Absolutely gobsmacked and mind completely blown at how absolutely amazing this app is. Bravo Stingray this is the most amazing app for music by far. Looking forward to future versions and or features! I even love the tiny amount of adds you're playing! Keep that as is please! This is the best music app. I love using it in my car with Android Auto. But I'm only giving 4 stars because it's not available for my Fire TV. PLEASE make this available for Fire TV.
just opened the app. seems to have a very good selection of music. have not used enough to make any further comments on its overall performance. will revisit this review once some time is spent using it. right now 4 stars for overall selection and ease of saving songs.
Great expansion to the choices on Stingray's satellite TV selection, and very pleased that this is covered by our satellite package. I would suggest the display include actual time of each tune, rather than just a blue progress bar.
I enjoy this app. Good selection of genres to choose from. The same ad over and over can be a little annoying, but otherwise a great app.
Has the soft flowing music I desire at the touch of a button. Certainly sets my mood to a different space and time. Luv it heaps!!

Very user-friendly app. A very interesting combination of features that position it in my view halfway between Sirius XM and Spotify... less hassle than the latter and more choices than the former.
Great app for music. Many genres and years for music available but the dancehall (not reggae) selections are limited and sometimes the music just stops randomly.
really good music. sound quality really good for radio app. I've tried radio music apps in the past,and been disappointed wit sound quality on most streaming internet radio apps. but not here. spot on sound, and music stations. especially the 80s music stations, and the easy listening stations. spot on who made this app. and the people who may have helped.
Ok i love it. But the fact that it goes wonky and doesnt let me skip, pause, etc. When trying to use it in the background is irritating. Especially using it on bluetooth in the car. Dont get me wrong i love for the fact that i RARELY hear the same songs, which is amazing. But i gotta do two stars since i can barely use it in the background.
I like the app overall and the music selections/station are very good however it seems some NOT ALL yet some of the music needs to be leveled up and/or down. In other words, volume leveling. For instance while listening to the 'Hits from 1992" some of the music is well below the majority causing one to gave to go back and forth with my remote of having to increase the volume. Fix that and I would resubscribe. Heads and tails ABOVE my current SiriusXM.
It's a pretty cool app. Has good music variety. Plus it has good electronic music 🎶

Since I know Stingray, I consider the best app for streaming music. However, with the last update, it got a little bit slow. Now when a song finishes, the app gets stuck loading the next one. So I have to check the app constantly to keep playing the music. Before this update, everything were working so fine. So please, fix that issues. Thanks a lot.
I enjoy this app and use it all the time. Two observations, though; I mention them because they are most annoying...one is that it arbitrarily stops for no reason...it happens way too often. Is it the Bluetooth connection? The second...why do I have to reboot the whole thing every 180 days? Seems redundant to me... once it's setup, shouldn't that be it? I haven't moved to the ISS, changed my name or switched cable companies! I would still rate it a 5...the music selection is great.
LOVE IT! Skip! Skip! Skip! I was blown away when the app didn't stop me after 6 skips. Now if a station isn't the one, I can always go check out another - but not because I have to! Makes me want to keep subscribing to Stingray at home so I'll have it here too. HOWEVER, I was searching for a favorite artist, and the app was offering stations and artists with multiple variations of similarly lettered names. No, I spelled it right. The app is cluttering the results with unwanted info.
I'm more interested in a full subscription service, but as far as less-expensive radio apps go, I'd put this above Pandora and maybe on an equal footing with Slacker. I like how you can use the "dial" to go from one station to other similar ones. And I tend to believe their claim that the music is picked by humans, not robots. The audio quality leaves me underwhelmed on good headphones, but it's fine in a car or as background music.
I primarily use this app as an alarm to wake me up in the morning. Sometimes it works, but most of the time it doesn't. There is a lot of lag when searching stations even on the maximum output setting. There's often an error message saying connection lost which is annoying... it's an ok app when it works... Update: I uninstalled the app and I reinstalled the app and it still did not work. I uninstalled the app for good. I believe it was incompatible with my phone.
Repeatative ads! I used to love using the app but they have added in a Stingray ad/notification every three songs. This is very annoying when listening and even more frustrating if you want to skip songs and have to hear it repeatedly. I don't see the need for this for a user running the app for personal use. We are aware of what app we are listening to. For now, I will switch to a different source for my music. It is too repeatative and annoying.
I'm really enjoying this app. I received it as part of my mobile phone carrier perks. The stations have all been great. I'm enjoying the variety and ad-free streaming. I can't say i've never heard the same song twice, but 1) it does not happen often and 2) i've only heard songs i like again. Take the time to hit the heart or no thank you icon every few songs or so. It does help make the experience better.
It appears to be hit and miss when selecting stations. My local station (100.3) will play 2-3 songs and stops. 100.7 appears to run without the same problem. Your Most Popular (Rhythm & Blues, Classic Rock) appear to run without interruptions. This is more of an aggravation than anything else as I want to use my local station, but still the playlists are are very good. I take back my comment about Most Popular. Classic Rock stopped for no reason. I deleted my app and will review it again to see if there is more stability.
What's up with this app??? In the course of an hour the app would lose its connection and the music stops at least 2-3 times. I would have to press Stop then Play again and USUALLY it would resume. I thought it was my phone but it happens on my other devices as well, it doesn't matter if it's Wi-Fi or data I'm using. Annoying at first but the party I had was seriously compromised. This has been happening for the last several weeks. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?!?!
Overall happy with the app and Stingray. Music selection is really good. I'd love if Stingray have one the ability to make playlist. As far as the apps Bluetooth connectivity, I believe there's a bug of some sort. As soon as I start the ignition in my car the app kicks in and depending on how loud I had the stereo the night before, it will blast music when I'm still half asleep. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times, I've played with the autostart toggle.....nothing seems to fix this problem. I even emailed the company to notify them of this bug but received no solution. I'm using the app on an S5. Hope to fix this then I'd give th e app 5*.
I just downloaded this app yesterday and I have to say this is by far the best free music app I've experienced. The ads are short and not to frequent. Also the app runs smoothly with no freeze ups, plus it doesn't drain the battery too much. The choices are unlimited. You guys weren't lying when you said you have thousands of music channels in the description. No matter what style of music y'all like, there's something for everyone. Thank you Stingray for an excellent music experience. 🙂
Wide selection of channels is great. Sound is good. Sometimes sound will stop for a few seconds then kick back in, usually though just when I'm on the edge of wifi. Wish it would work with Google Assistant so I could just tell my speaker to play from this app.
