Recently lost my progress twice. Was enjoying this game, even with the ads, as those are expected in a free game. But I recently lost all my progress. So I started again and got into a month's worth of games before it removed all my progress yet again. Definitely enough to affect my experience with this game. Update: Well after a few months this game one again removed all my progress. I'm done!
It's annoying that it has started spamming me about turning on auto rotate and deselect lock orientation. I KNOW HOW TO DO THAT! I turned it off for a reason so stop spamming me about turning it on!
A classic game done in a simple and easy to use way. I especially like the little card show u get when u win! Would've gotten 5 stars but...too many ads!
sometimes forget the already passed the daily challenge, but great one, possible to customize the card backs and background ...
I WAS in love with this game. It was my way to relax. NOW, it's a struggle. Its slowing down during play. I have to stop the game and reload in order to speed it back up. I don't mind ads after I win (free game) but come on STOP the madness! If the ad is going to play, PLEASE no sound, no graphics-just the ad. I see the ads and I check some of them out. BUT when the ad takes over the game it makes me weary of playing your game, and WARY of downloading whatever product is being advertised.
Used this app for a long time, used to be very enjoyable. I would have even given it a 5 star back then. Not now! Now you spend more time with ads than the actual game. Not to mention how obnoxious the ads are quantity, duration, multi click to get out, etc. Ads used to be very sparse, and I get that the ads pay for the free play. One would think for all the ad revenue coming in now there would be more to the game, but there's not. I guess I will have to start looking for another solitaire game.
ads make the game run poorly. the movement of the cards becomes choppy and the only solution is to exit the app and go back in. this happens about every time the ad at the bottom of the screen changes, so quite frequently. I understand that you can pay to remove ads, however, playing with ads shouldn't affect the performance of the game.
This is a 1-player, free, straight-up Klondike Solitaire game. ads are not intrusive to game play. I love the size of the cards, and the many visually pleasing options for card faces, backs and table background. You can select the difficulty, turn auto hints off or on, select 1 or 3 card draws, and a single tap feature is also available. The game has unlimited lives, hints and an undo feature which are unheard of in a free solitaire app. There is no "save" option or music, but I could care less. It hasn't glitched on me yet! This is the most customizable, free Klondike Solitaire app I have ever seen, and I've been searching for a LONG time. definitely deserves a 5-star rating!
I started off really enjoying this game, but I quickly grew tired of the popup ads, particularly the video ones. But hey, it's free right, so I suppose that's fair. But after a while I started to become very frustrated at how the banner ads are placed. See, they're placed at the bottom of the screen like in any other app, but the menu buttons themselves are placed *underneath* the banner ad. You can tap above the banner ad to access those menu buttons, but if you end up tapping a menu button enough times (for example, if you're tapping 'undo' repeatedly, which is common in most games of Solitaire) the banner ads pop back up so you end up clicking those instead of the button. Aside from the negatives, the game is actually very nice. It's simplistic, but the graphics are very clean and neat. I also enjoyed the fact that you can select your own images to use as card backs/game backgrounds, etc., though admittedly I found the cost (in terms of in-game currency) of the card backs and backgrounds to be a little high, but again, it's all free and optional and you can always select your own, so that isn't a big deal. I would have given this game a 4, or possibly even a 5 star rating if it weren't for the ads, in particular the banner ads and how they're placed. That kind of Dark UI trickery is enough to turn my 4 or 5 star rating into an average 3 stars, because it's seedy and makes me feel as though I'm being dumped into clicking ads I never intended to click. Just my two cents.
Fun, if tedious. Ads are annoyingly frequent, banner ads cover game buttons, and there's no option to turn them off (which I would gladly pay for!). Beyond that, the format and UI is nice enough, though I'm sure it was copied from one of the other myriad Solitaire apps. I do greatly enjoy the themes options, especially the option to add your own background or card backs. All around, worthwhile app, though it stays a 4-star review until I can remove ads.
Just downloaded this app but it seems very good. Simple. Straight forward. It doesn't cost coins or points to play a round, so that means you can just play endless games. I really love that aspect, with most other apps requiring a number of points to do nearly anything in the game. The ads are pretty short too. Only about 5 second long before you are able to exit the ad. Overall, I'm really enjoying this game!!
I love it! It's well designed so that it's easy to navigate. The help button is brilliant for gently moving you on should you get stuck and you'll find you need it less as you improve. The ads are mercifully short and can often be skipped. You can even customise the card fronts, back and the card table. Plus you can use your own pictures from your phones gallery. This version of Solitaire is flawless and the best available. Look no further.
