Swiggy shows earlier delivery times but it actually takes more than double of estimated time. Showing actual expected delivery times for different restaurants helps us save time. Edit: Totally useless app. my order has to be cancelled as delivery partner cannot pickup another orders along with mine. He picked up mine but waiting at restaurant for others. Recently swiggy delivery is extremely delayed. Going to uninstall. Zomato is way better than swiggy.
The prices of the items listed on Swiggy are way higher than their actual prices at the restaurants. The app has quite a few glitches and there seems to be no cancel option available. The highlight is Swiggy customer service. The customer service agents don't even bother to read and understand the concern, but instead give some generic statements. Chatting with them is mostly a waste of time and energy.
The recent update has made it take longer to get to where you need. The home page has too many different sections now, possibly because Swiggy is providing more services, but it's too much to look at. And correct me if I'm wrong, but they've taken away the "cost for two" for each restaurant on the home page, which means we have to click into the restaurant to get that information. Seems a little devious to me. To sum up: more to tap, more distractions, more confusing, less enjoyable.
I have been a user for quite some time now. The service quality and experience has gone down. Some orders may show unserviceable even when they're showing you on the order screen. The quality of restaurants and rating are fudged, and don't always reflect quality food. App crashes are still an issue, even after a reinstall. And, the service is a glaring example of respect for timely delivery multiple times. (It's not the deliver person, who is late. But, the way you club multiple orders.)
Really a wonderful app. It is easy to use. The restaurants and dishes, are well organised, so that customers could easily choose from them. The customer support is also too good. Really liked it. Only drawback is that their offers wont cater to everyone. They should provide 'SWIGGYIT' as a common offer, other than providing offers on some credit cards.
Worst experience for browsing. When coming from a restaurant menu back to list page, entire page reloads again..so i have to start browsing from top again. Ideally when one presss back from a restaurant page, list page view port should be adjusted back to same position where i initially clicked. Many times this makes me quit app and order from Zomato
I used to love swiggy as everything used to be perfect for a while. I am now changing ny rating to 3 from the earlier 5 as these days it is not predictable whether the order will be delivered. There are multiple instances when the order was cancelled by the customer service after waiting for more than 2 hours. The prices of the items listed in the app are way higher than the original prices at the shop, a reasonable margin here would be great too.
The latest update misses the mark the same way Microsoft unnecessarily updated windows 7 to 10. It is glitchy, far too many of the restaurants aren't available, the UI is stupidly complicated - esp for elderly users who had grown somewhat comfortable using the app. Like, this is not a Marvel movie - it does not need to be flashy and full of surprises. I doubt I'll be using the app unless I have no other choice, esp since there's always Maggi if I'm hungry. Or unless this update is rolled back.
Swiggy is trying it's best to make sure that it goes out of business as soon as possible. Swiggy was my preferred food delivery app up until last one year. I have started facing numerous issues with Swiggy. 1. The app UI has gone worse. 2. My account is temporarily suspended from last 6 months. 3. They shut down services of Supr Daily app in my city. 4. I am unable to login to my app from last 1 month.
Absolute worst. I have been a loyal customer of Swiggy for a very long time. Almost 3 orders every day. Past week, my 3 orders were cancelled. The coupon that I applied, was lost. And also, they charge double the delivery fee. It takes almost 20-25 Rs. for 6 kilometres on a motor bike. They charge 50 (checked with delivery boy and he said he got only 20). They deduct coupon amount and add more tax to adjust the final price.
Extremely unreliable platform. Do not depend on ordering the food from this platform in case of any emergencies or hushed up situations. Poor coordination with the restaurants with minimum accountability wrt mistakes from their end. App itself experiences so much glitch that if by mistake you've placed your order and there are some issues with that, there's no way you can get back to it without waiting for an hour or so. And trust me, this is not the first time I'm using this platform.
Too expensive to use swiggy. Delivery charge packing charge service charge. What not you include and say it's cheaper. Plus the food that we order from Swiggy comes in less quantity and doesn't taste good. There are hardly any offers are given. If even there are any coupons applied they are smartly compensated in the form of service or delivery charge or packaging charge. Really don't prefer ordering from swiggy. Would prefer ordering from resturant directly.
Absolutely despise the new UI. It might look fancier but it is an accessibility nightmare! Stuff is too big, fits way less on the screen, offers aren't as apparent and the floating menu button is wayyy too big. The last one sat at the bottom center and was out of the way while the new one is a circle to the right and sits basically where you'd put your finger to scroll and it becomes unusable once you have an item in the cart as it moves further up. Don't you guys test before releasing? Jeez!
