The Shadow Sun

This is a game that reminds me of titles such as Neverwinter Nights and other RPGs of that era. A story driven game with fun quests that quite often have lots of different possible outcomes depending on your choices. This is the kind of game you would expect to play on a PC a few years ago. The graphics still look good despite the fact that the game isn' t brand new. The story, dialogues, choices and RPG elements are solid and create a very pleasant and imersive experience.

Worth the current cost. 10 - 12 hrs of gameplay. The amount of quest is limited so choose your characters abilities wisely. Definitely worth multiple playthroughs. The story, gameplay, voices, sounds, and graphics are all top notch. The only con is that the animations are kinda blocky, and its hard to scroll up and down in the character menu.

The game itself is well worth the price. If it feels *short* to anyone, it's coz they're comparing it with PC games. Most of all, the conversations and music set up a better ambience than I had dared to hope for. All in all, I had a good time! P.S. Please roll out the next part(s), the story is very engaging!

Do not use with a dragon touch max 10 tablet. When you talk to characters the graphics flash and stutters. I emailed the developer. No known fix. I can play this on my Android phone and it works fine. My phone is no power house. The game is fun to play it's just a shame I can't play it on my tablet. I would rate it a five if not for this issue.

It's a great game, its right up there with Aralon: Forge and Flame, Aralon 2, and Ravensword 2. It's definitely worth the money, long story, good graphics, good skills, good equipment. If you're considering it, then get it. You won't be disappointed.

Honestly, I would give this game a higher rating, if it had an update more recent than 2015... this needs something updated. Graphics, process, expansion. Something. Its got potential, and to be honest, I wouldn't mind seeing it get bigger, or at the very least, something new all together. A similar game in a different genre maybe?

An oldschool fantasy Action RPG, of the better sort. We can mix our character, or stay stereotypical warrior-rogue-sorcerer (females, too), and we can solve some quests in different ways, and at least have some choices influencing the storyline. Fighting is a must, so stealthy pacifist doesn't work. Pricing is fair and DLC costs also remain below € 1,- each (did not test any). The story is nothing special, but implemented well. Music is good enough. Good for a playthrough, or two. ;-)

It looks like a pile a garbage looking st screenshots but my opinion changed after starting to play. It's a game that tries so hard to compete with "better" games and ya know what? It easily competes with alot of RPGs out there, solid game I reccomend it.

By far the very best and only true old school PC RPG! This is what I have wanted and hoping for in a mobile RPG game! I am not a fan of MMO and pay to win! Thank you Ossian Studios for such an awesome game. I beseech you to create more games just exactly in the style like this one. Great job! I wish I found it sooner but so glad I did!!!!!!! To all you wanna be Devs, THIS is the way you do it!!!!!

Really really good. the art is fantastic, the controls easy to master, tons of story and adventures. the environment seem a little confining, but truly a great RPG. well done

I'm going to go out on a limb here, This is the best game I've experienced since I have been playing mobile games. Zero complaints. I've been Mobile gaming around fifteen years and this is the most player-friendlly and no pay to play B.S. I humbly request a sequel. At the end of this game it speaks of another story for another time. Thanks for the experience,LL.

What ever happened to these guys? Darkness over Daggerford for NWN 1 and Mysteries of Westgate were titanic additions to those games. I bought this without even looking beyond who made it. I am very pleased with it so far. Good graphics, real role play, excellent music- all the hallmarks I expected from these creators. I am disappointed there are not more recent games by them.

The Shadow Sun is perhaps my favorite mobile game of all time. It brings the classic KOTOR-type mechanics to the touchscreen, along with an interesting story and a captivating ambiance. This game is criminally overlooked and is a must-play for any fan of solid RPGs.

I'm currently playing Darkness over Daggerford module for Neverwinter Nights EE, and as it got me intrigued, I just realized that this is made by the same guys who made this game! And surprisingly enough, I played The Shadow Sun before their other works. Compared to Darkness over Daggerford, I'd say this game doesn't have much love put into it. Especially the mechanical side of this game is really lack-luster. They could've easily used some modified DnD rules. Hope we get a sequel.

love this game, when is the sequel ? because I would definitely be hooked on a franchise like this. I won't spoil the story but I will say it's a lot of fun playing it, and rightly so as you can tell there's been a lot of time invested into this game that its easy for players to really get engulfed into it's story. It's so rare to find a good rpg to play on the go, so I would definitely recommend this one as it is an absolute stand out in the market.

It's worth every cent! It might look dated but it's fun to play. The only negative is that it's a bit too easy sometimes, but it doesn't detract that it's a really good game, not KOTOR good, but close. I just wish it was a bit longer.

This is definitely a highly underrated beautifully done game story is good gameplay is good and I have enjoyed so far very much. I was hoping to find other games like this and have not been able to find anything close to this good 1 of a kind wish the developers made more.

This game deserve a sequel cause is classless game and build your own class rpg. There a class build so broken and I made to hard mode but still broken. Paladin Class since is a op build that stunlock bosses and enemy including aoe. Anyway, story was good but I hope you developed a sequel cause we need more type of this game.

5 stars for sure, best ARPG on thevplay store, no idle BS or pay to win screwery. Solid, fun, classic rpg with a combat system that is actually engaging and requires concentration instead of just mashing buttons

Great rpg, graphics and environment details/colors are vibrant. Last updated 2015 but still works great in 2021!

Personally, this is the best rpg adventure on the play store. Beatiful graphics, good story, god controls. Kudos to the developer.

Please make option to move joy stick, it is to close to the bottom of my screen, makes it harder to move around.

Great game took me about 7 hours to beat it. ending kinda of a let down only because it was a short game need a part 2 please!!!
