I love SoberTool! The daily messages are great! They also have a bunch of different topics to choose from to read about. For instance, if you are thinking of relapsing, you can go there and there is a message about why you shouldn't. I just discovered the forum where you can speak to other addicts about anything. My favorite is the rewards! It tracks your sober time with a little chip and a daily inspiring message. And it calculates how much money you have saved since you've been clean!
2 times I've written long journal entries and both times my information was deleted. If you get distracted and don't automatically save your entry it will lose everything. That is the most frustrating thing about this app. It is not a good feeling to pour out all of my heart and thoughts only for it to be gone in a blink of an eye. Smh
This is one of the most important apps I have ever used. It accurately tracks my clean time, and gives back with many options with daily reading, and useful tips and advice when I may be struggling, or craving, or just need some plain old spirituality boost.
Excellent app, like having an instant pocket meeting. A great plus is being able to substitute any addiction instead of alcohol if your addiction is not alcohol. Sobriety is sobriety, no matter the weakness. This app is chock full of aids when temptation looms. My only problem with the app is it does not allow you to make corrections to the start date. It does not allow you to delete a former addiction. It's a great motivational tool to set short-term goals for non-addiction habits.
If you utilize the app as the tool it's meant to be, it can absolutely help. There's no one single thing that can get you through the disease, but using a combo that works for you can absolutely make a difference. Dive into the deep end head first and find a meeting near you!!
I tried another app which was good for locating meetings and you could email, call or text to reach someone. All good things. I really appreciate the daily Sober message which states the topic and also gives you homework. I'm new to recovery and have found that communicating with others in the forum attracts some really good support. Many other useful features, these are my favorites! Go in peace. I'm 6 months and counting and feeling great!
I highly recommend you download SoberTool. Reading the helpful messages on a daily basis helps me focus on the important things. The easy-to-use forum allows me to connect with others with similar experiences. I appreciate how frequently the app is updated. Iโm glad my friends told me to download it. SoberTool is a great aid to help you avoid using.
I enjoy this app alot. The daily messages and ability to create messages are great i kime the fact that you can join meetings and such also the options it provides are a great part of recovery and help get me going in the morning also. The only diwnfall i have found is that sometimes when i click on a setting it will not load and keeps just foing back to the daily message bored instead of the notifications or the more option on the drop down menu
Such an helpful application for alcoholics and addicts who wants to recover and live there life without using .. my experience with this app is great to this day .. I'm taking help from this app for more than 18 months and counting.. for the people behind this application.. god bless you guys and more power to you. Thankyou so much..
I just starting using this app and so far I really see the benefits of using it daily. Only issue, I cannot sign up an account. When I get passed entering my e-mail the sign up page disappears and goes back to home page. I'd really love to be able to interact in the forum. Any help with this would be appreciated.
I really like this app. The features of being able to express yourself and get feedback from fellow addicts on the road to recovery is great! However, I can't access this feature. It tells me to log in and when I try it kicks me back to the main menu! I know I have an account. It is saved within my Google account! If I am able to login I will change my review!
I love the app, the messages. motivation and inspiration. I understand the need for ads, but having them at the top AND bottom of the pages is so distracting and the ones that FLASH? JUST TERRIBLE. Makes it extremely difficult to read the content ๐
incredible app. i downloaded it in my first week of sobriety and every morning for the first 90 days it would send me a notification saying "see your daily message and REWARD" which helped me remember that i was doing the right thing. tons of messages to browse any time, categorized by various emotions/questions of early sobriety. helped keep me on track, reminded me to continue engaging in my other supports, and was there to talk me down when i couldnt bring myself to call someone.
I have fought with addiction for 18 years. After 3 years of active addiction, I got clean and stayed sober for 11 years only to relapse 4 years ago. Staying clean this time has been more difficult for me so in an effort to help myself, I began looking for a way to refocus on recovery whenever I needed it...24/7/365. This app has done that for me. It offers suport, encouragement & accountability.. It's been nothing short of my virtual sponsor! Thank you for creating an app that truly saves lives!
great app for keeping track of sobriety milestones, lots of inspiring messages daily, also has tons of features to help you find meetings, sponsors, and several other things. I'm writing this at 2 years and 10 months sober from heroin.
