So I've been playing since December. It started off great but I'm slowly losing interest not even 2 full months in. First, I understand PAY2WIN is the new thing but you need to cater to the masses. There's nothing left to do until it upgrades. Also I think the AI could use a bit of a tune up. Server load errors that lose the battle for you. I've lost squad wars and week long conflicts . Also I can't place all troops during a battle, saying there's no more when it's clearly highlighted. Fix!!!
The game is well deserving of 5 stars. The one thing i want to point out is the time it takes to upgrade things needs to be slightly reduced (jump from one level time to another is too big) and the price of wall upgrades in relation to total storage and production is a tad bit high. Otherwise, the game is great! Very fun and appealing to me as a star wars fan.
The game itself is great, you earn credits and reasourses, build a base, and train an army. You can't directly control your forces, but I believe that just adds to the challenge. There is only one issue, the only way to start over or switch sides is to uninstall and reinstall the app. Come on developers make it where players can save and play multiple games on one profile, I want to play both the Rebels and the Empire. Other than that this game rocks, and I highly recommend it five stars.
It's only missing one thing, and that's it is kind of difficult to upgrade, and to aquire certain items. Other than that, everything is excellent. Coin production is also to difficult, there is not a very good balance between alloy production and the coin production. Also too many things require coins, and some of those things require too many coins. And not enough things that cost alloy.
Avarage at best. Takes too much time to upgrade items, base, and units, things get costly quick. It made for you to spend money. Plane and simple. For the good.. It gets fun in small doses, but you quickly run out of resources and you have to wait long periods before play again. It has elements of an old school RTS, but restricts you with time and waiting. This game would be fun if you could just buy it for $10. No silly micro transactions.
Great! I love star wars. looking for decent game, and i think i've found it. Unit Training times are excellent. It's clear a lot of thinking went into that. No longer do i need to wait 50 minutes, or an hour for troops i've trained like other popular base building games, and it should stay that way. Unit cost is cheap, makes it more affordable, and easy to donate to squad allies, no change needed there. Troop commanding controls are pretty good. Easy to use. and building times are good as well.
This game is fun when you first start, but then after you reach a certain point, upgrade times take days unless you're willing to fork over real money. There are a few issues/bugs. I'm still trying to figure out how I lost my entire base to 3 stormtroopers. You can't rotate buildings to make base layouts more esthetically pleasing and turret/shield generator placement more convenient. If you're willing to pay real money, then this game is for you. If not, be prepared to get bored after a while
I have been playing for about 4 years now. I enjoy the interaction with my squad via an outside the game chat app. The game itself has not grown in a positive direction. My biggest problem outside of all the ridiculous crashes is the absolutely absurd amount of crystals needed to finish training troops. The addition of the Prestige level has ended the game for me. Once I'm out of crystals I'm done. Under the previous level I would have spent a few more dollars. Nice job devs.
Looks like somebody took Clash of Clans and put Star Wars on top of it. The gameplay that I experienced was simple and basic, yet they still managed to not develop it correctly as I'm currently stuck in a loop where I can only log in and immediately the game goes into a game play state where I can't upgrade my base. Yet I have no other option but to upgrade my base during the tutorial phase. So good job I couldn't even play through the tutorial.
Stopped playing a while back. it was starting to be too much too quick. I hated that you could get attacked every 15 minutes unless you spent a ridiculous amount of actual money to NOT get attacked. An upgrade to auto repair would be cool so long as you had the resources to do it. Not to mention auto-resource collection. I'm not a kid with unlimited time to spend on a game. And maybe have 2 options (pay server/no pay server) I don't like games where disposable income determines success.
This game is great. The best star Wars game out ther on mobile in my opinion but I'm giving it 4 stars for a valid reason. That being sometimes when I open the game it doesn't load and I'm stuck on the opening screen for ages. 2nd when I open the in game store for turrets or building ect. it takes a long time to load up also the same issue accures when I try and open the train soldiers menu it takes a long time and I hope that at some point these issues will be fixed as soon as possible thanks
It was fun when I first started playing. However, as I progressed further, I noticed a few things that ruined continuous playability for me. First, building/ training times. It's ridiculous that I have to wait up to 24 hours for 1 barrack to complete an upgrade or a platoon of troopers to be battle ready. I considered using crystals to bypass the waiting time, but that option requires a lot of crystals. I spend most of my time waiting rather than playing.
I enjoy playing the game. The graphics are good for this type of game and the controls work well enough. The only thing that hinders my enjoyment is anytime I get a phone call while playing, no matter if I answer or not, the game has to completely reboot. If I'm in the middle of a battle I will either not get any credit for the win (even if I am seconds away with 2 stars) or sometimes get marked as defeated even though the battle did not complete. This can be very frustrating.
