Switch Mobile Transfer

Does exactly what it says. Moved everything (and I mean everything) from a Galaxy to a Pixel almost flawlessly. Even copied all my old text messages over. I'm not sure how that even worked given that they had two different phone numbers. I was impressed by how quick, clean, and simple the interface is. For an app to be this professional and also completely free with no ads, I'm thinking there's got to be some horrible catch, but can't find one.

This was incredibly fast, simple, and efficient. After trying and failing to use Google's back up and my computer to transfer phone files, I tried this app. I wish I tried it sooner. The only problem I had is on the phone I was transferring from, it told me that it had lost connection. So I restarted the app on both phones. Again, I got the same message. However, I noticed the new phone was still downloading stuff. So just ignore the message and let it do its thing if this happens.

I've used Switch twice to transfer info from one Android to another. It was a very simple process. I was very happy to have found it. I can't wait for someone to make an app that can move every single thing to the newer device. Advice: Make sure to use writing and note apps that can sync between devices, so you can easily preserve your important information. I really like Writer+, but I have to download the app to the new devicen then move each note, one by one, to the new phone.

Switch transfered all my photos and videos, however it didn't transfer my contacts and I had to use other means to do so, even though it told me all contacts were transferred. Also it doesn't transfer photos and videos by the original dates they were taken. So you will have to preorganized your photos into specified folders if you want them to be organized by the date they were taken. Besides this it took 30 mins-1hr for everything to transfer over (1000 plus items). The app served its purpose.

No nonsense data transfer for off-brand devices! My old device is a CAT S60. I tried at least 4 other data transfer apps that just wouldn't work with my old phone. This app transfers contacts, messages, call logs, pictures, videos, music, documents, and settings. The only slight annoyance are the full screen ads that may deceive users that aren't that saavy into thinking that the ad is part of the program. Other than that, it worked extremely well and quickly. Thanks!!!

I'm pretty sure the app would have worked better if I could have used it via wire transfer (wire was the issue NOT the app). Took longer than anticipated and the program sat at 1 second left at the end for several minutes. Moved my pics, videos, contacts, messages, and documents from my busted phone though, which makes it a win for me!

Indispensable. An absolute must when switching phones. It carries phones screen settings, all text messages, contacts, Apps, etc. It is worth all the gold in Fort Knox and then some. It does what your phone company carriers' staff can "not" do (well). And it does it all in such a timely fashion. My advice--don't have your carrier waste your valuable time. Install this App on both your new phone and existing phones and let the fun (transfer) begin. You will "not" be disappointed.

I'd used other apps, but not everything would transfer like my contacts & photo's which are necessary I think anyways. I tried this app and not only did everything transfer, but it did it inside of like 10 minutes and ALL of it got transferred this time with ZERO LEFT BEHIND!!! Easy to use interface. In fact it's so easy that a 1st grader can do it by themselves! Thanks for a great app!!!!! Andrea B.

Did exactly what it needed to. Transfered photos, texts, call log, and contacts. It disconnected once but we just turned it off and tried again. Showed it was only going to take 5 minutes to transfer everything but took about 30 minutes. I had a very small amount of items to tranfer.

Target employee downloaded Switch on my old and new phone. Told me quick how to transfer. Got home, plugged both phones into their chargers, opened the app, connected via wifi, followed the instructions and tranfered all my contacts, photos, videos, and documents. Surprisingly easy and fast. 6 1/2 years of phone information transferred in only 23 minutes.

Bottom line - pulls in some stuff but no promise that you will get everything you want off of your old phone. If you dot not have everything saved in Google somewhere (especially contacts) they will not transfer if they are just on your phone memory. I lost a lot of information since I traded in my old phone. NONE of my Apps transferred. Most of my photos/videos did but not all of them, pretty slow. Moved photos into odd categories by date not how I had them on my old phone, not they are all mixed up from where I had them. I reinstalled my Apps but lost all data/progress within the App so I have to start over on anything I have done in the past.

This app wirelessly transferred all my SMS messages and phone history from one Samsung phone to another. No Google dive, no cloud, no one drive. All I needed was for both devices to be on the network, and download and install the app on both devices. Couldn't have been easier or more perfect!

this has to be one of the best apps ever! I have now is 3 times and it's fantastic. it transfers what Google doesn't. text messages and lastly music, thanks Google play music that you have to pay for a subscription to use.. I highly recommend. one of the things I love is you can choose what you want transferred. be careful and don't disagree what transfers from the cloud, I highly recommend

Just what I was looking for. Quick transfer from my Samsung to my LG. Your able to transfer; Contacts, SMS msgs, Photos, Apps, Settings, Documents, Downloads, Call log, Videos, everything. All by simply scanning a provided QR code. This way you don't have to choose between Samsung or Lg's transferring app. This app was simple & complete, totally worth trying.

This app is absolutely fabulous!! It took a lot of time, but I was able to transfer old text messages from my old phone to my new phone and it did exactly what I wanted. I got every bit of the text messages without a problem! I definitely recommend Switch Mobile Transfer!!

Very easy to use, doesn't take a whole day. And it transfers everything right from your own secured home network. A must have app for anyone switching to a new phone and doesn't want to lose all their memories gathered from their last phone. Will use this app whenever I switch to a new device. Thanks to the team behind it!

Very Satisfied. After trying multiple apps that failed to transfer my sms and mms messages from Samsung to LG. This was the only app that could do it. Other app would fail to trasfer everything or have them all mixed up after finishing. Switch Mobile Transfer moved all the message over just as they were on my old phone.

This app is awesome! I've used it several times and it worked perfectly. You have options. Connect via cable or wifi. If your wifi drops you continue where you left off. Transfers ALL data EVERYTHING. IT'S EASY TO USE. THANKS MUCH for Free Awesome app.

Transfers almost everything from your old phone to the new one! Text messages, call log, pictures! Only issue was that it can't get around transferring contacts that are uploaded. It would have been perfect if it just could have transfered them.

Awesome app. Transferred 4gs of pictures and video. From an iPhone 6s to a Samsung A20! Yes!!!!!! It didn't give me the option to switch over my contacts, however I don't believe I was saving them to the apple device. Anyway, worked great. Fast, Easy, Free!!

Very efficient and extremely fast transfer! No problems at all even though I was transferring between different brands/models of phones. I was pleasantly surprised I was even able to transfer text messages and call logs in addition to my settings and my media.

Holy Cow! It's that good. After google-ing and fighting for hours and hours with Synch, Backup/Restore, Resets, etc. I luckily found this app. It was so easy, and it perfecly moved all of my Contacts, Call logs, and Messaging threads from my waaay outdatec Samsung Galaxy S4 (yep, that old) to my brand new Moto G7 (love it so far). It will also move photos and a bunch of other stuff which I didn't need to move (I simply moved the SD). Congrats on this app which is EASY and WORKS as advertised.

I tried, with Verizon, for a long time, to get my data transferred, to my new phone. I was totally frustrated. My brother installed this app, and, in no time at all, I had my pictures, and other data. Only thing that did not transfer were apps, but my personal things😊

I have used this app many times now, since I'm very hard on cell phones :--) I GO THROUGH A LOT OF THEM!! You will definitely need more than 10mins for a phone transfer. I would say it took onw hour for my extensive photos & file library. For the most part it transferred photos videos contacts messages etc quite well, AND it is quite thorough.
