I like the idea but!!!!! I've done this with multiple phones, I have a lot of music albums downloaded to the phone, I try to keep all of them on the SD card when I can find them which is a problem in itself but every time I've used this I lose maybe half to 3/4 of the music I have, I've tried to copy them to the computer then back to the phone, find to the computer not using this app but phones always a hassle to get them to transfer back. Pics, 2 of each 1 SD one phone, constant hassle.
First, there is no meter nor counter indicating what and how much data has been, if any, transferred from one device to the other. Secondly, the only indicators that anything at all is happening is, some animated graphic dancing around your screens and a blurb that states: "8 seconds to go" or some other low number (seconds), but it runs for hours. The big problem, is after sitting there waiting for hours, you end up with nothing and someone; or something, has had access to your devices.
@tmobile Previous version Stated that it would back up messages and call logs to the cloud..... No go! T-Mobile has no clue about this program, much less any support. According to their tech support "management" ....... They could not even find this app.... Who du thunk? A complete joke! Spend your time elsewhere, and confirm your info is truly being backed up
Very smart and extremely easy to use. I was able to use this to transfer all data from my old HTC to a new Samsung Galaxy Note9 with no problem at all. Thank you.
Has not always cooperated in the past, but worked perfectly for most recent transfer. By far the easiest phone transfer so far.
Twice the transfer seemed frozen at the last 3 and 4 seconds. I left the transfer running for 3 hours and it still wasn't finished.
Failed to transfer half the stuff first time around. 3 hours to transfer 30K texts the second time, then all contacts went missing afterwards. Do not recommend.
Not a single problem simply follow instructions and boom no issues. And I transferred from a T-Mobile phone to a non T-Mobile issued phone so good app.
Great app! Have used multiple times myself and downloaded for other folks. Great work around if you don't have a Samsung to do the simple Samsung Switch
some of my stuff didnt transfer over. kind of annoying losing texts and parts of convos. thankfully Google backs up my photos so I still have them all. I'd be pretty pissed if I didnt.
I don't actually use T-Mobile content transfer because Google handles all of that and T-Mobile now owns Sprint and Metro by T-Mobile so everything is in my hard drive not in the ether for someone to grab
Awful waste of time. Kept saying devices weren't connected and dropping wifi connection.
Didn't work. Got photos, not contacts or message archives. Not good. Uninstall.
Best transfer app Has always worked for me. Didnt have to be a tmobile phone either.
This is the amazing app don't waste your money to buy another transferring app just install this one. Thanks T-Mobile
continued to reset over and over again. never finished the job.
Doesn't do much if your content is on Google. Idiot at Tmobile store thought it did something else
it did not transfer events from my old calendar to my new calendar
Many Many Options Found what i was looking for ,keep up the good work Thank You👍👍👍👍👍
Transferred contacts to new iphone easily.
After 7 hours, only contacts were transferred. waste of time.
No option to transfer texts, which was all I wanted to transfer
fast and easy. games didn't come through though
T Mobile trip off. They have phone. Returned day they said after extending one day. Now put bad credit for over $400 and they have phone. Senior plan. Cheaters liars. Likely have it to their nephew. No internet connection with T Mobile. They lie.
Simple and Seamless
super easy to follow
it transfers all you need but not your apps
Would not use this app again. While it transferred over photos and emails and the phone call log, it only transferred over about half of the apps I had on my old phone. Most of my pics were on my SD card so it wasn't like there was photo overload. The transfer also kept getting interrupted because it kept dropping the Wi-Fi signal and had to start again. Took way too long to have only transferred over 1/2 the contents. Now I'll waste more time re installing the apps it didn't transfer.
