This app doesn't work worth a darn. It only records a small part of my trips or doesn't record them at all. On one trip it says I was distracted by handling my phone or taking a call when I didn't even touch my phone. Went on a 92 mile trip yesterday and it didn't even record it. This app is totally worthless. I get much better results using Google Maps. Really a poor excuse for an app that is supposed to determine how much discount I will get on my insurance. Total Junk!!! Get one that works
Doesn't do what it presents and keeps crashing. Really of little use.
How I gonna rate the app if I just installed it ??? The app keeping closing, can't even open. I will just delete it.

I'm tired of "Something Went Wrong", showing by the app for several months now. It was working about 1.5 years ago, but a few months ago it went south. It can show the policies fir a few seconds, but mostly it shows the text above.
Written 8/26:The update for this app was 8/25 not 8/22. I only know that because the app was completely down from 8/21 to 8/25 preventing me from completing registration. What's worse is registration is currently not going well. 1) Auto fill on the login page does not work, at all. 2) requesting a text to complete the "remember my device" sequence is lengthy. I'm waiting 5 min. to rcv the text. Why? Please hire knowledgeable tech staff to manage this app. Update: view documents crashes the app!
I switched to the Hartford in October with an effective date of November 1. When I go to the app it STILL says that my policy is not available which means that the True Lane app doesn't work either. I got the paper copy of my policy three weeks ago so why is it taking so long to become visible electronically? Don't get me wrong, the insurance itself is excellent (I have had it before) but why offer an app that does not work properly?
Crashes. Doesn't stay logged in. Touch login won't work. Difficult to navigate through the loops. PW changes mandated within 3 weeks. This is not a convenient app! Will stick to browser/non-mobile method. It's quicker.
I drive school bus for a living and it's a requirement that I don't have my phone on or headset while on the road. like Hartford they consider this.. "distracted driving" Hartford chose to remove their discounts because they're not receiving data during work hours.I find it cost effective not to drive after work unless absolutely necessary so I'm not on the road very often after work. Staying in alignment with this app and the policy requirements has been less than favorable.
Horrible app! Every time I make a selection, it makes me log in again. Click on "My Policies": log in. Click on "Auto policy": log in again, and this time it STILL didn't take me to the policy. One of the worst apps I have ever had!
I do not like the app. It is inaccurate. I put my phone in the same place while driving and I get different responses of being rated for distraction. I can not turn off the notifications.
Have used this app for several years monthly. Since last update, app crashes as soon as you put in creds and hit "log in". This app was so easy and convenient, I hope there will be an update released soon to fix it.
This app is completely useless. Its probably worked 3 times over the last 12 months. I always try it and it says sorry! Something went wrong. Ill just log into my computer to make my payment. I uninstalled it. Good bye!!
The App crashes right after login. Your latest update shows, Aug 2021. So no one is working on fixing the bugs within this app?
I liked this app before but in recent months it is proving to be problematic. Whenever I try to see my coverages or edit them, the app randomly shuts down without warning.
App keeps stopping. When i am riding instead of driving i cant click passenger. So i am always driving no matter what, when the app works. Lost my discount cuz app wasnt working. They said i can restart and it woukd start where i left off. Nope had to start all over again !!
Was a 5 star company when we first changed over to Heartford. Now a 1 star.. 4 star company with a 0 star safe driver app, Truelane. Heartford TrueLane fails to work and there tech support can't figure it out. They remove my discount because "I wasn't sending data from the app" that they can't fix. Raised my rates $102! I believe Heartford doesn't want to give you the discount they advertise. My app stopped working the day the discount started. Strange? Checkout TrueLane ratings...
Since The Hartford's app birth, few glitches wherher MS or Android needing tech support/cust.serv. Don't understand bad reviews. I can print ins. cards, polices, declarations & bill info w/o screaming at electronics, software or companies. (And, no, I have no affiliation with The Hartford other than as a policyholder 20+yrs.) The reps are polite, pleasant, smart; find & apply discounts; ensure I've a # to call if we're cut-off. Everyone's doing their best during the Pandemic.
It doesn't work. Never logs in to my account. It just spins. I'm unable to access any of my insurance information via the app. Useless and disappointing 😞.
Never works. Always says "something went wrong, try back later ". Try never! Ridiculous waste of time. I keep this app updated and still it won't work.
This app fails to load properly. It just opens and closed repeatedly. I've reported the error, but it hasn't been fixed.
I am not able to find the icon for this app after downloading it (Samsung Galaxy S8). I can go to the Play Store and open it from there. But that's rather inconvenient.
I give 2 stars because this a good app when it worked. Can pay my bill on the fly. Get my cards if needed. See my polices. The app worked great until the most recent update. Can't log in now.
App hasn't worked in AT LEAST the last 3 weeks for me. Right after login I get the, "Oops, something went wrong," message. Every time.
This app hasn't worked since forever! It must have been written by a mail order programmer! Uninstalled and will use the web. portal for now.
