TETRIS®

I love the latest remake, but the controls aren't suitable for such game, everytime I want a block to fall faster, it always ends up somewhere else because it went past the point where I want it to be, also, everytime I try to rotate a block, I end up making it fall. The other control(single touch or something) is pretty much unusable. To conclude, it's a solid game with a not so good controls, hope a on screen button control will be available in the future.

It's pretty difficult to mess up Tetris, but the controls on EA's attempt simply do not cut it. At the higher speeds it is not possible to swipe in time even if you look ahead. You have got to have some button controls. Beyond this, the pop-up ads are annoying, but reasonable compared to the developers standard. Also, the other modes seem like a nice addition. However, the control scheme really ruins the game for me, as well as forcing the user to sign in with third parties... TLDR: uninstalled.

Another remake for another classic game. This modern version gets me to reminisce the old days, loved how they turned it into something advance and provided high-quality graphics. Though the controls are little bit hard to use since we play it using our modern devices. But all in all, it's a big help to develop your logical thinking skills while having fun!

Not as good as the original game and too laggy in multiplayer. It freezes at the very points where the action speeds up, burying you under pieces before you can do anything. just keep it simple and stop making games so resource hungry, which will ultimately create demand for even faster internet and more powerful devices. I came to Tetris hoping for a lightweight simple classic game, not this fancy adfest.

In my opinion, the graphics is poor to these days (the main menu as well as the game itself) and I guess EA has resources to do it better. The game works well and smooth, but as the game from 1984, it could launch much faster (with this graphics). The next issue to say about: in this game, there is no possibility to mute game completely and this is pitiful in my view. Generally, this is the best TETRIS in the play store if you ask me, and yes it's only 2/5.

Classic childhood game with excellent color choices which are pleasing to the eyes along with the background music which was one thing I missed about playing the game. The game is still challenging but you are now able to let your opponents see your scores while you’re playing. The one touch control is also one feature I liked as it is easy and comfortable to use.

Very nice game, but a bit updated from the classic, controlls are easy, but it bugs me a bit that it has different zones on the screen, this has helped me sometimes thought. For stars because it requires a ether full signal to start or no signal, so you need to turn off mobile data to stat it. And the galaxy parts just doesn't make sense for me, I just don't bother.

The game itself is fine. It is Tetris. However, the shear frequency of ads often renders this game unplayable. It is amazing how EA managed to have so many ads for a simple game from the 80s. There is a reason why no one likes EA. Most of their ganes are bad, but the good ones (or the ones they purchase, such as Tetris) are filled with ads and microtransactions. It seems no other app offers the same game at a reasonable quality, therefore I am forced to use this version. I wish I could code.

Playing tetris would be easier on an old nokia. That's fine, the game is not suited for touchscreen. But the ADS! I'd expect that level of ads from a struggling indie studio. One ad constantly on the screen, ads between every level, and an offer to watch some extra for an extra life, how generous. I think to myself, what kind of scummy, disgusting excuse for a company would release this? Oh. EA. That explains things.

Always liked the game of Tetris and this game has captured the good aspects of it, but one thing I would say is why is it not possible to disable the games music it's so annoying and ruins the experience for me as I like to play my own music whilst playing it. I understand others may like it but for those who don't there should be an option which can disable the music. So can someone please make this an option.

I don't know what happened in between the time I last played and now when I launched the app. The ads have gotten worse. Now I only have press something in the menu and i get a video ad. I wanted to sign in again but I couldn't because there's was banner ad covering that area. Only when I restarted the app did it disappear but instead I was greeted by a video ad as soon as the app opened. Tone down the ads a bit.

The reason I'm not giving Five Stars is quite a simple, but annoying one. The fact that you are unable to turn off audio in the game, I have seen the option but even if I "turn it off" music still plays. If this is resolved I will happily give Five Stars. It's the only reason I uninstalled before because listening to it for around 40 minutes per game is incredibly annoying. Thank you.

**End of Match - 2019** Awesome game. Needs no wifi, only after you have installed it, you need to open it with wifi. Then, the controls are annoying, but after a day or 2 you will know them (slide is move, touch is rotate). The music can be turned off in Options > Music. There are 2 sliders for FX and Music Volume. The ads arent overloaded (anymore) and you will only get an ad every 4 to 9 games. Most of these comments are out of date, and dont give a correct review of it (anymore). (im out)👋

I play this game just for academic purposes but after playing it, i can't remove it from my phone. I always play every time that I'm free. It's easy to control the blocks because of the control features. I like the challenge in every level because every time you level up the blocks are falling down faster. For me this is the perfect Tetris game that i ever played.

