The Blockheads

It's, overall, amazing! You get to customize your character, name them, and have different sorts of styles. My only downside is about the time crystals. I've watched several ads to get more, but they've never been given to me (I counted the number of ads, and so far it's been 6 times). I'm not sure if it's not updated for me, or if there's a problem with the server reaching me, but I'm not receiving any time crystals. Again, the game is pretty good, aside from the ad and time crystal problem. 😊

Constantly freezes and crashes when connected to wifi or 4g. I have to play in airplane mode to even run the game. It can be annoying sometimes. I can only assume because of the ads? I also don't like how you are restricted to tilt/d-pad controls on the boat, instead of clicking on a empty square to move. It's helpful when circumnavigating, but when you've already done that then it kind of gets in the way because it requires you to be present and focus on one blockhead at a time.

It's a nice game, whether you're MiNiNg AwAy or exploring the skies, it's always fun to play. Whether you're on low or high graphics, the design is beautiful. I just have one problem. When I create a new world, and it loads, half the screen goes slightly blue, and the buttons on the bottom of the tutorial doesn't show up. So, apparently, my phone screen isn't big enough to play blockheads.

Great game, except that sometimes the inventory disappears behind black bar... Can't see it but can interact with it, and it interferes with the home and back buttons. It also only has a single song. But other than that, it's a survival crafting game where you manage and maintain the health and happiness of blockheads while progressing crafts and exploration.

PLEASE GET RID OF THE BOOT ADS!!! Sometimes it takes three or more tries to boot the game because it's programmed to play a video ad upon start up. And if you go to any other app or your homepage, the app will either successfully play an ad when you come back, or it will do the same thing and make the app unresponsive. Many other small bugs and errors too, but tolerable. That being said, the game itself has always been fun since it came out; I just wish it would run smoothly like it used to.

It's a great game, but the Android port is poorly optimized. The graphics seem to look worse, it runs poorly at times, especially on servers, and booting the game often amounts to staring at a white screen for minutes on end. However, if you manage to avoid these issues, I would highly recommend this game. It provides a unique experience from it's other block-based counterparts and there are many adventures to be had!

I used to play this game all the time and I loved it so much. I decided to revisit it and I started a new world. It might just be the type of phone (Pixel 2) I have but the inventory slots were completely out of my screen so I couldn't see anything. There isn't any option to adjust the placement of this but as I was trying to figure out if I could or not, it had alot of trouble loading and closed out many times with my phone showing "The Blockheads stopped responding"

I've been playing this game since 2014. I've downloaded it again for the second time since the last update and all i have to say is that its buggy. Even offline, the inventory most of the times isn't even showing so i have to close the app and open it again to fix it, and if you exit the app by mistake or not it crashes. Also there was an option to get free time crystals by watching ads and now it doesn't work. This game needs an update asap, to catch up with new smartphones.

An amazing game, but now whenever I open it, it's just a white screen and I have to wait several minutes for the game to start. When I hold my phone horizontally, the accept button for messages is often offscreen, forcing me to close and reopen. This wouldn't be much of a problem exept for the time it takes to load. I also can't seem to watch ads for time crystals anymore. If these problems were fixed, it would earn a five star rating from me.

I loved this game back in middle school, I'm currently a freshman in college, but ever since it updated it only crashes. Some days it'd work, some days it wouldn't. It truly is a great game with amazing potential, but the Devs need to put a little more work into it for the constant crashes and bugs. I don't want to encourage anyone into getting this amazing game and not get to experience it before it crashes. And let us watch videos for crystals again, this is anarchy.

Overall, this is a great game. If you are thinking of getting it, here are some things to consider. Pros: The worlds are HUGE. There is an increadible number of things to do, craft, and grow. The game is high-quality. (Graphics, music, gameplay, etc.) You can control multipule blockheads at once. Cons: You have to pay for multiplayer servers. The game lags on old phones. Some upgrades take a while. Some of the UI doesn't fit on the screen of certain phones.

The game is as fun as I remember but it seems support for newer Android devices is really bad. I get a white screen when starting the game but I found a way to fix it once per launch of the game. Lock your phone then unlock it. The game will show a black screen. Wait for at least 1 or 2 minutes and the game will work like normal. Sometimes the inventory bar might not appear so repeat the process until it does.

Have absolutely loved this game for years! Just got a Chromebook and was hoping to start a new world. Unfortunately, whilst the game seems fully functional in portrait mode, there doesn't seem to be full support for landscape mode. Maximizing the window keeps it in portrait. The only way to play in landscape is to stretch the window to fill the screen. This, however, causes the gam to be unplayable due to the messages when you return not conforming to landscape. Any chance this could be fixed?

