Great for bible study. Update: I have been using this app for a while now. I have a collection of study bibles, but this app has become my go-to bible, because it's features such as study aids, and an excellent table of contents structure, makes it easy to find specific passages. Also, there are ads, but they are spread out so that they are not a distraction. Some others feed so many ads they are difficult to use. I highly recommend this app!
Just started using this app, and I love it. Very easy to navigate and figure things out without a lot of trial and error. Many versions and languages available. Put notes on verses. Look at cross references (this could be expanded, it is not very extensive, as far as I have used it). Reference Strongs. Easily highlight verses, words, or sentences in a variety of colors. Overall, just a wonderful app. Now if you could get it without ads, that would be nice.
I find this App to be incredible. I've downloaded and used well over twenty of them. I can honestly say it does everything I want. Even the night light (white text on a dark background ) is really a great idea. It has crashed a few times but It's okay when I restart the app. So I honestly don't mind. It may be a problem if it doesn't save anything I was working on I suppose. Really fabulous app
I have 3 Bibles downloaded on my home screen. Of the 3 this one is easiest to navigate. I use this Bible when in church because it is the fastest when it comes to finding a specific Chapter and Verse. A big plus is, it ASKS "are you in church or a prayer room." You answer Yes and it turns OFF THE ADS!! And they stay off for the length of a church service. You can choose from a rather long list of different versions. You can highlight in man colors One improvement: Make it a red letter edition.
I would give 5 🌟's but the ads are annoying. They pop up at the most inopportune times. Edit: Unfortunately I took it down to 3 stars bc I can never just search for a Scripture. When I click on the tab the Books are not there. I have to go to "fix common problems" every other day. Beyond annoying and it changes your settings so you have to reset some things...uuugh. Otherwise, awesome app.
The app seems unstable in all its ways. It stops working simply for switching between different features or operations. For example, if using Strong's Concordance and then wanting to review the scripture references, the app stops. If pausing the reading of KJV more than two times, the app stops. If moving from a reading plan to the first scripture reading for the day, pausing, then going back to the plan for the next scripture reading, it stops. Apart from this annoyance, I like the app.
Works fairly well. The newest version doesn't list Bible Tramslations in alphabetical order or language groups, so I am having a hard time downloading them on my new phone. But rhe Bible and Concordance work very well, and the note taking and highlighting options are very easy to use. I like making subject categories and saving passages in them.
I like to play the bible to go to sleep. I lock my screen & lay it on my shoulder, but it'll only play a few chapters then it stops itself, wish it didn't. I do no like how the box always comes up asking if in a prayer room or church... It takes a bit for this box to go down so I must wait to do anything. This is annoying when in the middle of something. Or when the player stops & U have to go back into the program to restart, otherwise the shortcut on top of page allows me to play. Mostly 💜
I am SO VERY SATISFIED with this app!! It has all of features that I need in order to do in-depth study of Scriptures. I love the fact there there are many foreign language Bibles available. Also, I really appreciate the fact that I can highlight only the part of a scripture that I want to emphasize (Many other Bible apps only allow the highlighting of the entire scripture.). I work offline. So I cannot say anything about adds. The app is just perfect. A variety of bibles are available for download. You can choose. Strong concordance (refers to KJV) is integrated. And it has many features. Also is Audio for KJV available for download. You can choose which audio book you want to download. The app is clear and overseeable, easy and simple to operate. And everythink just works. It is a perfect app for bible studings. Thank You.
Great useful app, but loud ads not okay for church: When I select a different view while following along with the pastor in church, video ads will automatically kick in--rather loudly! I like the functionality better than most of my other Bible apps, but I simply can't afford to use this one in church anymore. Will have to find another one with original language capabilities.
Best bible app I've used. Able to turn off ads temporarily if you can't have loud sounds where you are, full Strong's concordance, search feature with filters, highlighter, themes, etc. Two stars taken for two different reasons: 1-sometimes crashes unexpectedly 2-cannot download other translations or fonts. Appears to do it, but it doesn't actually download anything
Wow! Ejigu, you've done an amazing job! It's ingenious. God bless you. It's so convenient for both casual bible reading/listening and serious research. Also good for bible study. My only suggestion for improvement is to, if possible, include the ability to view or toggle 2 different bible pages on screen.
