starts off at full speed. But much better than standard Android app. Could be great if these things are fixed.
I use this app to watch certain private videos I make in graphic detail. It works flawlessly. Its not all full of garbage ads or anything either. It's also a pretty awesome feature that it loads all videos anywhere on the phone without getting images mixed in. I don't have to search all over for whatever video strikes my fancy. Great app! And what's more, its worked flawlessly for well over a year!
Just downloaded it so I can slow down videos of guitarists from YouTube videos so I can see where they're putting their fingers. Makes it easier to learn songs. Tip for the developers, if you could keep the sound at its normal pitch while slowing the video down, you would have an amazing app, which I'm sure budding guitarists like myself would download in their thousands. PS.. If you manage to do this, cut me in on your millions, I only want a little boat to live on... Lol 😁 ✌️
Worked hella good as long as you don't care WHICH frame it grabs. Because it's never the same one you chose, always a few seconds behind or ahead. Also, if you pick several frames within a few seconds of each other, you'll get a stack of the same exact frames instead. Kinda the point of a slow motion frame grabber, but whatever. Maybe they just forgot to put "random" in the name. Like "Random slow motion frame grabber".
The app starts prompting you for a rating about 30 seconds after you install it, which is annoying. Otherwise, seems to be a good slomo viewer. Simple, easy to use. Ads all seem to include "install" buttons which are easy to hit accidentally. Also annoying.
Exactly what I wanted! Play my video clips in slow motion - I'm able to control how slow, and with sound too, wow! What a good app!! This app would be even better than it already is if there could be easily rewinding, like scroll your finger to the left to scrub back a few seconds.
Works well. I only wish it would display the time elapsed constantly via a toggle on/off button. At least that way you could count the number of times the progress indicator jumps to get 1/8 second resolution. It is irritating that it doesn't stay on when you want it to. Other than that, this is a great intuitive very functional.app.
This app is very useful to me as a dance student. We can film each lessons pattern and I can slow it way down to catch details. It can very entertaining also. When I slow the video down, the Instructor sounds like they are talking to you from the bottom of a well!😄
Does what I need without compromising video quality. Nothing fancy or extra but is a valuable tool for what I need. I'm using it to slow down a press transfer so I can see to change the timing of the motion. Saved me thousands by not crashing and allowing me to make the right move!
I love this app so far, simple and does exactly what I am looking for that my stock video player won't do. I only wish it had options to save the videos in slow motion playback rather than just watch. I'd definitely pay a small price for a version that would do that. Please think about it :)
A one trick pony. It allows you to play videos slower than other apps, but it only plays them once, then it switches back to the video list. No looping ability, no trimming, no gif, no muting sound, and the thumbnails of the listed videos are cut off so it's impossible to discern which video is which by the thumbnail alone.
Great app! Minimal ads, easy to use. I haven't found an app which makes it easier to play videos more slowly or quickly. Other apps require more actions to get the same result or have intrusive ads. The developer is also active in solving issues when they arise.
Does as expected. Would have loved if it allows (I) abilty to clip the video (2) abilty to share,either full video in slow motion or clips in slow motion. (3) adding an ml model to identify humans and body pose) With these features i would loved to pay or the app could have monitized it self by advertisement before letting the user to use these features.
forward and reverse controls? Can the video be stopped backwards and forward with some control. Now you have use your finger on the timeline. it's not perfect for getting to a frame behind or in front of your current position.
Hello Good Day !!!!!!!!!! This app is good but it's lack of features like frame movements button ! I hope there's a Frame button so I can slowly play the video using everytoch !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And another thing is incompatible with Android 7 ! Please update this!
Great app for reviewing your movements, exercising your sport or activity. I'd love to be able to pause the video and go back and forth frame by frame manually, without the disturbing play button in the middle of the picture.
Shows the video file details in a list but no actual video and no way to actually play anything. Video format is MP4. Very little info available like a user guide or problem solving, nice idea but... Updated. With the list of video files displayed I can tap the name and a long press selects the file for either sharing or deletion with file name background changing from white to grey. A short press just changes the white background to grey while your finger is in contact and back to white.
I compared this to other video players, and the slow-mo feature is really useful if you're someone who makes videos! I think this one plays at the highest quality as well in which I think I also assume that it has some anti-aliasing involved! Well done making this app!
The app is quite good. If you were able to scrub through the frames, frame by frame I would give it a 5 star. The ability to slow the video and pause it is quite good though. Overall a good app and worth the download. Thanks ProFrameApps.
Frames are not smooth, thus output video is lagging. I assume it depends upon video quality or camera lens rather than phone software. I have slo-mo by default was just in search for enhanced version of slow-mo. Anyway 3 star 🌟 for efforts. (Android 8.1 honor play user.)
I got this to watch a video to show all of the airports available on X-Plane 11, it was showing like 40 frames per second. But now I could watch it without interruption. Great app, highly recommend 👍
The app does what it's supposed to effectively and with a simplistic easy to use design. Would be nice to have the option to repeat videos on a loop so you don't have to reselect the video each time.
This app is very good for operating, but it doesn't make a video separately. you can definitely download this app only for watching slow motion videos. but keep in mind, it doesn't make a video separately.thank you...
Cannot play frame by frame, only at 0.13x speed. Cannot save frames. No options. Doesn't do anything, just plays the video worse than the default player. No move forward by 1/10/100 frames, no fine adjustments to play speed.. Just use whatever came with your device instead.
Great app! Does exactly what it says it does with one of the best UIs I've ever used. THIS IS A VIDEO PLAYER NOT EDITOR. All of the negative reviews are just people not understanding the difference. You CANNOT SAVE THE SLOWED VIDEOS
I love this app! It does exactly what I am trying to do: slow down videos so I can watch/hear then at any speed. There are a few inconveniences, though. - I can't scroll to an exact frame. I have to play it to get to the perfect frame. - When choosing a video, it doesn't sort by folders. It just shows you all your videos (it's hard to find things)
