I'm very tech savvy. I tried using this app on 2 phones with 2 different headsets (Bluetooth and 3.5 aux) for Spider-Man No Way Home. My wife only speaks Spanish so this would've been great. I downloaded the audio before the movie but once inside, it wouldn't sync. We had great reception. We tried multiple times on both phones and once one of them did sync the audio sounded for half a second and then no more audio. The other phone didn't even sync. Very sad that the app isn't even functioning.
Good. Has potential to be great. First, when the screen on my s10+ goes blank, the audio stops, so I have to keep tapping the screen to keep it awake. We might get around this next time by carrying a battery to charge the phone, effectively keeping the screen awake. Second, the movie we were watching had about a half-second lag, which is not terribly bad if you hear English then a bit later Spanish, but the movie we saw had a lot of parts in Spanish so we'd hear what sounded like an echo and it got pretty annoying for my wife. If it would be possible to 'adjust' the sync backwards or forwards by like 1/10 of a second at a time via the app, up to a reasonable maximum, we could adjust accordingly and have a much better experience. This is the future. No doubt about it!
The app is a great concept. My wife and I downloaded the app. At first it took forever to download the voice over for the movie we wanted to watch but once it downloaded, ten minutes into the movie, it worked great. My wife and i were excited. We decided to go to the movies to watch a different movie but this time it did not shiw up on their list. we thought maybe we had to get closer to the theater and nothing. this app only has certain movies translated which is dissapointing
very useful. I'd add translation to the written words that are relevant to the film (eg: words from letters the spectator is intended to read or specific signs or graffiti within the film) also in some auditoriums you can't get 4g signal onto your phone so how would the app work in those cases? also i can't find Spanish soundtracks for every film showing right now so that would be quite convenient to have
Worked perfect the first time, great app. But later when I tried to reset my password it failed and never worked again. So good luck, if you do not have this problem you will enjoy. Looking for another option
This is the best app. my mom doesnt speak much English and in the past she hasn't been able to join us at the movies. today this app made it possible for her to join as to watch Dumbo. At 1st I was skeptical but this app worked great. the app synced immediately and I was listening to make sure it was working and there was no lag. Amazing. My mother was able to enjoy the whole movie. best app in the play store.
the app is amazing, I used it to watch Spiderman No Away Home and it worked perfectly, if there were options for other languages like Portuguese, French, Chinese etc it would be perfect, congratulations to whoever developed the app
Need to update the movies. We went to the theater thinking they were playing a selection they had listed on the app but none of the selections were available at the theater. However when there is a movie available the app works exceptionally well.
They don't update their movie selections fast. I've been waiting for them to add the new movies in theater on their translation app but nada. All I get is the same old movies that's already been watch for two months. I want to see Nobody's fool, Night school, The hate you give, Overlord, ect.. in Spanish... Maybe it's cause they don't have enough translators working for them. Too bad, cause it actually works great when using it in the theaters.
I always waited for an app like this that can make the movie translate to Spanish now I don't have to leave my friends that speak one language at home they could come with us. We love the app and we have been recommending this app to my friends and family haven't experienced any problems, the app works perfect!!!
The movies that are out are not on the app. I wanted to bring one family member to see Lion King with me and download this app so can hear it in spanish but the movie is not on the app. There are just some movies on the app not all the movies that are on the theater. This have been happening for a long time already, it really doesn't work
I love the app, I can't critic much on it since is free, but if you guys were to start charging then I will say it needs more movies. I hope you guys add overlord, fantastic beasts, creed 2 and aquaman, those are the movies I'm looking forward to! Keep up the good work!
I had a cousin visting from Mexico so were worried we couldn't take her to the movies due to the language barrier but luckily the app allowed her to understand the movie along with us. We were both able to enjoy the movie in our own languages. Were hoping to see more movies together!
It does the job. I've been to the mobies like 10 times and just once it did not work. Sometimes there are movies misssig though, I don't go often to the movies, so it just has happened twice to me.
one star due to app developers disabling it to rooted devices for "security" reasons. this is the first app that i have come across with this excuse. my bank app works fine with rooted device. so i call BS for this app to be disabled for security reasons edit: you need to be inside theater for the audio to sync. so fooling gps wont do. gps can be fooled without rooted devices
Downloaded this app after the movie started (the theatre had informed me that they had a handheld Spanish subtitle option-they were wrong). Thrilled that app autosync'd with the movie-saved the evening!
It doesn't want to synchronize with my note 9. At first it did work but now it just keeps saying syncing but doesn't connect so I cant watch it in spanish. please help.
The app is a great concept and do like it, the only downside it has the audio is 5seg in advance vs the movie real time, so needs work with the synchronization, try it now in B&B Movie in Wylie, TX seeing Tha Bad Guys
For the love of all that is holy, absolutely NO ONE enjoys getting robocalls suggesting I use their app after I've specifically: 1) Uninstalled it 2) replied unsubscribe to COUNTLESS texts 3) Deleted my account. The app itself works perfectly fine but do NOT install it, it's not worth it for the sheer number of annoyances you'll go through seemingly forever.
Incredibly intrusive ads every few seconds. Hard to browse and use when browsing is interrupted ever few seconds with a screen covering unsuitable video ad.
Works great! Here in Puerto Rico where spanish is our first language we get most of the movies in English... anybody that I mention this app to is amazed Wish that more people knew about it or that they partnered with the local movie theather chain to advertise the app
Great experience for a family relative! My relative is a Spanish speaker. I found this as we were sitting down for Spider-Man No Way Home and synced it as the movie was just starting, and it worked! Used with Galaxy Buds+
Great experience, if you need the Spanish version of the movie, you're watching on the movie theater, the only downside. Took me 30 minutes, between the download, the sound of the movie and the sync, to where the movie was. I have to close the app and opened one more time. To start the sound. But still great app for the people, to want to enjoy the movie in Spanish...
