The reason I gave 3* because many times I order food and the meal isn't the same as the picture shows! Mostly lacking an item or two. Talabat should make it mandatory for the restaurants/cafe to prepare the meal just as it is in the picture.
you tap on restos and app does nothing at all. you can scroll up and down but you cant open up any place. sometimes search box doesnt light up too so you cant use it. even so doesnt work or allow you to tap on results as well. same goes for 30 aed time offers you tap on a deal it sends you back to previous result page doing nothing. who is QA ing this app ffs. Also you cant upload screenshots wth android.
Horrible app, customer service is very poor and unhelpful. The new UI is less user-friendly and there is no where to view or claim reward points and get vouchers. I will stop using the app until I see a positive change. Absolutely do not recommend.
Tricky, fishy. One moment it was showing some discounts, then I just check another restaurant for a bit when I return back it was gone. I even read the discount terms and it should still be active. I ask a friend and she said she experience it as well before. I had bad experience with one order before so I stopped ordering. Just now my friend told me they had some discounts so I tried again.
Their delivery duration are inaccurate (it was displayed 45 minutes, got it in more than 2 hours). I can't see the value of using their app or website over contacting the restaurant directly. They don't do quality control, they aren't not responsible for delivery (check disclaimer), they don't have customer service line that you can talk to. Overall, terrible service.
Good app. Restaurants are provided in my area. But I have a problem with the groceries. I have been receiving wrong items and I don't know why, mostly there are pictures of the items and I double check with the name and picture but still wrong items are delivered to me.
Still a fan and advocate of the service provided. Choice of foods, groceries and other products makes it appealing. Did have one issue that was resolved 24hrs later. My only complaint would be the socalled live chat in the app is unattended, and doesnt get responded to. One suggestion, a favorites folder or address book would be a good addition.
I just want to order and I keep getting "Restaurant does not allow mixing of promotion and coupons". I didn't even apply for any of them. Extremely slow and buggy app. Edit: Now claims "to pay drivers more" by adding service fees from our money, instead of actually paying them.
I've had multiple orders that went wrong. When you get a refund they don't pay back the delivery fee so your still not getting your money's worth back. This situation happens way more than it should. It's not the worst app but the people who run it don't care and only once did the customer service help. 😠 Might delete the app.
Your latest updates have a horrible user experience. I have to always open gps in order to go to next step. That's not smart at all. Most of the times, I order for my home while I am outside. Restore back the old logic. I already moved to other providers do the poor user experience
Customer service is not good. I have used this app a lot, but the 1 time i had a problem out of the multiple times ive used it, they did not do anything to resolve my issue. Edit: well after a few hours of this posting and 24 hours of the complaint they made a refund...
My order was messed up somehow for the second time. The first time, I waited 2 hours and didn't get the order, this time it's missing an item. Never ordering from on here again. Terrible experience and terrible customer service.
I placed an order, it took 2 hours and 30 mins to deliver. I contacted the customer service, they couldn't care less. The worst food delivery app, dont download this app not recommended at all. I have faced lots and lots of problems with my order.
Edit from 5 to 1 star: This food app was great until it wasn't! Delivery times are trash and inaccurate. Drivers are not trained for human contact and are rude! Customer service doesn't care at all! I switched to Careem even though the interface for that app is garbage! Still they have excellent delivery times and decent customer service! Talabat is pure trash of an app and customer service
It is almost impossible to reach customer service. It shows delivered when it hasnt. Wrong contact info with restraunts. Cannot use vouchers of discount. All in all i will never ever recommend this app to anyone. I wont use it even if I have to go get the food myself
Talabat charged my card AED30 more than the final amount that appeared on the payment page. YES THEY DID! They were having a discount that was applied on the payment page but I was charged full amount. Customer support keeps asking for proof as if I took a screenshot of the payment page just in case they overcharge. Disgrace!
Very bad service. They took the order for grocery and later in mid they canceled the order saying no delivery guy and when I asked for the refund in pay later. They said it will be adjusted by month end. Very unofficial customer care, no proper solution. I feel sorry for myself using such an app.
Used to be good, but they didn't resolve my problem and refund me. I used my card to complete an order and once the delivery guy arrived he asked to pay in cash even after I told them that I paid by my card but they didn't believe me and there was nothing to prove that through the app because it doesn't show the payment method that I used and it appears after a while and after I had to gave them cash. I contacted the support several times and they didn't resolve my issue. I stopped using the APP
Driver was needlessly very late. They acknowledged the delay and offered me a coupon but no matter how many times I try to claim the coupon the app gives me an error (strangely that's the only error in the app, could it be intentional?).
It was fine before. But now too much glitches and errors. Plus almost zero point to contact customer support if there is any. Changing to another app now.
The app recently failed to load the saved addresses & cards. Need to close & reopen the app many times (and sometimes still can't fetch these data) or redefine the address/card again (Then the data refreshed and old addresses/cards appeared). I think there are some issues while hitting the BE APIs from the app. You should enhance the caching mechanism of profiles on devices and add some retries to refresh the data in the background (in case of failures)
I have had the wrong order twice within the week and sent an email with pictures as they asked and they told me it was the correct order when you clearly can see its an incorrect product and old vegetables. It's so disappointing when in the past, they took pride in their work. What can I do with old vegetables... So disappointed.
They have an option called 'pick up' which never works. When I contacted Customer care they asked me to reinstall the app or use the website instead! It is impossible to speak to their customer care agents, you can only email! After multiple mails they told me pickup is not available in all restaurants. I was trying to place orders with restaurants which was listed under pickup in Talabat. They got exhausted of excuses and since then nobody cared to even respond to my mail.
This update was the worst thing you do all my saved address gone and when I save it again it won't save it so I have to write it again every time I make an order also the app front page switch between the old version and the new one then it's crashes so I help you fix this problem as soon as possible plz.
Worst application for ordering food Tried ordering pick-up from restaurant and at the end of checkout, the process would say"amount not consistent and goes back to the loading screen". Tried to contact the help team but yea sure, like as if they care. Switch to smiles or deliveroo platforms, so much better than this.
Great app. But lately there are SOOOO many pop up ads! Rate this, order that, this is on special etc etc. It takes ages before I can actually use the app and order because I have at least 4 to 5 pop ups first. Very annoying and puts me off. I dont want the option to rate the app snd my delivery service every single time I open it.
Very disappointed...same issue of master card discount as me tioned with other customers and nothing is solved ...and they just pretend that it is may be a personal issue ...but it is not ...although it has been a very good app for the last years but tecently I am experiencing problems with very weak team of customer service ...which were unprofessional at all ...with delay and no solution ..very disappointed...
Very bad experience, i place an oder and it's been like 1 hour and more but never receive my order it always say 2 minutes on the apps. i call the rider many times, never pick up my calls. And i call the cutomer service to help me resolves the issue but did not provide a good help. I won't order using this apps anymore.
It's alright, but for such a big and successful app, the experience is quite buggy. Hitting back when I'm on a restaurant page will make me exit the app entirely, which is very annoying. And recently, whenever I open up a grocery store page, it's always empty for some reason. I hope these bugs will be fixed soon. EDIT: The new UI update made things far worse. Now, I can't even select restaurants when I enter through the foods tab. It's been weeks since the update and it is still like this.