This have proved to be the best of the several Bibles in Android software I have ever used. Easy to get what you want. Need not to search for cross reference for its already there. Have many languages which makes it cover for another app to cover your language. Yet there is need of improvement on the audio to connect and go along with the written. Moreover the audio must cover all languages covered.
I tried to back up my work by emailing a copy of the zip file to save my highlights and comments. I ended up losing work after when trying to backup/restore the next day and the only option is the backup and restore from previous night. Lots of work lost but I have the file I need which I'm unable to open or import into Holy Bible app. Is this file usable or is it useless garbage?
The best bible app I have ever use. More than one year I have used this app without disappointment. Many versions, strong, bible study and lots more. I love it. I will advise that the note section should be better for pulpit message to be written down. The note should programmed with the Bible in such that the bible verses can be highlighted for easy access to the scripture with a tap on the highlighted bible verse. This is easier for us when preaching on the pulpit.
Awesome app, really love the layout of everything. I wish there was a payed version te remove the adds. I do use the prayer room setting (which removes the adds for that session in the app) , but the problem is that I'm always using this when I'm spending time with God, and don't want the destractions of adds, even when I'm not in my prayer room.
Very lovely. I love everything about this app; from the theme settings, the bible itself, cross referencing, to even the strong concordance, just to name a few. Don't forget it has other downloadable versions although currently I'm using just the KJV. To cap it all, it has a low storage space of 30Mb which is quite commendable for an app of this quality and load. I give you thumb up👍👍👍👍👍.
Concordance is hard to use (if it is a concordance). App is very hard to use. Not easy close ( or no option to close?). I have come across spelling mistake. Not easy to navigate.
This is a really decent app. It does have an issue when accessing the cross reference button, it doesn't always open. I'd like to see them add a link in notes/hightlights where it links to the 2 together with a link to the scripture selected. All and all it's a good resource.
Best, smoothest Bible app Ive seen and Ive had a lot of them hoping that theyd have the features I want: concordance, multiple translations, even side by side comparison which I was completely stoked to find out I could do. I like this better than YouVersion, particularly for some deep syntopical study convenient on your phone. Seriously, if you really want to get into the Bible, like on the macroscopic level. (Read all plz)- Probs after recent update-not tried all features yet, but do NOT like pop-up questions if I'm in church etc.-my biz. Notes now a major pain- page bounces up & down a dozen lines while typing-SERIOUSLY FRUSTRATING, +won't allow extra line at bottom for more space above keyboard words bar. Also freezes up fairly often. **BUT the Strong's definitions, & ability to copy/paste them into other apps or texts, etc, quite useful. **The name of the developer has changed.
Very good app. A bit confusing at first on adding notes and topics, but I am getting there. A very good aid to stote favorite verses and organizing them by subjects, which you define. E z to look up verses, etc. I have begun to use it alot. I just gave one more star because I figured out the parts that I thought were confusing at first.
This app enables me to do just about everything I need -- multiple comparable versions; Strong's concordance with detailed explorative options; extensive notetaking capabilities for each verse, visible, expandable at a tap, able to be added to and edited; highlighting in 13 colours, able to be applied four times in each verse (would prefer the option of six), and a fifth option of highlighting the whole verse; choice of 12 reading plans (the first one suits me perfectly) and there is much more.
Great tools, wish there were more voice options, but that's an issue with all apps. Also wish I could play music while listening. Strong's concordance is essential and well implemented. Just began learning and understanding God, and the bible, and this is a great companion.
This is best Bible app available! I searched through the other ones, but this 1 has everything! I can sink into Bible studying. I used to pull out the concordance, the Bible in 4 forms to study. This offers 25+ Bibles to study. I can take notes, verses are cross referenced, and my notes are marked in the Bible. All I have to do is highlight a verse,put under my topics or I add notes to the verse. It has EVERYTHING & MORE!! I'm so blessed to have found this app!
It's King James version and the concordance is great super easy to use and saves so much time then compared to the actual book itself, I think it just might ever so slightly miss some details compared to the Strongs Concordance book, but for the most part it covers everything
Today(9/3/22) I am writing again to you guys to enable us to synchronise this app in different devices so I can have all my notes and highlights in all my devices handy at any time. Please developers do something. This app is priceless. A must have. However I am tired of ads, something must be done. How disappointing it is to encounter adverts when you are busy searching your scriptures. It is better you put a premium version so we can buy and do away with ads.
