Awful app. Hands down the worst app I have ever had the displeasure of using. I have to reset my password every time and it says my username isn't in the system yet the email I received from state farm says it is. I really like my insurance agent and coverage but the app needs some serious help.
Always broken, hours of tech support, no resolution. StateFarm is constantly locking my account too many login attempts, and I only tried once. Then it says to recover the account and set a new password. Fine, I go through the steps, get an email, choose a new password, and hit the "Confirm" button, and nothing happens. The page doesn't submit, doesn't process, and sits. This happened last month, the monthly before that, and etc. Wasting my precious time on phone for hours with tech support.
It hase been horrible. I was with my last company for 7 years and I never had a problem with one. I moved and then I moved to State farm insurance and it's been nothing but problems. They put me on my information wrong then canceled my insurance because my information was wrong but that was their fault not mine. I got to activate it again I'm from the time they canceled my insurance they were going to refund the payment that I made and never did. Said that they sent me a check I never got.
Easy enough to use and gives me the features I need. I have zero issues or complaints with this app and it def makes managing my account and paying my bill much easier. I'm sure there are better cheaper car insurance companies out there but I love my coverage and plan with State Farm and will be sticking with them for the long haul.
User friendly! Easy to navigate. Hopefully, more efficient than calling "my local agent" Worked great during COVID peaks! General app areas are great: policies, coverage, bill pay, etc. In the claims section: Uploading docs/pix for claims is a bit cumbersome. If you go back into that section at a later date to review what you sent, it is hard to find or confirm those docs or pix for some reason.
This App isn't user friendly. I switched from Progressive to State Farm and while I saved $ the App is very disappointing. Progressive App was very simple & easy to navigate to find any details about my policy. Reading the reviews I can see others have issues too. For a company as big as State Farm you'd think they'd invest in better the Apps performance
Ppl were great, app 👎. Took over 3 hours for roadside assistance. I put the request in at 11:37pm on the app, and didn't hear anything. I called around 12:30 to see what was going on, and they hadn't even assigned or reached out to any tow companies. We were quoted 45 minutes at 1:07am, but weren't picked up until almost 3am. Basically the app was completely useless because I had to call 3 times anyway, and even though they had the ticket at 11:37 no steps were taken until after I called.
Annoying waste of time. Drive safe Repeatedly fails even after reinstall. Shows beacon fails to record. App DIFFICULT to navigate,poor feedback response. Depletes phone battery at ridiculous rate. I see no future in this app.
Every. Single. Time! That I use this app or the drive safe app I have to reset my password. Don't try to convince me I'm putting it in wrong I took a screenshot I know I have it right. I'm done with State Farm thirty-some years I'm shopping elsewhere this is the technology Age Technology needs to work.
This app is convenient overall. The claim tracking needs work. Once it got to the estimation phase, instead of showing that I had an estimate that was being evaluated, it said that it was scheduled for repairs. Once it was evaluated as a total loss, it wasn't reflected anywhere in the app, instead it showed that the repairs were expected to be completed on the date it was declared to be totalled. It also need to be easier to provide feedback on the app directly.
keeps switching back to and from drive and save instead of letting me pay bill???? Edit = Clicked back several times and found "Pay Bill" link now working. Was possible that google play was intervening, wanting me to update the app. After update and reboot all works ok now. Changing to 4 stars, still needs better visuals to fit on small screens with less accurate touch response.
Absolutely love State Farm & everyone is always very friendly. My agent is always there if I need to get information or need anything.The only thing wrong which isn't there fault is the road side service takes a very long time & I know there super busy & sometimes short staff for the toe service. Hopefully I won't need road side service any time soon
Links in documents don't work. Agent need to send text message to upload pictures even pictures have been loaded during claim setup. App after licking screen does not remember what was entered/pictures selected so you have to start allover. This should be tested by developers and state farm team not end user. I feel like am part of development team catching bugs and working for state farm for free.
Their app is easy to use, and it's very convenient. It saves so much time, and you can track your service.Very happy with State Farm! Customer service was phenomenal!
Works sometimes. Other times, it won't show various information for no apparent reason. One or all of your vehicle policies will be missing, or other things you need just won't be there. The widget that comes with the app fails often too. Then again, State Farm's website is also unreliable, and on it the following is constantly displayed when clicking links: "Unable to Continue The system is experiencing technical difficulties at this time. Please try back at a later time."
Rates vary all the time. "Rates because increase because of other poor drivers", not my problem, charge them more & not me. Drive Safe program ID a huge nuisance. Tracker is constantly not working and after being with a agency for more than 5 years you think that would be more than enough to know a driving record.
Does not work needs to be overhauled. You can't check in for mileage. It's always locking you out. Best to just call your agent...
Not put together very well. It used to be good. Don't get why update stuff that doesn't need it. Logout is difficult to find. Pay bill is difficult. Used to be very easy.
I love using state farm they are a great company that will work with you. The app is really easy to use and if you have questions they will help over the phone really professionally and easy.
Ever since they updated this app during the pandemic, I have not been able to my pay bill. There is never a bill available.
As soon as I filed a claim I received 4 spam/scam text messages and a few more phone calls all asking about my accident. Coincidence? I highly doubt it. This rating is for the app only. My agent is excellent!
Was very upfront about just recently getting my license and the agent supposedly set my insurance so it seemed i got my license at 17. I got my license in December and i stated that multiple times. Policy went from $250 something all the way to $338 for just my minivan. Agent said if i didn't like their prices i should switch so that's exactly what I'll do. Awful service that they'll charge you out your ears for.
Putting in my 1st claim for renter's insurance is beinsurance has been nothing but easy. I didn't realize how easy it would be and how well everything was going to be taken care of it just is awesome to know that insurance company has my back for once. Thank you State Farm
Overall, I really like this app. Works as advertised for almost everything. Most of the features work great, but the "status update" never works when you submit a request for towing. I hope they fix this issue soon.
Horrible design. The app constantly interferes with my Bluetooth and wifi connections in my vehicles. Makes other devices disconnect and reconnect over and over. I know the app is the cause since my phone doesn't do this if I'm not near the beacon, only when I'm in or around my vehicles.
This app really sucks. Don't use it. Everytime I log in to pay my bill, the app will tell me that the bill was paid in full which it has not. I have to make a trip to the insurance company to pay my bill. I tried to do the same thing on my laptop, same results. State farm needs to fix it.
Easy to use website & app and they did an AMAZING JOB "saving my bacon" when i was stranded last week... I got the tow truck started on the app and the ins. agent ordered me a Lyft home, free of charge! They then followed up more than once afterwards to make sure all went smoothly... VERY IMPRESSED!!!
I despise every experienced I've had with State farm. I will warn everyone away from them if for no other reason than how they treat anyone filing a claim against them. All of their automated systems are garbage including this app. It will conveniently log you out or forget your phone number is attached to a claim.
I wish I could be informed of the special offers, discounts, AND other perks that come with using this app but ultimately I give state farm a thumbs up! I could have saved money a long time ago
I gave 3 stars, because I haven't had to use this app for anything except to pay the bill and pull up digital insurance cards. The annoying problem I have is that it use to give me the choice to logout. Now I have to login each time I use the app and it doesn't give you the "keep me logged in" option anymore. When you have 10 month old twins and 4 year old granddaughter visiting for a week you don't have time for that. Please put that option back on the app. It's more convenient.
