Smart Protractor

Great App, does exactly what it says without clutter. 3 modes each useful for variety of tasks, drawing and measurement based. Interesting use of your phones camera to impose protractor image over. Haven't really tested this mode much, but was pleased to discover this ability and can see numerous situations where this could be useful practically.

As a woodworker, I might use this and it seems OK, but could do with markings for commonly used angles like 45, 15, 30, 60 or these numbers highlighted. Also when using the touch setting there should be an option that will snap it to those angles because it's just too fiddly to hone in to the exact angle. If it had those features then it could be genuinely useful, otherwise it's just a novelty.

Awesome app! I just wish you could tap on the angle and manually put in the degree and then match the desired angle to that number. Unless I'm missing it and it has that option (which is entirely possible) other than that it's exactly what i need. Thanks for the great app 👍

Needed to get the pitch of existing roof in order to add additions, app worked well.

Tricky to read when screen does not auto rotate. Great tool if, you can contort your head n body around.

Important to have a decent spirit level to calibrate. Thereafter, excellent though a bit fiddly to avoid touching screen with bevel edged phone.

I found out early on that the actual protractor part that's supposed to line up is a level that I tried to calibrate but I couldn't even manage to do, just get a real protractor.

Works great.. And very accurate . I use it for any leveling, or precise welding projects. Will be using it for checking my satellite dish fine tuning.

This used to be ok with small ads near bottom of screen... after update a full screen ad pops up as soon as I open app and I still have yhe banner ads near bottom... deleted

I wish you could make a floating widget option so we can also measure virtual things specially now were having online classes and everything is virtual. Or at least we can able to change the background with pictures to be able to measure other things on our screen.

Handy/Dandy App. Used it to calculate dipsy diver fishing lure depth, (along with some trig), while trolling for King Salmon. Worked great ! We caught fish that were shown on the graph at specific depths. Hoorah ! ;)

Not aesthetically pleasing watching the protractor go upside down, maybe if app would rotate with screen rotation to see protractor work with gravity as it does in planet Earth.

I can't find my angle cube and I just ran across this app. Appears to work great! I will try it out on the table saw tomorrow. Six stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ if it accurately nails 30°

This is a great little aid for checking angles, especially useful for getting your circular saw blades set up correctly.

Good app, but there's no way to have the center of the angle in the center of the screen. Needed this to make lines with exact angles

Looks great. I can't use it as I want to orent it on the other side of my phone due to the volume buttons.

Good app..need improvement at thick of border for the angle especialy, and for first time there must be simulation for uaing app without see a video

had to remove it. it was chewing trough my cellular data, even after I refused permission. it was using more data than the Facebook app!

I had a feeling the "update" increased ads. I saw reviews and I was right. I took the update just to see, and deleted the app. 👋 Goodbye. Being greedy gets you nothing.

Used to be ok. Now blaring, in your face annoying ads before you can use. Avoid, deleted now.

Ad bar covers the protractor, making it useless. Why can't I just have a pay option with no ad?

Needed this app to measure an angle that my father and I had to drill through a wall at today. Worked perfectly! My dad was very impressed.

I don't remember this having ads. I guess the update changed that. Guess I'll be deleting

To hard, had to delete the app from confusion but the app is good if you know how to control it.

I think this is just an inclinometer. I was hoping to measure angles in photos.
