Spider Solitaire

Always been a big fan of spider solitaire, this game makes playing easy and smooth. The reason for the low star rating is too many ads. There is literally one before each deal. While there is a no ad option, its only subscription based. My recommendation to developers is to reduce the number of ads to one every for deals or so.

Jeweled crown is broken. You are supposed to get it when you complete level within 24 hours, but it doesn't happen. I just find it annoying. Edit: They may have changed the rules, but you can only get the jeweled crown if you beat the daily challenge for the day it is or a future one. I swear before it was on a 'first try' basis, but they seemed to have changed it. I've been playing day for a year and still my go to game for down time. 5 out of 5 for sure.

I have had this app for years. Lately (within 5 months) the ads have completely ruined anything I've enjoyed about playing this game. Whatever has happened lately has caused at least 80% of the ads that pop up to lock the game. What it SEEMS to be is the size of the ad is too large for the phone screen so the option to close is missing. The ONLY way I have been able to get past the screen is by selecting the option to Report Ad and mark it as counterfeit 3 TIMES before the screen closes!

Some ads are a problem. When there are no more ads that are impossible to dismiss and take you to the Play Store every time, requiring a kill and restart of the app, I will change my review to 5 stars. Ads are fine. Ads that can't be dismissed are not.

Love the game portion, however the Ads have become as long and the game time. Used to be one click to continue with game. Now they are running up to 45 seconds between EVERY game. I'll be looking for an alternative solitaire app with less hassle because that's why I play SOLITAIRE.

The game is good but the adds are broken. Some adds do not finish and can not be closed. The only way to exit is to close the app and you loose your progress in the game. This is happening more and more frequently. Totally ruins this game. There is no x skip or close button. Contacted support through in app messaging as advised when this review was first posted and the response was a joke just an auto generated list of support pages I might find helpful. FYI they did not relate to my inquiry.

Worst update ever, made game unusable. It reduced size of cards and squished all together that I can't see them apart. Took away functionality, no more landscape mode. This mandatory update was no update, but a complete redesign. Now there's no point in playing because you watch more commercials then you get playtime and you're forced and you can't close out of it. Can never win because they are constantly changing functionality and forcing their rules on players, no trust, no reason to buy app.

Earlier today I gave this a one star rating because it always gave me hints and I didn't want them. I've since learned that there are many more setting options than those that appear when you bring up the settings. You have to scroll to get to them. They should make this obvious. But besides that I think it's a great game (now that I've turned off automatic hints) and so I'm changing this to 5 stars.

I loved this version until it stopped working right. It stopped my S pen from working in the game, so I uninstalled it & reinstalled it. Changes happenedwhen i did that. It stopped accepting my move decisions & made alternate moves instead. Began showing the top layer of cards in white & cards behind those in gray. I had no control over changing any of this. My game is gone. Thanks Mobilityware.

It's a fun game, easy to play and easy to navigate. I like the daily challenges and goals. There are different options for subscription (ad removal) and $1.99 is reasonable. I do wish there were more challenges though - the 3 per day are easy to beat in 1 or 2 levels. MORE GOALS PLEASE 🙂

I love how simple it is. Not like the other card games where they add a bunch of random side games, rewards,, make you open chests,, etc.. So much extra clicking.. (wow, I feel old) This one, you open it and get right to the game. Super good deals for no ads too!

The game itself is fine but the ads are now unbearable. They're long and you have to watch one every time you deal a new game, which I could tolerate, but also they mute all other system sound. The only way to get rid of them is by paying for a subscription service. I'd be happy to pay a once off fee, but not this.

Fun game, I always loved solitaire. There's an ad every finished game but there's no ads during gameplay. I love how easy the settings are, you can make it more challenging or more easy. I've never seen any solitaire game do that.

It's a great brain stimulating game. It's a pity that the popup menus don't drop down after a few moments. they stay there and obliterate the bottom of the screen! Otherwise, 5 stars!

Edit: They listened but the problem is certainly not fixed. I'm addicted to this game. Great game and I love this version. But some of the ads are devious. Doesn't matter when or where you touch you're taken to the Play store. Zen Match is particularly bad. Only thing is to close the game and restart it.

Results feel like a real card game. The only problem is landscape format doesn't lock and the slightest of movement will return it back to portrait. This makes playing somewhat unpleasant.

We played this game for years, moved on and came back. My complaint is that we always played 2 suits before but now even set at 100% winnable games 2 suits is programmed so strongly against the player it's too frustrating to play. And one suit is too boring to play. We notice the difference even in the frugal number of plays that come up before you have to take the 1st draw. And even with winnable games set a draw will give ONE same card across the draw. EVERY 2 SUIT GAME. Ready to uninstall.

I have a Samsung Note and since the most recent "update" the stylus no longer works as it should! And we won't even talk about having to sit through 30 seconds (or more) of ads before the game starts!!! Maybe it's time to give another company's version of Spider Solitaire a try...

it's a great solitare game. free to play. the ads can get annoying but I don't mind them. there are multiple backgrounds and the cards can change so it keeps things interesting.

I took off 1 star due to lack of ad quality control. Please stop running ads for competeing spider solitaire games posing as updates. One of my favorites.....but the titles you earn for achieving higher levels are weird. Although I am on level 512. I choose to play as an Overlord, achieved at level 340. Rather than any of the goofy titles I earned at higher levels. To put this in context you earn a new title every 5 levels. So, I have earned 30 plus titles since earning Overlord.

Honestly, the best solitaire app I've tried. I haven't tried them all - but I love the themes, colors, backgrounds, card designs, complete custom design, layout, interface, and only $1.99 a month for ad removal! That I can more than deal with! Especially since I earn more than that every month through the google rewards app. So in a way, Google is paying for it 😂

Great except when the ads are bigger than full screen and you can't hit the X...so you have to quit and restart. Pretty frustrating.

Like this game. But had to reinstall. Do not know why. I have been playing for a long but something went wrong. Hope this does not happen again. MobilityWare keeps popping up every time I try to play Spider game. And does not go away until I keep swiping to move MobilityWare. It will get a much better rating when that no longer happens. I cannot send you a picture as I do not know how to do that. I am to old to figure that out. Rating will keep going down until fixed. Please fix.

A Play Score Game that won't save progress within a Google user profile shouldn't be in the Google Play Store. A forced factory reset chnaged me from level 207 to starting over. That is totally ridiculous. I won't be playing any more of this developer's games. I gave it second chance and at level +200 an "update" of the app lost all my history. Uninstalled 4E4.
