Not a fan for simple reasons - the UI is not useful with the checkout/payment process. Once you check out, there is no receipt system available once you close the app. It gives you one popup for a receipt and if you forget to screenshot, you will lose the receipt. Tipping is a nightmare, it only gives you the option *sometimes* but I would like to have it every time. It also cancelled my tip when I needed to reload funds. Just a mess but I want the feature.

Still experiencing issues with editing drinks after they're in the cart. The store near by is always out of one thing or another, usually I'd click on the item and it brings me to the part where I can edit/customize. Lately (even before this last bug when we couldn't order in app) it has been doing this, clicking on the item will kind of "glitch" the screen but there is no action. Starbucks, your developers need some help.

Good. Pretty easy to use fluid drinks are accurate and promos are usually on par with the purchases overall I'm happy with it I see it has favorites but I'd like to be able to add my own favorites that I could tap and then just order without having to search for them and I don't see where there's a feature for that or maybe I missed something.

App stopped working, today. I've tried everything from restarting my phone, force closing the app, and even uninstalling and reinstalling, and it won't open. I couldn't order my coffee at 6am or even still, at 10am, and I am righteously furious about this! Also, you don't get your points toward challenges or even your stars for refills if you use this at a grocery store kiosk without having to use the help option and jump 2,000 hurdles, so keep that in mind!

Needing to load money on like a gift card literally has kept me from spending money at Starbucks. I used to go once in a while as a treat, but in 2022 if I can't order ahead with an app, I just don't go. And if I am only spending $3 once in a rare while, I am not going to load $5 onto an app for the company to basically have my investment without paying interest LOL. I know that sounds hyperbolic over $5 but imagine how many people's extra unused $2 they have indefinitely. Let us pay as we go?

It's a pretty good app. The only problem I've had so far is that they don't have a refund ability. I made an order and it got sent to the wrong store. In order to get a refund I had to send corporate a request and I'm still having to wait to get an answer. They should have a simple built in method for refunding purchases. Otherwise the apps been an overall pleasant experience. In summary Good app, minus two stars for lack of refunding option.

Please show $0 reciepts on the app. I recently used a reward that brought my total to zero and I can't leave a tip through the app! I would love to leave a tip on a zero dollar purchase because I want to show my thanks for a drink well made with the baristas. On the plus side, the app is easy to use and easy to understand rewards points that are easy to use.

New update isn't working at all. Nothing is loading and it's not a connectivity issue on my end because I've checked other apps/websites and they all load up just fine. On here I'm just getting a spinning circle forever and ever. EDIT: once everything loaded I tried to find the starbucks that I go to and got "no stores found." I live in a city and have stores all over so I know this is wrong.

You need to make it easier for storefront employees to update the availability of drive-through, dining room etc. I placed an order based on a store having in-store dining, only to find that the dining room was closed(they were short-staffed(. The app indicated it was open. This could have been especially problematic had I been on foot without access to drive through. Make it easy for employees to update these details!!

It's glitches pretty often. Won't be able to pay, order, or refil the Starbucks payment card. App is up to date, and I even had to reinstall it, but still. It's been like this all the time when I had to use this app. I either had to wait until it will stop "A system error has occurred.", or to don't use it because it's not working at all.

Like the deals but I reloaded $20 to the app the 1st day of the new promo, hit my PayPal but nowhere to be found in my app balance. Thinking maybe I should just get rid of the app as the coffee is expensive anyway 🤷‍♀️ Update: the $20 was credited back, thanks to Paypal. I'm just going to be a little wary of the seasonal promotion games they offer.

The user experience leaves a bit to be desired. Adding gift cards and such is not overly intuitive. Spent 5 minutes poking around and couldn't find it. Asked Google and the way it said to do it doesn't appear. I have just given up and likely won't be going to Starbucks anytime soon since I don't feel overly confident in them after attempting to navigate this app.

Changing to 1 star. 0 if I could. Normally a reliable app but now cant complete a purchase or customize a drink and spend 150 stars anymore. Some bad glitches. The "things we also suggest" at bottom of checkout page is ruining that page. Try to buy a drink I get a notification that having trouble right now please change store. My stars are going to expire because I can't use them either. Utter horse cack.

With increasing frequency, the app randomly decides that Starbucks is out of coffee - for days at time. At other random times it will not allow ordering. But most frustrating now, is the breakdown between the app and the store. The extreme delay in filling orders defeats any benefit of ordering ahead. I order 10-15 minutes ahead of time then wait another 10-15 minutes before my drink is prepared. Meanwhile other customers wall in, orde at the register, and leave with their drinks.

5/19/22: Starbucks says play this game on the app and finally get free stuff, the app conveniently breaks. They have had years to get their app fixed. Instead, they break it in order to not give away any free prizes. I am unable to log into the app. It keeps giving me an error message. I have money on my account too, which I can't access. If people do not know already, the birthday coupon is only good on the day of your birthday, no exceptions. If the store is closed, you loose your drink.
