Snapchat

Extremely buggy. When I try to record video, it will record for maybe a half second. I have to restart my phone to make it work. This is 99% of the time. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I've cleared the cache, I've cleared data. It still does it. Constant issues with the compatability with an S22.

Video cuts off after a few seconds. So if someone sends you a video containing 4 snaps, you'll only see a few seconds of the video. It'll stop, but the ticker will keep moving. If you tap screen it'll CONTINUE the video you were watching instead of going to the next one, cuts time off the rest of your snaps so you end up not being able to see the entirety of what you were sent. If all that makes sense. Waiting for a fix. Hate missing out on videos of my Godson.

App is quite confusing. I expected it to be much more user friendly & to be easily navigated through. I can never seem to get to the option I want to. There is no real option to get help or assistance. Once I get to another screen it never lets me go back. I don't like the constant change of filters many being unattractive especially when I've seen great ones. When I opened my account I was unaware I could never change my username. I couldn't think of what I wanted at the moment.

Honestly, I love snap in general. The new updates are confusing but I can figure them out eventually and it's not that hard. My problem is the amount of times it glitches and freezes, etc. And I know this isn't just a problem with me, a bunch of my friends deal with the same thing regardless of the device it's on. I have to completely uninstall and reinstall the app for it to be better. Also, I HATE the fact that androids have wayy less options than iOS (dark mode, pins, etc). FIX IT SNAP!!

For the past week I have not been able to record snaps, it stops as soon as I hold the button down. I also cannot send audio clips. For about two days I was unable to send bitmojis as well. I've tried to report the problem within the app but have not gotten any response back or even acknowledgement the report was received. I've tried turning my phone off and back on and even uninstalling and reinstalling the app, without luck.

This app has really evolved over the years and still kept its base purpose. This is my go-to social app with friends. It's very convenient to share pictures. Some complaints: I don't like the new feature to drag text down to delete the whole thing. I often delete mine unintentionally while positioning it. I think this needs to be reworked but has a good intention. Dark mode has now been a standard for years yet it is not available for this app. I don't understand what's taking so long.

Obviously Snap itself and as an idea is great. While the android version has been brought more up to speed it still is behind slightly it would seem. Everything worked for some time with little issue, however, recently I've had an issue with discover. I'll remove something and it'll show back up. I try to watch one and it restarts every few clips to the point it is not watchable. I'm glad to see even the minute amount of attention android is getting though.

I would have given it zero stars if I could. This app has been making me so furious these days. The videos freeze after a few seconds. Like if someone sends a long video which is in parts. It will freeze after a few seconds but the timer will keep going and if you touch the screen it will move forward and close. Why has it been happening? I have tried everything like reinstalling it, clearing the cache, everything, but the problem is still there. Help me out or I am gonna delete it for good.

It's amazing! But one HORRIBLE problem. I sometimes go on, and it shows the picture button, but it doesn't show the bottom choices (as in chat, story, filters, ect.)!! IT'S REALLY IRRITATING!!!! The only way I got out of the problem the first time is that my battery died and it got fixed. It's doing it RIGHT NOW. FIX IT OR 1 STAR.

1) When I record videos, the audio clips a lot. There should be a feature that normalizes audio/automatically changes gain level 2) When I save a collection of 5 or more photos in a group chat or private message, my app freezes. Only 4 of those photos actually download to my gallery. This happened on my Samsung and LG Stylo 6. It still occurs. I have to restart Snapchat for it to run again, but all the photos are not downloaded at once. Make it so photos can be saved and downloaded individually.

It's a great app, but for some reason now when I go to look in my "camera roll" (not my saved snaps), it will only show me pics from April of 2022 and nothing else. Even though I have way more photos on my phone that are backed up on my device itself. It's also worth noting that some of the pics it's showing from "April 2022" are not all from that month, some are from March and February for some strange reason. I've reached out to support and no one knows how to help. 2 stars for newest bugs.