Tetris is a great game that relies on precision and foresight. Unfortunately, the majority of the time you will have a finger over something important on the screen, and cannot be precise because of the swipe controls. Just put some buttons down the bottom in the classic style and this game would be so much more fun.

This is a nice game. It is good for developing cognitive functioning, but I think they should make a seperate score board/highscore list for the one-touch control because it is too easy to use that you just have to decide which ghost piece to tap and the block will be placed in a given position. It has good graphics though and you can choose between three modes.

honestly really good game have invested more time into it than what I would like to say. my high score is 2.68 million points so I play it quite a lot. one request I would like is I don't know if this is a bug or not but when I turn the music down in settings it doesn't actually change in game so can you fix that please. other than that 10/10 would recommend

Sad to see one of my favorite games discontinued, i've spent hundreds of hours on this one. New Tetris is okay, the aesthetics and etc. but it feels better playing EA's Tetris. This was my go - to game just to escape from reality. Only thing i hate about this game is the music, it can't be turned off even if you change it's volume. Fun times

I like the actual gameplay, I've nothing bad to say about the controls or anything but I find it ridiculous that there isn't an option to turn off sound&music plus why does it need internet connection to play? It's Tetris, it should be a simple and convenient game that you can play anywhere so PLEASE developers fix it.

I love tetris and everything about it I only find it sad that you can't have just buttons to press to turn and move the piece. it is hard getting used tot the swipe controls, and I just don't like the press controls, ( it just doesn't feel tetris like). So I would love to see an extra controlls option with just buttons.

It's good, exactly what you expect from a tetris game. However, not being allowed to disable music reveals the sad truth that it's an EA development - please fix this problem! The tetris music is iconic but extremely annoying! There is absolutely no valid reason to disallow users from listening to their own music. Please fix this.

I love Tetris. I really do, and if this was called what it really is, I wouldn't have bothered. It's nothing but adverts with small amounts of game time in-between. there's an ad above the play field, ads after and before every game, it's shocking how many ads you can fit into a 10 minute session.

Avoid Electronic Arts. You pay top dollar for games and then they retire them very soon afterwards. They did it with Monopoly and now they have done it with Tetris. When I am told a one off payment buys me permanent rights to play a game that's what I expect. I would understand if they stopped updating it at this point as there is a cost to that but there is no need to release an update killing the game - let it continue as is until technology passes it by and it becomes obsolete.

Terrible.This game functions terribly. The blocks do not move,they just stay still.You have to touch the screen for them to move. Although,as soon as you touch the screen,the block places permanently on the floor and the next block comes. You can't move it or switch sides or anything while It's staying still,floating.It's really badly designed and frustrating,annoying to play.I couldn't play longer than 3 minutes cause the game is unplayable the way it was designed. Please fix this issue.Thanks

This is a great version of the true classic, Tetris. It has the music, the graphics, the controls (never used the one-touch controls but the swipe controls are great). I love the marathon mode and the stats page, you can really see how you're improving! Great game, can't see what you could do better!

Was good when I was able to use it, but a recent update has made it unusable offline. You can't even launch it.... Tetris was my go-to app to kill time during underground commute or flights. Now I'll have to find another app, one which is not so dictatorial as to when/where you're allowed to play... Disappointed. Uninstalled

TL;DR not bad for a mobile tetris game. 1) it sometimes feels like the game doesn't want you to play once you get to level 24+ but might be just me. 2) rotation system feels like SRS but sometimes it just doesnt act like SRS at all. 3) if you want to play tetris on the go, this is definitely one of the better options but controls take some time to get used to (im talking about swipe controls, one-touch is eh imo). 4) music is alright, wish it had other songs. 5) galaxy is strange but can be fun.

The game is great, but there are a few glitches when it comes to controlling the volume. The volume sliders don't change the volume, and sometimes after turning off the music and sound effects, it will continue to play. After changing the music, I've tried closing and opening the app again but this doesn't work.