I was so addicted to this game and enjoyed playing it daily but since the new update I find the graphics are far too large and it distracts from the actual game and there's no way to change it in the settings. I can barely look at the game a few minutes before getting pains in my eyes from trying to focus at the cards to actually play. I would love to see a medal system created to give a sense of achievement and challenges to work towards, such as; win 3 games in a row
Edit: Ads have become very pervasive, as they show up on top of the controls (to start a new game, get hints etc.) This means you regularly tap ads, which open in maps or a browser.. which is really very annoying. Ads are present but not pervasive, and they are short. Game runs smooth, is customisable and altogether exactly what you're looking for if you want a decent solitaire app.
Overwhelming Ads! Wow I know "free" games always come with advertisements, and I expect a certain number of them. But to have an ad every. Single. Time. You open the settings menu is overkill. There's also a banner ad at the bottom, covering the toolbar with the tiniest 'x' to close it out. I didn't even complete a game, that's how bad it was. Sad, bc it looks nice and clean with a nice menu otherwise.
With the new updates this game is more annoying than enjoyable. There is a constant shaking icon in the corner of the U.I. that is for ads. This is on top of a banner of ads on the bottom. I understand the need for ads but they've taken it to the point where the experience is ruined. Uninstalling and going with one of the many other choices.
Whilst it is one of the most well structured solitaire apps, I am very upset with the ads positioning. If I want to undo the action multiple times, the add straight out of nowhere pops in the same place as the menu and it gets to me to the link I did not want to go as I am concerned about the privacy. Very bad move.
No major problems or ads. It is like regular solitaire. At the end, there is a big green button that says, AUTO COMPLETE. It does the end for you. You can choose your own background, back of cards, and front of cards. If you can't do any more moves, it has a hint button. Click on that, and it has a button called, MAGIC STICK. Then you can watch a ad, or trade in coins to use it. That way you can have it pick a turned over card for you. Happy solitaire!
I have had little issues with this game. It's a "back button ads" type game so the ads are well balanced, the controls work well, and the daily challenges are a nice aspect. Only small thing that's slightly inconvenient, the banner ad at the bottom blocks the undo button, so when I'm trying to repeatedly tap undo, it clicks on the ad sometimes. Small issue so not worth giving it 4 or less, but would be a nice fix.
I give this game a solid 3. It's pretty basic. You can't pick a difficulty level, it just stays the same every time. There are no fun bonus items/ power-ups. I would like to see the delevopers make this game into a story type mode, with level ups. some kind of map maybe? Something better than what alredy exists. Overall though the game is decent. Until you realize it is SUPER redundant.
Used to be good...This used to be a good game, but as others have said the ads make it choppy. I'm on an up-to-date S9 and this game closed itself 3 times so far in the span of 10 min. Two of those times was after I had completed the round, but before the ad finished playing, so I lost all progress on them and had to restart. As it is now I *cannot* recommend this to anyone. Stay away from this developer.
I find myself watching an increasing number of ads, which are longer, and for some reason every ad just be AS LOUD AS POSSIBLE. Can't even pay to remove the ads, which is weird and frustrating. I'm looking for a replacement. PS: ignore the so-called "Magic Stick"; after winning dozens of games, you can purchase this mechanism which will (maybe) make an unwinnable situation winnable if you use it several times. A "Magic Stick" used once will almost never help you, but using several might do so...
I don't understand the scoring on timed games. I completed a game in 1min 9sec and got a lower score compared to many games that took an average of 2min. The scoring just seems off.
It's a really good game to pass the time. It is neither too hard not too easy which is makes it a challenge. My only problem from this is how the daily plays are graded. I don't really understand how they grade it gold or silver. It's often quite inconsistent. Sometimes, my plays with less than 400 score were gold while some plays with scores more than 500 were only silver? If it's possible, could you please tell how they are graded so that it wouldn't be confusing?
I'm addicted to this game. Play it allll the time. with the most recent update, they added in more ads. You have to watch30 seconds of ads every time you want to play a new game of solitaire.I've gotten Good at the game and can beat it in under a minute sometimes. I won't be playing it anymore unless they change the ads. I'm not watching 30 seconds of ads to play one game. Ridiculous.
Full screen ads designed to look like the game. It tries to trick you into clicking it. Game makers are in on it. Constant advertising. banners and fullscreen. Some have audio that is independent of game sounds so you get blasted with noise. It's a shame because it seems otherwise pretty good. Then again, there are hundreds of other apps the have the same game.
It's really fun, there is a lot of customization, that is partially unlocked and the rest can be bought with coins, however it's a really fair system, some of the nicest designs are already unlocked, and the price for the other ones is reasonable. You can only have 3 active at one point, and if you really want one, it's pretty easy to save up for it. I love this app, the best Solitaire App I have ever used.
Its solitaire... But they load it up with so many ads... In between games is one thing, but 'another' ad when you exit the options menu??? They also load while playing, which tanks the performance massively. Its a card game that's been around and readily available for free since the earliest home pc's. What more do you need to keep developing? Get your hands on the source code, port it to mobile, done. Wait for ad revenue and do nothing else. That's this game in a nutshell.