It's a really good app especially if you wanna make friends from all around the world. Although, sometimes it can get really slow and sometimes photos you send take a while to go thru. Other than that, it's a pretty good app. Defnitely reccomend for everybody. The down side is that it isn't too good on chromebooks. Snapchat hasn't been working with sending photos or letting me see photos/videos or see anyones messages, i cant accept anyones friend request or add anybody. Please help me if yk!!!!

Its great, especially for texting, far better then apps like Instagram. But the discovery tab brings up extremely wierd things, like for example, cosplayers wearing the tightest clothes possible. Also, I don't like how if you look at your views and who viewed by tapping on your story and swiping up you can't then go back, continue watching your own story and watch your whole story. It stops after that small portion. Also, you need and i mean NEED to allow android to use dark mode. It's painful.

I've been using this app with the same account for almost 4 years and have never had a problem like the one I have right now. When I open videos sent from friends through a snap or chat they play for a second and close, not letting me view them. The same when I'm watching stories. Snapchat just automatically skips over them and it's irritating. I've left bug reports the past few days and no fixes so far. Please fix my problem before I go insane.

This is a great messaging app, but it's very frustrating that I can't remove the discovery section. I would much rather be doing other things with my time, but after viewing friends stories, I'm thrown straight into discovery. I really wish there was an option to hide this feature, as I think it would greatly improve my mental health, and allow me to do more interesting things with my free time.

For almost a year I haven't gotten any notifications. All I get when I contact Snapchat is that "they are aware of the problem and working on it." They changed the search options for the conversations so many times and each time it has gotten worse. Now they feel that they have to add as many ads as possible. I can't watch ten seconds of a story without getting a stupid ad. I wouldn't even mind the ads if they actually fixed the issues I have. It does have a lot of great features.

I really like this app because, I find it much more easy than most apps and I can check my friends story's and what not, but at times its very slow and if someone sends a video that is 1 minuet than you have only a few seconds to view them and that is very annoying. other than that it is a very useful app and I highly recommend it. Another good thing about snap chat I that you can see when people have read your chats and opened you snaps and that can be very useful at times. You can keep some photos and videos privet and I really like that. I hope you have a very good day/night x

It's actually a wonderful and excellent experience using dis app, alot of different filters which are amazing, but sometimes it's gives a little bit of problem such as snapping of pictures and not been able to access them after a very long period of time, it's really bad and annoying. Apart from dis the app is wonderful

May 2022 7th, new provlem, fix the stories. It keeps glitching and restarting all the way from the beginning of any story and sometimes repeats them again without showing what happens at the end. Its sad that this app has to have full access of your camera and microphone at all times instead of when the app is open or is being used at the moment.

For anyone who has recently had an issue where their camera won't record videos and it will stop after a second, and they can't record voice messages, I found a fix that may help. Just uninstall the app, restart your phone, then reinstall the app. This worked for me, so hopefully it will for you.

I do not like seeing the Discover page. I don't know why there isn't an option to disable it if you want. I am now starting to dread when a freind posts on their story, because I know I am going to see some uncomfortable content right off the bat, even for a moment. I have deleted the app multiple times but allways redownload because I will loose contact with really important freinds. Blocking pages isn't enough. I want change!

Really good app but it's not optimized very well for android and it was clearly made with iphone in mind. Certain things are outright missing from the android version such as dark mode and pinning, both of which are really easy to implement into the app especially since they're already on the iPhone version. The ability to pin a conversation is one of ghe most useful features and it's just missing from Android. There really is no excuse especially since this app has been out of almost a decade.

I was all good before the updates, now sometimes I don't get any notifications, the app freezes when I'm on another talking on the phone...... The worst problem of all is when it only shows the options to take a picture but not the other options like the chats, story and stuff like that. Each time it happens I have to go into my storage and clear all data on snap then I long in again and it starts working. Too much problems.
