I think this is awesome and has more potential. If you can incorporate this into a watch version it would increase the convenience when I'm on a job site rather than have to risk taking my phone out and potentially breaking the screen. However fantastic device and application.
Has problems maintaining a connection over Bluetooth. Also, the app always crashes when trying to upgrade the device firmware.
As soon as I hit take a reading it disconnected Bluetooth EVERY TIME. Haven't been able to use it once, it won't update firmware, kicks me straight out of the app every single time....anybody??
What a great way to keep your testing
This is an update to my previous review on this tool. After contacting AAB and talking to them about the tool not connecting to my droid turbo 2, they sent me a new tool. After receiving the new tool and working together with AAB, it looks like my first tool was defective. The replacement tool works great and I have used it on a few of jobs. My boss was impressed with the outcome to boot.
Universal Hvac I will use this tool soon and I will comment again.
Straightforward instructions. Great rugged design. Works perfectly! Hopefully will encourage other technicians to get this often overlooked info to correctly diagnose problems.
I got one to use as a training tool. Mainly because it shows where to put probes to check static and pictures are always easier when explaining something to guys that don't understand how to check it properly
I cant believe how well this works. Thanks
Once I opened the app it says SPM-100 not found And the next line is anywhere to buy button. When I clicked the connect button in the upper right hand corner of the page the app freezes. This app doesn't work.
The SPM-100 used to work well with my Android phone and tablet. Tried calling their support and never was able to reach anyone. Now it won't connect to the android devices at all. Tried to download new firm ware, no go either. It does work with my apple work phone however. Would be great if I could ever get ahold of someone at AAB. I also have some doubts about the accuracy of the reading's when compared to other manometers.
