Deserving of a 0 star review because you can't exit out of battle on an enemy turn. In a game where turn meter trains and long animations clog up time, this poorly made garbage forces you to force quit the game constantly in order to save 4 minutes of being idle while the computer takes its turns. If you are reading this, don't fall for the trap of star wars. Edit: this is not a new issue. Communication does nothing.
Wonderful graphics! Love the soundtracks! Just make it a bit more convenient to get cash items and stuff. Update: I had to switch phones and tried to move my game over but ended up losing everything. After nearly a year of work, it was really upsetting. UPDATE I switched phones and lost all of my data. Had to start all over again. Grrrr.
Overall, I really enjoy this game, nearly everything between collecting characters and battling with them. I do like that this is one of those games where you aren't required to spend your own money to progress. However, I have had this problem for quite a while where I am not able to enter the game because of "errors dowloading assets." I've tried just about everything to fix this, as in uninstalling multiple times, clearing cache data, etc. Any support on this issue would be appreciated.
I always believer there is room to improve, in this case, the game is unbelievably slow, regardless of specs of the home device, I have used 4 phones 3 tablets over the years, and my various pcs I have built (emulators to play the game) emulators with altered specs have provided the best experience but, it still hasn't fixed the issue of its run speed, regardless of the power I have gave it to do so. Over all the, the game is amazing, if you like raid and star wars, then you will like this.
I do love this game, but there is one main issue. Sometimes when I play battles manually, it'll freeze, which means I'll have to reopen the app and lose both the progress in the battle and the energy I used. Other than that and some pop-up offers, it's a great game.
I think this is an amazing game. It has tons of characters, from pretty much every movie or series. But I've got 2 problems. The energy is a big one. I get limits like that, but it can get really, really frustrating waiting for hours to have enough to play 5 levels. Waiting 30 seconds for 1 point of energy sure, but minutes? And my other is how difficult it is to get levels. I can't even get into any real guilds because I'm not above lv 70. I can't get characters because I can't get guild coins.
Aside from a bit of constant "Special Deal!" pop ups common to these types of games I'm really enjoying it. Set up so new players can level up quickly as well and get into the thick of things. You'll still have to grind for characters if you don't want to spend cash, but some of these starting packages seem cheaper than other games. Just be sure not to get carried away.
Good free to play title. I've sunk many hours into this over a longer span of time than I'd like to admit. They introduce new content and game modes periodically which helps to keep things interesting. Lots of complaints that it is "pay to win", but good planning and patience can replace virtually all of that need.
Have been playing this game for a few years now, and there were some very good improvements. But for a few months now the game slows down and crashes randomly, sometimess during pvp battles which has bad consequences and can be a bit frustrating. Otherwise fun to play and grind.
Very enjoyable. I like how you dont necessarily have to pay to upgrade your characters but still is a grind. Waiting to refresh energy points and actually getting the characters is a bit repetitive and annoying but I can say that I'm enjoying the game. But it's not for everyone.
Update: So, I updated the game this morning at 9am and up until now, 8pm, the game still won't launch. Constantly getting stuck at "Loading Cantina". Come on, how is this even an issue? Was enjoying it as a nice past time but I can't get it to launch whatsoever. Tried restarting my phone, uninstalling and reinstalling and it still won't work. Help!
It's a wonderful gamete play to pass some time. I just wish the level requirement for most of the activities were lower. I still have all of the basic Dark vs light battles, Catina battles and anything else you unlock at low level unlocked, but it gets dull sometimes doing the same thing dat after day. Other than that I love the game and will continue to play it. The Pay-to-Win aspect is kind of OK (Over Kill).
SWGOH was one of the best games in the app store. Now it's the biggest cash grab. Over the top challenges for mid and even end-game players and the only way to get stronger (after a certain point) is to pay money. You can try to pass through without paying but you'll most likely quit the game before you get there.
Actually very fun and entertaining if you don't mind shelling out I'd imagine a few hundred bucks to have decent characters... that being said... I've been playing this game for about a year and a half, haven't spent a dollar on this game and still maybe a quarter as good as the top players... so basically grind, grind, grind... grind some more just to get characters to gear lvl10... after that you have to spend real $ or save up gems to buy materials to get past that gear level.
