I love this app, been using it for years. However, I stopped using it when exercises I wanted weren't on the app. This could be easily solved by allowing us to add custom exercises that just don't have videos or pictures or anything, just the reps or the timer to go along with the rest of the workout. Really crossing my fingers for this because I stopped using it altogether because of this
I love the concept (after the last NTC update) however it seems to be a beta version. The first time I used the app, it crashed 3 times in 2 minutes and I was unable to customize the workout. Canceling the subscription until the issues are fixed
After trying a lot of the workout apps out there this is by far the best and most complete of them all... Only down side is it doesn't work without an internet connection...
Love it so far, I always have gone to the fancy personalized gyms led by a trainer where they hardly use any machines or equipment and thought I can do this at home. But I knew I would never because I don't know the exercises. Cost me hundreds of dollars a month. Now I've started this and it's the same exercises I break the same sweat. Except it's easier because I don't have to get in my car on a cold morning or expend a 20 minute drive each way.
I've been using Sworkit for years. Personally, I think the subscription is worth the cost because it is so much cheaper than a gym membership. You get to choose from three programs based on your goals, fitter, stronger, and leaner and they have different difficulties. They also have different exorcises outside of the set programs. I like how they include warm ups, that you can choose how long to do a set of exercises for, and that they account for the time it takes to change between exercises.
I love this app. It has a good music feature in app but yoy can also workout to whatever app you use for music, I use Soundcloud and the music lowers enough to hear the next instructions. There's a great variety of workouts and new ones the pop up too. I like that I can switch from squat specific to slower less aggressive e workouts. I also enjoy the workout notifications!
I have struggled to find an app or workout plan that I can stay dedicated to because I am a full time working mom with two toddlers, one of which has behavioral issues. I also used to workout all the time and was an avid runner/hiker until I had my kiddos. So I used to try to pick up where I left off and got discouraged. This app asked quick questions and suggested a workout plan that set me up for success! I also love that I can choose the time I can dedicate to a workout vs the workout telling
I love Sworkit! I have been working with the yoga everyday and I really enjoy. I find I am wanting to do the workouts everyday! I do wish there was some rebounding exercises.
I use this application since spring 2015. I was one of the first users to get a lifetime premium account (free) for my years of loyalty. I really like Sworkit!! 😇😊
I've been using Sworkit for a few years now and it's been consistently my favorite workout app. Tons of variety and consistently adding more workouts.
Perfect for my rotation- no equipment, do anywhere, choose how much time you have, lots of focus options.
Great workouts. Each one challenges me. The ability to set the time of the workouts eliminates my excuses. I'm glad I started before the new year. Making it more likely I will keep up with throughout 2022. Let's Go!!
The exercises are updated every time which makes this app more useful. I use sworkit when I think about going to the gym.
Fanstatic app! They have so many options for workouts and you can tailor them for your needs. Easy to use and stretches and excercises are well explained.
Nice interface, large workout catalog. I've have a few issues but they've always been resolved quickly. I would like better dark mode support, though.
Great variety for all fitness levels. Workout choices are expansive from recovery stage to athletic exercises. Blogs are are helpful. Please continue this app forever!
Helps you organize dailh workouts, adjusting any routine to the desired level of difficulty and duration. Great variety of programs and individual exercise. Loving it!!!
Huge variety of workouts and stretches in convenient categories. The descriptions and videos are clear and helpful especially for the beginner who needs a place to start. You can change the timing on the workoutsand intervals including the time in between each position to give you enough time to move and not feel rushed or behind. You can also log your own workouts. ex: walking and choose music on the app.
After several years of not working out. Getting to know sworkit has been amazing. As an avid workout person i once used to be,i know what's important in workouts, technique, sequence, breaks, & many others.Sworkit covers these aspects perfectly and also gives you the flexibility of anything out in your time and challenging against yourself for motivation. People involved in creating this app has built it wholesome taking care of various aspects. Couch to fitness & Postnatal exercise: fav so far
Fantastic. Great price, so many different types of workouts for so many different things! You want a quick hit of cardio? Sorted. Don't want to wake the baby? Sorted. Want to make your own workout? Sorted. I've been using this for months and I won't be looking back.
I always found the app to be pretty good, a good mix of workouts. The fee structure is rather jarring and not justified, especially for someone who uses it sporadically like myself. This has happened before and I went away for months and came back when I notice the free basic option was accessible again. And once again the paywall is up again. Oh well, off to find another option.
I am still in the thirty day trial period, and unsure whether or not I will keep it in after this is done. First, I'd not mind having a few free trial workouts to look at before deciding if you wanted to subscribe to unlock the rest, but I absolutely hate the mandatory free trial sign up that will continue unless you cancel before you can try anything. Now, I have quite liked most of what I've tried, and there is good variety, as well as a nice selection of focused workouts and customization. That being said, the yoga was dreadful. The routine itself was fine, but the lack of regularity in the cues forced me to keep looking down to check my phone and see if time was up and I was supposed to be doing something else. Cues have been great for everything else, so no idea how they dropped the ball so badly on this one. All in all, well worth a try, but know that you will be forced to sign up for the renewing trial to test it out.
I've loved this app since 2013, until this "mini- makeover" on Dec. 22. First, they did away with the voice cue I liked. Second, the audio cues now interfere with my music as I work out, and that is extremely annoying. Third, the rest periods I set between every 5 exercises are not working, which messes up my custom routine. Fourth, there's been no response to my messages for support. This used to be a terrific app! Give me an option to go back to the old version, I am VERY unhappy! 😡
Frankly I am disappointed. The whole “customize your training – click and drag exercises – choose the duration” thing seems to randomize everything. If there were a concept behind the programme, it would make much more sense to me to have different options for different durations, as in “this training will last 25 minutes, if you only have 12 we recommend that instead” or “skip those exercises”. Now it seems that it doesn't matter how many times you'll repeat an exercise or where you'll stop!
I've been using the app for a year and everything was fine. But recently it keeps stopping after a few minutes of workout, very frustrating. Update 09/24: i tried reinstalling and clearing the cache but it still randomly stops, although it seems less frequent. 3 stars because i believe the dev are working on it.
