Excellent app and stable, it's easy to use and feature rich, recognizes all my ONVIF cameras with H264 and H265 and I was able to send Email on motion which is a plus. The AI motion detection needs some work but is usable and much simpler to use than some of the leading Windows based software. In the end, I stuck with TinyCam and gave up on my Windows Software which was too frustrating to get the AI motion detection right.
Was excited about this app but in a big way. I have been searching for a platform that can unify video feeds from security, web, local android, Ip... but i have been through all of the instructions and followed the guidance but no cams except for built-in device cameras will work for me. Going for the refund to refuel the search.
I expected more from a paid app. For some time, I have been running this app via windows PC, using BlueStacks emulator, but it's SUPER SLOW/LAGGY. To the point of being non-usable. I have also tried it with Windows 11...RESOURCE HOG! It puts 50% load on my RX590 video card, and uses 13.7GB of memory! Using it in Windows 11 also pushed the system temp into the mid 50s from a 32C idle temp with a good AIO water cooling. I use this app due to a lack of other options.
The best available APP, configuration is very straightforward, picks up every camera on the network. I use it on a very slow and basic Lenovo tablet and it works every time. Have been trying many apps before and they don't come close to this one. Highly recommended.
If this app wouldn't drop frames from the double digits when I first added my cameras until now where I cannot get a single feed with a Complete Full (ONE) Frame and they all are 0.7, 0.5, 0.3 & absolutely ZERO!!! Other than that and the AndroidTV version never gets updated this would be a 5 Star App!! With the possibility of a 6th STAR☆ due to all the other features BUT ZERO RESPONSE FROM DEVELOPER TO RESOLVE ANY PROBLEMS WHEN I PAID FOR THE PRO VERSION... DON'T EXPECT HELP FOR WYZE CAMS 4/2022
TinyCam Pro - should be bought by Apple or AMZ, so it is the supreme choice for Android, hopefully a future iOS release. Is it dam Perfect? No, but it stands on the shoulders of giants, compared to Amcrest & Lorex app's. TCP-has Advanced Feature sets, like Face & Motion detection, plus email's to 3 different options. Have i tried other cam app's? Owler (good as b/u), Onvier (not working). CON -sometimes, after a power grid, or cable failure, I have to re-install it, but it's EZ ... DSM.
The best all-in-one camera viewer! Just found it after some issues with another software. And bought the Pro almost instantly. The option to automatically modify IP and ports when outside my LAN is priceless. Edit: bought a new hikvision 8MP h265 (currently not plus) and tinyCam cannot show its 4K stream unfortunately.
So easy to set up and use. Simple controls for motion/face/object detection. Record to cloud (Google Drive, etc.) Or local drive. I like it a lot.
Used to work better, but it has been very unstable recently. Constantly crashing. UI is not very intuitive. Trial and error laden learning curve.
Great app, using Nvidia Shield with 4TB ext HDD as NVR with webserver and SV3C 5mp cams. App installed on phones connected to webserver for remote viewing. Works great 99% of the time, once in a while webserver stops responding and Shield needs restarted. Not sure if it's software or hardware related, but not a big deal to me.
So far so good. I use with my wyze cameras on my Galaxy watch. The pictures are definitely clear and good. It's easy to navigate. Sometimes it takes a little while to load but that's more about the cameras than this app I think. Overall, It's good.
Excellent app have had very little trouble with setting it up. I work in the tech industry so its a bit easier for me, a lot of great options!!
Generic rtsp cameras don't work with this app. VLC views my blueiris webcast rtsp feeds with no issues but this app doesn't for some reason. I'm using generic camera and putting the exact rtsp address but no dice here.
Very difficult to set up properly, but when you persist, it's the best software I have been able to find after years of searching for the one software solution for multiple different brands of WiFi cameras.
I paid for this app, set it up, and still couldn't get it to work. It keeps saying the app has some bugs and it crashes on me all the time. Arrrrrgggggghhhhhhh!!!!! 😡🤬
App has been working fine. All of a sudden today it just stopped detecting my cameras. Settings haven't changed on my cameras. I uninstalled then reinstalled ....nothing! Just completely blank.
Unfortunately it does not work on my Samsung galaxy xcover5 will not load video over WiFi connection in-house even though it as detected cameras and I have entered passwords. Comes upon screen incorrect user and password. But works on my old Nokia 2.2 which is running android 11 .cannot figure what the problem is.i have given all app permissions. 🤔
The best! After a bit of a learning curve, I find it mostly easy to set up Wyze cams. There are many cams-per-page configurations but it would be nice if there were even more. Update 1/8/2022: Great app update on 12/23. No more cam dropouts for my V2s or V3s
Offers much more than I expected. Very easy to use and setup. Only drawback is that my ptz cams won't move position but it could fixed in the future with an update.
Crashes constantly. Usually within seconds of opening the app. Happy to provide any help I can with info or logs. As is, its currently unusable.
The free version worked fine and so I paid for the pro version. This worked well for a few weeks then stopped working. Nothing I did would get it to work. I deleted the camera and re-added it but nothing. I emailed support but no reply, even after over a month. I gave up as clearly they won't return my money. Other apps work fine. This app then started working and lasted about a week and has now stopped working again. Poor service and poor app.
