Solo Launcher-Clean,Smooth,DIY

I've been a loyal Solo user for an extremely long time now, & I've recommended it to all my family members & friends, but its performance has drastically worsened since the last update. It seems that my experience is not isolated, either; everybody has mentioned continual crashes like I've been experiencing. It's very disappointing, especially when it happens to be my favorite launcher out of the entire Play Store.

I love this app and would rate it higher if it didn't have ads in the folders. They weren't there previously. Now they are annoying. I mute them, but the volume turns on again. I can't open a folder without an ad blaring at me in the middle of a silent room. NOT OKAY! If there is a way to turn them off, I need to know, then I will give a better rating.

I was happy with this until a while back when Chrome shortcuts stopped working. The deal breaker was a recent release that introduced ads that played sound when a folder was opened. Completely unacceptable in a work place. No warning, no control, bit Undine in a letter release. When I first started using Solo a few years back, it was a leader. Now other launchers have the same features I relied on, and I have migrated to an ad free environment without losing any functionality. Shame the developer took this path.

Hah! Bug fixes, schmug fixes! Was absolutely fine until the last update. Then it was b*ggered. Now Solo Launcher (set as Default) crashes every 5-7mins, drains the battery, takes at least 20 seconds to reload after crashing and the Beautify part of the app is unavailable. I'm on a Samsung S8+ so not some unknown, born in Dinosaur Times model. How can I get this back to how it was? 😳 "If it ain't broke don't fix it." And this is a non-UK company so it's not like they care about feedback?

Pathetic. I was using solo lanucher in my old phone for more than 2 years without any issue. When tried it in my new phone, First impression is ugly. The launcher is not even launched for the first time. CRASHING CRASHING CRASHING. Serious attention required from Developers.

Just wish the app drawer was customizable. Other than that, not too different from other popular launchers. BUT this has the big bonus of being the most battery efficient I have ever used. It's managed to make my old Galaxy S5 actually usable. I've used other launchers that were "supposedly" the most battery efficient. But they often have a lot of drawbacks, bad UI, low resolution icons, run slow/sluggish, poor icon pack support, no customization, etc. So this is THE most well rounded launcher.

From the first minute it keeps showing annoying popups insisting on setting it as the default launcher - that is before I have had a chance to have a quick look if it is any good. Even more presumptious, it changed my wallpapers immediately, without even asking me. I had to spend my time to restore those. If the app developers do not respect my time, I don't want their app.

I use to love Solo, now I'm less impressed with it than I used to be. I WANT TO BE ABLE TO DISABLE THE "SMART ICON" FEATURE!!! I have photos of my nephew as my wallpaper and I want NOTHING covering them. I like the other features of Solo, when I started using Solo years ago, it did not have the Smart Icon feature and I was very satisfied with it. VITAL - WHEN YOU ADD NEW FEATURES, ALLOW THE USER TO DISABLE THEM!!!

Great, except for the fact that i cant find out how to get back to my NORMAL HOME SCREEN!!!! by the way i am using lollipop android (5.1.1) but its still good. I have an icon pack on this great app. Made from Icon Pack Studio, thanks to them. No crashes, no auto restarts, nothing happens as this is my launcher right now.

It does not show the weather which I find is very annoying. Also I want a bigger home screen grid like 6x5, 7x5, 7x6, etc. Also, what's up with it showing only like 35 apps? I have wayyyy more than 35 apps on my phone.

A very good app. Everything is simple and clear. Makes it without any confusion. I have used other launcher hola launcher very similar to solo launcher for many years it was my favourite but now not existing ; better in that range one and only is the Solo launcher. But now it is crashing in REDMI NOTE 9 pro max. And Samsung also. Need to sort it out immediately. Originally I rated five Star. But continuous crashes it is down rated.

This launcher used to work wonderfully, it was my favorite but since the last update it keeps crashing/closing. I had to re-setup all my folders, etc. because of it!! It said it fixed bugs but I think it just gave it more bugs than it ever had before.

Ive been using ever since its initial release. But the recent update which shows a lot of ads everywhere especially with sound enable. Really change my view about this launcher. From best to worst user experience. Unfortunately, I have to uninstall this app. Goodbye, *ads* launcher

Good before but after the update it keeps on doing force-closing over and over again. And when I do make a folder and keeps some apps it only shows 4 rows and 4 columns which only occupies HALF of the screen and makes the other half of the screen blank and can't be tapped. Im using Samsung S10 plus.

I have been using this app from more than 2 years but now I have decided to uninstall the app after they introducing ads with sound!! Very disturbing if I am at work when suddenly ad starts playing with loud sound!!! Very bad experience. Hated it

Great launcher EXCEPT, for some reason, every time I put another widget on the home screen, all the other ones refuse to respond or refresh. I'll place a weather widget down after a clock widget and the clock will stick and never change, then if I delete it and place it again, the weather one won't ever refresh. Please fix.

After the update the app keeps crashing, it wont even open. I'm having to use the default mode on my phone. It was working fine before the update now I can't use it at all. Deleting and finding something else.

Graphics are great but the app itself is terrible. Hid all of my apps, then wouldn't let me Uninstall it without going to play store and clicking on the app icon itself to open the Uninstall button. It would be a great launcher if it did what it's supposed to do. Don't download it until it's been fixed.

Solo launcher has been so great until when I updated to the latest 2020 version. I can't even used the app. I uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times the problem still persists. It's not working at all. It's horrible. Something should be done about it as soon as possible.

I have been using Solo launcher for years now without issue but with this latest update, it crashes Everytime it is opened. Rather than fixing bugs, I guess the new update introduced bugs,please kindly fix this before you start loosing users as the launcher is practically unusable now.

The newest update made it where the app is literally unusable. It crashes each time I try to make it my default homepage. I tried restarting my phone and it still won't open. Please fix this!!

Had to get rid of this launcher last year as it kept stopping and was unusable. Recently reinstalled it, and it can be used not but still has a habit of stopping frequently. Shame, as when it works it is great

The latest update is working a bit slow. When navigating from apps to home screen, it takes about 2-3 seconds to completely load the screen. Please check.

Works great for years, but recent update (June 2020) was so much problem. Always closing apps & keeps error on 3 devices I have. Please fix it, then I will bring back 5 stars in it.

smooth, has nice customization features, easy to use and has a sleek interface. I hope the developers will continue to make even more themes to choose from!

A really easy cool launcher. Just the right amount of customization and choices, not to technical and lots of unexpected features. This is the second time I've used Solo and it's still one of my top favorites.
