The Amplified Bible is a translation of the Bible published in 1965 and based on the American Standard Version of 1901.
The purpose of this Version is to “amplify” the text by using a system of brackets and parentheses with explanations, synonyms and definitions to help the reader to understand the real meaning of the original texts.

Easy, simple to use. Just wished that one can bookmark and highlight words or passages in order to get deeper understanding.
WOW...what an amazing amplifier bible to have, it's well I understanding; the print are bold, and also it has accessible references that broadens and enhance your studying. There should be some upgrading if necessary.
Love how you can hit scripture references and it goes there automatically. Thanks guys. I use this app every day. I try to hit the daily and the random before I look at anything else on my phone. It's such a great tool! Blessings!

This app is so wonderful for me all-wise but I have a problem, I can't copy and send more than one verse at a time!

I have loved the Word of God since I "knew Him". I knew Ken & Gloria Copeland referred to it often so I bought one. I no longer struggle for understanding and this app is wonderful. I can carry the Bible easily everywhere I go and finding a particular scripture is easy!!
This is not the Amplified Bible, it's not even close to the Amplified version.
Good app only don't like tge the pop-up of full screen ad on opening.
So far so good, although if only it was possible if anything for the app to be able to give history from time to time about the scriptures, paint a picture so is to say like a scenario of what was happening at that time....something of that sort
Easy to use. The comments are useful and help with the context. I enjoy adding my notes to the verses to remember for next time.

It would be a good Bible if when you went back to go into the bible it was where you were reading before leaving page I do understand what's being said in the bible

I really enjoy reading the Amplified Bible for it's expanded versions of Bible Verses.
This bible is easy to use. I can go to old and new testament easily.
I would say that this version of the Amplified Bible is my favorite so far. It does not have the numerous written "interruptions" of several of Strong's Concordance definitions inserted in almost all sentences. Which would make that more of a study Bible where this is more of an ease of reading version. I would put this app version right at the same to equal level as the New American Standard version for the same reasons of accuracy of translation based on the transliteration source languages.

i enjoy using this app. it's well laid out and easy to navigate. its very useful as it is both old and new testament. so it's all together excellent and not overly complicated. providing a valuable & grammatical understanding of scripture. suitable for the layman, preacher and student. the only negative comment would be that the audio voice sounds like Lillith from Frasier.
I find this app much better than NIV, the word really touched my spirit, ease to understand. Your can highlight words and even share to others. What a blessing ,thank you very much for this app.

Easy to use. I like how I can go from OT to NT in a moment and the verse is just as easy. So many references included within the verses are just a plus in themselves. The language is easily understood and again the references are right there to add light to what's written. Great app.
