Smart iRemote

Good application, but I have noticed that something wrong happens with my ONEPlUS device as soon as I have started to work with this remote. 1) It is really power consuming application. 2% of two days cell work power, when the screen takes up to 17%  2) The second issue is required an investigation. The deal is that as soon as I have started to use the application, Keep awake process of the Android System started to consume energy  too and apps stop did not help. Reboot with delay helped.

This app does everything that I need it to do. The app found my streaming device so fast that I thought that I was looking at a screen shot of a tutorial. The big thing for me is the mouse control; so fast and intuitive. There is no need to switch to another remote for apps like Netflix or Kodi! Props to the developers for doing such a great job.

Great App WHEN IT WORKS... which is not often. Most times, upon launching, it just launches into egg timer type action with message, "Searching for Server" When search finishes within 3 to 4 seconds, it just stops. Game over. They need to fix so once Wifi connected, it promptly permits use of the remote. It has worked intermittently and when it does it is terrific...hence I gave it 2 stars. However, it rarely works beyond launching into what may as well be an endless loop. Sigh.

A wonderful app. Works perfectly with my MK808B+. For those who say it doesn't work, make sure that remote control is enabled in the Android settings. And I have the same question as above. What is the "ball" control that toggles between the mouse and drag controls. It doesn't seem to do anything, and I'm at a loss on what it's supposed to do. Any documentation I have found for this app, doesn't mention it.

Does everything you need it to do. Keyboard is sometimes a bit iffy but other than that fantastic. If you're struggling to get it to connect to device, do the search (1st icon) then close the app fully then reopen and the ip will show up and just tap that

This app is the best thing.. Connects to my android TV box and I can use my smartphone as mouse and keyboard.. Now it should have 1 page where there is both mouse and direction keys.. For now, it has these things on separate pages, so I have to toggle pages for doing simple tasks.. If developer can incorporate this feature, it will be perfect app.. Thanks for making this app..

This remote is the best I have found. It runs my Android box & kodi. No switching between apps. All it requires was my IP address and port. No additional install to my box or Kodi (apps) and no attachment for the phone. The keyboard works great and so does the mouse. Plus it's free. For those negative reviewers, it didn't auto pick up my connection either, but do it manually and when it says type in something, it's asking for the IP address and then your port (can be viewed in kodi or google how to find them if you don't know)

But, why must I have to manually add in my IP Address into this App every time I start it? For some reason this App just can not seem to find the IRServer.apk that's sitting _active_ on my MXIII. But its failing to connect. Otherwise its working fine when set manually... PLEASE FIX!! Until then its only Two Stars for the novelty of it. About the only useful part of the App is the Keyboard which seems to use the US Layout 😬

Tried a few different remote apps for my Chinese made Android TV/Kodi box. None were able to find the box. But this one did immediately. And the mouse/trackpad functionality works great for those overlays that aren't accessable via the dpad.

Where Android TV Remote fails to find the MXIII box, this one does. A little glitchy, but it does work. One drawback is battery drain. If I leave the app active, it kills my battery in minutes.

If you have an Android Box & hate that crappy remote that came with it, then look no further! After trying many many & I mean many other remote apps that never worked I finally came across the one that does, right here. This remote app allows you to search with a keyboard layout, move the cursor with a mouse layout & control movies with a play/pause, stop, rev & fwd button layout. So far best Android Box remote app I've finally found after many others were a huge disappointment!

Works great on my matricom g box q. Just a few problems. The forward slash and a few other keys don't work on the keyboard for me. Still worth 5 stars because I couldn't get any other app like this to work.

It worked directly. I can controll my Android box Minix U1 perfectly. None of the other remote apps worked for me, not even Googles official. Only thing missing is a button for seeing all apps runing and switching between them.

This apps was exactly what i needed tp get my android MBOX up and running perfectly, it crashes sometimes but can't complain as every apps crashes at times but if ppssible, i would give it a ten star ratings.. Thanks very much..

Perfect remote for use over WiFi to control some of these off brand android KODI TV boxes. Unlike others I've tried this one found my device instantly and was controlling box in less than 30 seconds. No special requirements. WiFi permission and that's it. Couldn't be happier! No need to purchase any of those Bluetooth wireless touch pads. This does it all for free. My cell is now my KODI remote. Thank you!!!!!!

Works great . Battery drain is kinda discouraging though. Ball feature - guessing air-mouse like - does nothing. Landscape would be great. Keep it up guys - it's really the only app I have tried and worked out of the box - after enabling the ”remote" on the box.

This app makes me very happy every time I use it. Now I have total control over my android box.

This app works a treat without any set up issues. Looked around for an app and this was the only one I could get to work. I have a Android TV box (not main stream) and the app found it straight away on wireless. Box is connected using Ethernet and this little app just used the wireless connection. One issue however is to do with the pop up keyboard., not all the characters seem to work. Am I doing something wrong or is there a reset. Everything else, mouse etc works great.

Works well up until a point... often crashes but can't moan about it too much. Would get 5 stars if a little more stable

the app connects to my OTT MS8 no problem.the remote arrow buttons work fine on the main screen but as soon as you go into an app they don't work anymore.trying to navigate a movie app seems impossible as the mouse function works but if I try to scroll down with the touch function it goes straight back to home screen..I have the app on 3 different devices to controll my TV box and it does the same with all devices just returns to the home screen.is there a way to stop this..or am I doing something wrong..if you could navigate and app with the arrows or touch option it would be a great app

I did rate but it's gone so down one star for the delete. I like the app but my tablet gets VERY hot while it is running.

Works ok but i cannot see where i tap on screen. Have to do it blindly. CAN'T drag or do finger commands. Not smart and not for android os. Tap drag click n drag rotate are non functional

Worked for my off brand android box when all the other "android tv" remote apps didn't. It didn't find my device but I typed in the ip and immediately it worked. Thanks.

Can't believe how easy it is to set up! Literally took me ten seconds to figure out, after a thorough test I can confirm it works perfectly. No more hunting down the back of the sofas for the remote for me :)

Downloaded this app as the remote for my Android box just died. It was a LIFE SAVER! Does virtually everything the remote did except turn off the Android box. This is being used on the MXQPRO Android Box.

Just searches for server for a few seconds and gives up lucky it got one star. Sorry if I'm missing something

I have the mx 3 google TV set up. This app works perfect. I just wish the app makers would specify to customers what system their app is catering too, instead of us playing guessing games..

It's usually ok except it crashes a bunch. Underscore on the keyboard doesn't work. Still haven't figured out what the ball setting on the touchpad screen. Touchpad is only working on 1/3 of the screen now for some reason. Used to be fine