I absolutely love it; it's now a part of my daily life. This app is a Life-Saver! I start every day with the Daily Message. After reading it aloud, my husband & I talk about it on our drive to work. I feel so positive afterwards. I've learned a lot about myself by reflecting and/or journaling. ๐นThere's so much more also, but you should get it & find out for yourself. ๐ฅด TO THE CREATORS: Thank You So Much for Creating This App.
Ableist messages about "positive mindset". Like the analogy of the salt in the cup then the lake telling you to focus on the positive. If you've experienced many traumatic experiences over the course of your life, like many addicts have, this is ableist messaging. Also the interface is horrible, seems like an app built in the 80s
I think this app is a life changing experience and I have connected all my clients with sober tools. Com and they love it. I'm a Recovey coach specialist and I have helped 8 of my clients turned their lives around. Now they have a new lease on life . And they are so grateful for my input in ther lives . As far as I'm concerned that's The best feeling in the world. GLORIA.
This app is great! I love the messages everyday. The only downside is that it doesn't actually save the "favorite" messages. Super disappointed bc when I went to check, absolutely nothing was saved and I have no way of seeing what I thought I saved.
A great set of brief essays giving advice for the addict (to Anything) having cravings or other problems. Also has a great Sobriety Length indicator on the home screen. An valuable aid for any in recovery.
This app has become my constant companion during lockdown. I am finding that I am using it more and more often throughout the day (and sometimes night lol). I'd recommend SoberTool to anyone at any stage of their recovery.
Would REALLY go a long way/REALLY help is if at least a good 60% of the 'contributors' of 'aspects of authority' in the app (i.e. daily message/daily lesson (basically) but in many minds = quotes/lessons/insights that many of us take to heart & soul) but most of them can neither spell nor have the ability to apply any grammatical sense, which is just mind-boggling and disconcerting espec. if you want to help people & present a position of both professionalism & influence, then this NEEDS FIXED!
This is one of the best apps I have ever used. โค I have over 36years in my journey and not very tech savvy. With this pandemic going on & "them" wanting us to isolate, I have relied on this app. Very ๐ grateful. Thank U.
I have been sober almost 6 years and I have to say this is by far one of my favorite apps. I get daily messages which are actually really good and on point alot of the time. It keeps track of sobriety I like this one. Keep up the great work tontye person who made this app. ๐
I've tried a couple different sober tool apps and this one has been my favorite. I love the messages. Any time I'm feeling an uncomfortable emotion or an urge/craving I can find a specific message that seems tailored to my situation.
I'm only five days in, but I feel better about quitting than I have in a long time. The daily reminder and message is an amazing system that has kept me wanting to stay sober day after day. And the money I've saved being recorded is also incredibly enlightening.
Hello to all I am a 62 year young male. Started drinking at 17 years of age. Now almost 29 years sober. I have seen the good the bad and the ugly in things to help some one sober up and stay sober. My thoughts on this app great. Just My view forums are the best part. I love reading there and leaving a word of encouragement for those struggling. 5 stars all the way from me. To all who read wishing you all the best. My simple thought to help. 1 day at a time. It is how I have and always will stay sober.
I love this app.. Because everything is so thorough. It has the journal prompts which I love writing. I really hope every single person in recovery get to have this experience!
Very helpful app. Even after more than a year of sobriety, it's nice to get a daily message to help me stay on track. Sobriety is an everyday test, and helps to start my day with positivity. Also nice tracking sobriety time and amount of money saved.
Decided to try this app for a while before rating it. At 1st it was great. Daily messages are nice & rewards are a good reminder of how far you've come. Now for why I'm not giving it 5 stars. When I click rewards the app crashes & have to reopen it. Also if I clear my app data the cash rewards amount goes back to zero. When I started I'd get a daily motivational rewards message for my completed days which was nice but it stops at 3 months, goes to weekly, then at 6 months stopped all together.