A spectacular game, I love the simple concept and realistic characters that looks just like in the movie or series. The performance is smooth and the graphics are fine. There are essentially many fun things to do here, while there are indeed some energy point limits, I felt like I can still play or battle everytime I want!
This game is a lot of fun and probably one of the best turn-based mobiles games I think I've ever played however before you start playing this game there is some stuff you should know. Progression in this game is slow, if you want to actually get anything good in this game without paying it will take a long time, however you can get everything in the game without paying which I think is a more than fair trade-off than a lot of mobile games locking everything behind pay-walls.
This is my 3rd update on this game. I am now level 80. Money actually starts becoming tight and leveling up gets extremely exhausting and takes multiple days in a row. And to get the good characters you rather have to buy the hyperdrive bundle or grind for months on end to get them. Energy goes down really fast and recharges slower than you can possibly even spend it. Not too bad until this point I kinda just hit a slight wall. But I still recommend to try it and play till you get bored.
Waste of time, I've played this game for a year and saved credits and materials and in the shipments to buy extras there are rubbish selection, but when all credits have been spent, next refresh, better collectables. Not spent a penny on this game and yet the company makes 200mil a year on it. And when extra energy is purchased with saved up crystals to try to get more shards for characters and ships. The probability of getting the shards to level up is less. The game cheats.
Updates are causing problems, not fixing them. Each time they update, you are 100% going to receive an asset download error. Restart the device? Doesn't work. Shut it down? Doesn't work. Kill app and restart it? Doesn't work. The developers are making a lot of money on this game but yet, can't it put it to good use in fashioning an update that ACTUALLY FIXES BUGS. I, the player/consumer/reason for why the game is supported should not have to constantly deal with this issue.
Good fun.. when it loads. For me it keeps freezing on opening load screen when it says loading cantina. I literally have to Uninstaller the app, re-download it and then reload all the in-app features like the shop and the characters wing. All of it really, everything. Hope they can figure that out and fix it...
It's cool and all, but the simulation ticket system is terrible. I play the marvel game similar to this one that lets you simulate fights for free, which makes the experience much more streamlined and enjoyable. This game feels like it takes forever to do anything, which just makes it boring.
Useless support. Purchased two crystal packs. One for $19.99 and $4.99. It gives me an error, cancels the purchases and tells me I haven't been charged. When I clearly was and all they do is have a bot to tell you that you received it. Photos to prove I didn't. Even have the original google play card. Thiefs. Oh I forgot. If you get a refund through google play you lose access to the content. So a year and a half progress almost wasted if I hadnt noticed that. So they keep your money hostage.
Total money grab do not download. I have been trying to get my favourite characters from the star wars universe and they are locked behind pay walls or rediculous requirememts for new f2p players. New mode coming soon"proving grounds" is a perfect example it takes years of play to get the requirements needed for that mode and it locks out getting commander ashoka tanno and razor crest I will no longer be playing this game as it is simply a waste of time trying to progress to get the toons I want
The game itself is great. But quit with the "updates"! The game is good enough as it is. If I try to play the game and there is an update available, the game won't let me play until I get the update. But my phone only has so much memory on it. I can't fit anymore "updates" into my phone, they're eating up all the memory, but I can't play the game unless I get the "update". At the very least upates need to be made "optional", so a person can still play the game without getting anymore updates.
Opened the game. No audio. I assumed that meant that the audio was included in the initial download that's needed after you start the game, but it doesn't download before the game starts, so you're sitting through cutscenes, tutorials and gameplay in complete silence. Not an enjoyable experience. Plenty of other apps in the playstore.
It is fun to play,but sometimes it can get to the point that there is nothing to do until they make a new character. Also if you don't have the items you you can never get past level 74 or 78 and if you don't have the time do not get the app. In order to get most of XP have to have the whole day free.
Simple and fun gameplay. A cool little collect 'em all featuring Star Wars characters. Two things I would change: 1.) This game needs a PC version so I can play it from the comfort of a desktop when I can't use my phone or don't wanna eat up the battery in say like a cafe or airport. 2.) EA reeeeally beats you over the head with ads for purchasing their packages to the point it is super annoying. Other than that, a good time waster.