Swiggy one is a complete scam. In the trial period they gave me lot of befits like free delivery etc. When I actually bought the subscription and tried to use free delivery, they told me that due to high traffic they are unable to accept my request. This has happened every single time since I bought swiggy one which entitles me to free delivery.
Worst app. While clicking the instamart previous orders it is giving error like "oops! Something's not right. Our best minds are on it. You may retry or check back soon". I sent a email to their support also. But no one cares. It's almost 10 days. No one is respond. Really worst app, worst support and I will never use swiggy again.
Animations are now unusually longer. Remove all animations. Food ordering apps should feel snappy and fast with minimal animations. Animations just bog down the user. Edit: The dumb app, out of the blue, selected my old address for delivery for whatever reason. The order had to be canceled and I was charged the whole amount. I trusted the app to save my last selected address but not sure what made it set the old address. Won't be using the app for a few months. Hopefully they fix the issue.
The new update is very bad. Please bring back the previous one. Font size is too big, constant glitches. Offers are not highlighted in the search results, making it harder to use. The menu option is a very good change though,saves time and effort. Team Swiggy, please take this issue into consideration.
I had been enjoying to order food from swiggy untill the last order. Food was delivered very late. Food was not sealed. I could see less than half quantity of food was in the box. Which means that food was unsafe to consume. Swiggy was not ready to refund the amount paid for that order. More than money it's the way they handled it make me rethink about using swiggy again! Update after sending email to the suggested email id in resp. It is a total waste of time and energy to contact swiggy help.
I am swiggy one member but in last few days swiggy is not able to manage the orders, when you order something on instamart it shows up as 20-22 mins but takes atleast 40 mins to reach. This is the worst service received from the swiggy. The only good thing they had was super daily but they stopped operation for that. I am going to uninstall this app very disappointed with the service. Zomato is doing far better in delivery and from grocery anyone can surely use zepto, they are doing far better.
Instamart just says quick delivery but takes lot of time. Even when a delivery time is assigned they do not deliver at that time. I have experienced worst customer support. They do not have a phone support just chat support and they don't provide any resolution. Due to technical glitch they could not assign a agent and did not even inform me about it. I followed up for more than an hour and then they ask me to just cancel the order as there is technical glitch. Worst experience.
Used to like this app a lot. I bought swiggy one as well. But nowadays it's horrible. Every ETA is around an hour in my city and they don't assign delivery partner unless you call them to. Orders take way longer to deliver and they don't even have 'on time or free' guarantees like competition, so there's no incentive for them to get better either. They just lost a customer
Swiggy doesn't deliver on time. On top of it the customer support system is really bad. They made me wait for 2 hours and later cancelled the order at 10.30pm where I have left with no other restaurants to order. The order was prepaid and the refund was given two days later. They have given me a coupon as compensation which was a waste. There are other coupons which give better discount than the coupon they gave. Trust me Zomato is best in terms of delivery and customer support.
It's extremely helpful most times but they do have a few glitches. My orders have been cancelled many a times and have also recieved wrong orders on occasions. So, you can't really rely on the app a 💯 percent. Plus you don't really know if the shops listed on are roadside store or restaurants. Swiggy instamart too has issues, the team at times sends veggies that are bad in quality and you can't really do much about it.
Very poor delivery and followup service during the night. The app allowed me to order but with zero efficiency. Waited for 2 hrs and yet got my order cancelled without any source of connection with the new DP (the previous one had an issue). The calls don't connect, messaging service is inaccurate, ETA is displayed wrong. In my personal experience, the app needs to correspond to ongoing conditions whenever rather than trying to increase the screen time of their app. Giving 1 star due to refund.

I have been using swiggy for over 2 years regularly. But lately the customer service makes you hate them so much. I paid for an order (a substantial amount) which never got delivered to me. I raised the issue on chat multiple times they asked me to send a mail. When I sent a mail, they are just empathizing with me. I have spent a lot of time on follow ups, escalations. Just no resolution. Stopped using this app (this is just one of the bad experiences)
Regular payment problems, overpricing the delivery charges, the delivery partners aren't able to find the address despite me putting the address correctly on the map, plus most of the days, the delivery takes almost an hour despite me having to pay extra for delivery. Edit: They just keep getting worse and worse. For 2 days in a row, my order was declined because of some payment issue. But later, I receive a message from my bank saying that the amount was deducted anyways. 2 DAYS IN A ROW!!!