I used to play this game a lot. Now that I'm just getting back into it, downloading it again on my Android it froze up and kept saying it was unable to run. In another situation when I move to another app and then come back to Blockheads, it freezes up and I have to close out of it completely and then go back to it, which sometimes also crashes. If this could be fixed it would be much appreciated!

Its very buggy, the game used to be amazing, but now there are adds everywhere. the second I unpause the game, some are even inappropriate and gross. My game also crashes without warning or reason, a constant thing is that it only happens when a blockhead is doing a action while 2 others are mediating. I just want the old gamw back, I would pay $5 if it would mean no random crashes, adds and not so laggy. Other than that, great game! Keep up the hard work you guys!

It's not working anymore, when i open the game it just gives me a white screen then it freezes some others seem to be having the same thing, this is a huge problem and it needs to be resolved. Since this probably won't be fixed for awhile if at all, If you want a similar game but with more of a Minecraft perspective I would recommend Survivalcraft it has a lot of the same things the only downside is it costs money.

Okay, so while the concept of Terraria and Minecraft are prevelant in this game, the creators forgot one major thing. Not all devices are created equally. As such, the inventory bar keeps vanishing. My phone has a pop-up navigational row of buttons that do not stay up. The inventory gets lost behind the buttons, then vanishes when my buttons vanish. If y'all could offer a 'hide navigation row' option, that'd be great. The only way I can fix this is to turn the phone to the side.

Iplayed this game a few years ago. In my ipad. My ipad broke that's why I wasn't able to play it again and I cannot download it on my phone since it says the App is large or smth. I was so happy because I can finally play it again. I mean, This game is cool. I was on the part where I'm already choosing a World, Survival or Custom. At first I chose Custom. I was excited because it was loading. But when it almost finished loading, The app suddenly closed. I tried it again and again. I even chose survival but it still closes. I had no choice but to uninstall it again.

The game is kinda of a mix between Minecraft and Terraria, 2 other game I enjoy! The major flaw is the combat system is awkward. I on new devices, am having a harder time to download it too. The game also feels like it wants my money too much, by trying to sell me time crystals, without them, the game is limited. The game is great in almost every other possible way (except it is very time consuming). LOVE IT!

had this game years ago on ios. No adverts and it ran smoothly. Happy to find on Android, but there are problems (had it approximately 12 hours) Adverts whenever you pause manually or leave the app and re enter etc, but my biggest complaint is that I had to reinstall the app to get rid off a rotation bug. The app thought I was holding it landscape when portrait and vice versa, would not fix itself. No way to regain the world you had previously and I can't see a "pay for no ads" option.

Great game, developer needs to fix some basic bugs. On Android, you cannot exit the app and resume it-- you must force quit and reload the entire game again. There are many similar bugs that make the game far less enjoyable. It is amazing when it works! Some new content would be nice too... We haven't gotten anything new for a very long time. Would be much more inclined to make purchases if I knew the developer cared about the future of the game.

It's a great game, but I recently ran into an issue. I uninstalled the game a while back, and when I went to reinstall it once more, I noticed that the dimensions of the game do not fit my phone. I'm currently using a Samsung S9+. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling time and time again, but I can never get past the little tutorial after the first loading screen.

I like the concept but it's not really functional for me. Couldn't get past the tutorial once it said to select the spade in my inventory. There is no inventory as far as I can see. I think there may be something off the bottom of the screen but I can't actually select anything down there because I can't see it. A smaller issue is the long, blank loading screens, they make it hard to know whether the game is loading or whether it's crashed and I should close everything etc.

I love this game, but recently I've been playing a world and the screen has gone black, I can click my inventory, pause, my characters info but everything else is completely black. I reset my phone several times, and it stays the same, the menu screen comes up like normal, only in game. It's quite upset me. I don't wanna have to start a new world.

I used to love this game. I played it for years. August last year I got a new phone and have never been able to play since. I get the same white screen all these other reviews are talking about, except it never loads. It just crashes after a minute and throws me back to my home screen. I've never been able to actually get past it. It really seems like the developers have just entirely abandoned Blockheads because I've had the same problem for 6 months now which is really sad.

Ive played this game for a long time on the iphone, and it runs pretty smoothly and is a fun game. But playing it on my s10 samsung after waiting for years for it to come to an a android platform, it crashes before it loads has a white bar covering one side of the screen at all times makeing it impossible to see where a basket is or pause the button, just constantly crashing and glitching, its really disappointing as i really enjoyed this game.

This game may not be the best but i love it and used to play it nonstop when i was much smaller. It doesnt drain battery like a madman, it is simple to understand but gameplay has the perfect amount of difficulty to keep ya entertained. I dont have a lot of negative things to say but i have come across some bugs; the online game lags and crashes every other second and the keyboard in chat stays up until you restart phone. Just dont use online (i dont no more)
