Straight Talk Transfer Wizard

Though the process appears simple the only thing I could transfer between my phones was contact information and it duplicated some of that. Would not transfer the majority of my pictures (only had about 25 but they were important to me) and it would not transfer my messages. Got to 4% and just stayed there for hours. Losing texted photos of my great-nieces. Not a good program for transferring important content between devices!!

Worst app ever for data transfer. Would even try reading the qr code. Finally downloaded a different app and had no issues Even worse than a app that doesnt work, the emailed response from straighttalk on this issue included a link to a "chat window" which doesnt exist as well as a email address that also doesnt work. I'm sure they were hoping I wouldnt try the options they sent for "PRETENDING" to care about fixing the problem and giving you help. It's insulting they would do this. AVOID THIS APP AT ALL COSTS!

Nothing transferred. Said it was retrieving content list, after a while it said it lost wifi connection. Big disappointment. UPDATE: Went to link a few times. Was told to keep on trying. Another time was told to use a 3rd party app. Also asked how to copy a vcf file to new phone; was told it's not our app. I finally figured out how to move contacts to new phone. I think old phone had a defect that prevented transfer of data.

This app rocks!! I literally had bought a new phone finally after 3+ years but I was hesitant on transferring phones cuz I didnt want to not be able to transfer my pictures and contacts. So I decided to look up phone transfers and seen this straight talk wizard transfer app and downloaded it it and finally after about 4 days of being hesitant I decided to give it shot and try it and honestly it was so fast and so easy to use and it really did work with transferring literally everything!!

This app saved my sanity. I tried for hours to use the phone makers proprietary data transfer apps with no succesd. Then I found this and it was easy to install simple to use and absolutely made transferring data to my new phone as easy as possible. I'm so glad I found and used because it stopped me from throwing my laptop across the room. So if you need to make an information recovery disc or just transfer everthing or just a few files this is the the app to use.

Was super excited that ST made it easy to transfer my old messages. It did transfer them however it messed a bunch of them up and separated them from each other creating multiple "conversations" that consisted of just my replies or a bunch of multi-media messages. So two stars for effortlessly transferring the messages and that's about it.

I've used this twice before with other phones but this last one was horrible. Did not transfer over everything, especially contacts. I lost over 30 and had to manually enter them in using my old phone for reference. The contacts that it did transfer, most of those lost the addresses and notes I entered. Now I'm in the process of manually entering those in as well.

Cannot get into my account. It is impossible. This has to be the worse app l have ever seen or attempted to use. I spent over (seriously) 5 hours trying to get this fixed with tech support. App does not match the web site data. App allows me to log in via old email address, but not the new one. Web site allows me to log into neither. In addition, over 1113 reward point are now lost as they can not be converted over to corrected new email address. What a zoo. Minus 10 rating. Do not use ever!

Tried many times in the last 10 hours to get it to work for me but no success. Kept saying that both of my phones aren't connected to wifi-- but they are. I love Straight Talk and wish this had worked for me. Could be my phones aren't compatible or maybe they are just stubborn. .. On to the next possibility...👣👣👣 :)

Bought a Straight Talk phone to replace my other w/cracked screen - & you want me to read a QR code off its psychotic flickering screen just to do a data transfer? Whatever became of simply clicking options to do a task? Not to mention the option to choose just what you'd like transferred vs the entire phone? Straight Talk chat was very helpful on # transfer, but this is a big fail if you can't read QR codes

Terrible, app did not work. I had to use the phone manufacturer's app to transfer successfully. Straight Talk's customer service is the worst ever, something that should take 10 minutes takes 4 hours and multiple disconnects!

Worked well, just a few clicks and got my pictures, video's, audio and past message history. I know there are a lot of bad review, so I wanted to give it an appropriate rating for my experience.

my experience was crappy at best. First it kept saying I'm not connected to wifi but I was. So I left my home to go to McDonald's and use their wifi. However it still said I wasn't connected and it didn't transfer all my files pics and videos. I'm very upset. pics of my grandchildren and children. holidays. I would of attempted to use smart switch by Samsung but thought I should use straight talks transfer app. I've been a straight talk customer since the beginning when it was family mobile

Useless between my 2 straight talk phones. Only shows retrieving content list then says connection lost and to restart on both devices. Did this several times as well as uninstalls and reinstalls – got 0% done just doesn’t work!

Maddening. Didn't work. Not even a little bit. Attempted it multiple times. I've used transfer apps in the past - never had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING transfer.

Transferred sms messages but I still don't know how to save contacts or sms pictures onto the SIM card. Applications we're not transferred but it did provide a list with links to the Google play store. That's helpful.🤗

This app keeps crashing everytime I try to open it,keyword is TRY Edit: tried using this app again on a iPhone se 2020 and note 9....... cannot stress this enough this app is straight trash!!!! Pls remove it from both app stores since they don't even work WHEN THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO WORK

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S20+ for Straight Talk. Need to transfer Straight ztalk Service from my Samsung J Crown Phone. After paying full price for the S30+... I asked about help transferring my service to new phone. I was told good luck. Andvjanded my phone and receipt for $1399 + tax. They said they could not help at all.they were allowed only to help verizon, sprint and AT&T. They were no paid to help with Straight Talk. I have been unable to reach help at Straight Talk.

says files transferred, but no phone or message files appear anywhere in the phone or messaging apps... I found some files that were transferred but they are not incorporated in a usable way... transferred from galaxy j3 luna pro to a galaxy j3 orbit. hmmmpf!

I'm not sure what transferred but I still have no contacts, my data, nothing. I had to call straight talk to get my number back. Very frustrating!

This app worked fantastic for me. The only that did not transfer over was my calender because of security reasons. That is no big deal though, I can always transfer my calender later. Loved this app!!!!

this app tells me my new phone isnt connected to wi-fi, but it is. i turned off my data, am connected to wifi, and it doesnt recognize it. my old, crappy phone on the otherhand, is connected and good to go. what gives? ive uninstalled and reinstalled, used different wifis. nothing! HELP

seriously upset... all i did was transfer my phone to a new phone and you DELETED my account... took away ALL my REWARD POINTS as well as my preferred customer discount.... when i finally managed to login briefly it was as if i didn't exist!

Doesn't work. Says connection lost restart on both phones. Tried that a dozen times over hours if time and never worked once.

my phone that was supposed to arrive in 2 days took 16 days. I was too busy to do "stuff" with the new phone until after 11pm... I WAS TIRED. The Straighttalk gal told me to load the app on both phones...Easy-peasy to follow the directions. If a 69yr old can do it...YOU CAN TOO.

I'm really sketchy about these kind of apps that anyone in the world can take all the data stored in your phone. This can happen if you are on your phone to your carrier in the Philippines. All this amounts to is a "gentleman's agreement" that the customer service rep is straight up with you or the rep doesn't know how to steal from you using this app.

Transfers messages all right but won't let me 'check' for contacts or photos. Just pops up with no check on it over and over. Very frustrating.
