Lots of potential, but needs some improvement. App is slow to load pictures.

This is an update to my last review. The app is still trash. Have tried to send a chat which is one of the features of the app and after you type a little bit it freezes and drops out. This has happened at least 20 times. This app is NOT good. I feel the server that runs it can't handle the amount of traffic going on. I regularly get updates on my child hours after they happen. A few days ago I got 8 notifications of pictures. They were from the previous 7 days activity.

Updating my review. After crashing immediately upon opening (appears it wasn't adequately tested on Android devices prior to release) I'm able to log in and see updates. But the notifications area is a mess, when I try to customize I get hundreds of "breakfast" lists and not much else. So far this just seems like a lame reskin that was rushed to release, I don't see much more functionality. I thought we were supposed to be able to chat with our center but I can't seem to locate that function.

Overall the app is great! I love how the activities are real time and you can see photos of your little one! It does need help with its features like the absence menu, notifications and classroom activity. The absence notification is great but 1) you can't review which days do you have already notified 2) you can't select more than one date. Then there are no notifications in the classroom activity feature nor the notifications feature. Otherwise great!

It didn't have a great interface to begin with, with very little functionality - especially around reporting options for teachers to update the student profile. As of 3/30 I am finally able to log in but the app is super slow. Constantly says "server error" at the bottom and my child's activity has since disappeared that was previously visible prior to the updates. Also can't update any info or upload a photo. I would suggest a BETA program for future update roll outs. Just not a good app.

Inconsistent at best- app is easy to navigate. But doesn't always show everything. Definitely seems to be bugs. I'll get a push notification that shows me an activity with a picture, but when I open the app it's no longer there. I feel like I'm probably missing out on so much that is getting entered but lost in the app somewhere.

This app seems like it has plenty of potential, but it's not quite there yet. The notifications are sporadic. I like that there is a more broader description of the activities. My biggest disappointment is that I am unable to save the pictures. It seems like it might only be an android issue. My wife has an iphone and she has no problem saving the pictures. Please update soon

Ever since the upgrade, I don't get notifications on my android even though everything is set to give me a notification. I don't even get the notifications for the announcements. I almost missed that our center was closing early due to power issues. It was working much better before the upgrade! Never had an issue before that.

App won't open. Every time I try to open the newly updated app, it force closes. Hope this will be resolved soon. The previous version was fine and actually worked. *edit* The app now "works", it actually opens. Hoever I haven't gotten any updates on my kid in two days now, whereas before I would receive an update as soon as 9-930. The school hasn't changed anything on their end, so it must be the app.

There have been some improvements, which are always appreciated. There's no way to view the weekly menu, the back button still doesn't work except to close the app, and my biggest issue is the notifications reset themselves to all-off on a daily basis. That's frustrating.

Works now (finally) and it's pretty good so far. I wouldn't really call it a massive improvement over the old app. It really, really needs the ability to message and talk to your child's teacher directly. This seems like a simple feature that would make a huge difference during covid when we barely have a relationship with the person taking care of our child most of the day as we don't go into the classroom. I want to be able to ask how potty training is going and compare with home but I can't.

This app is now functional for Android users as of 03/31/2021. Not sure what is actually different in the app other than it looking prettier (colors, fonts, etc.). Unfortunately it does seem to take A LOT longer to fetch images and events in my child's feed/history compared to the older app version. Wish the app was better, but at least they finally got it working on Android.

This app has great potential, however I've had nothing but issues since downloading it. Most of the functions (schedule, announcements, attendance, etc) don't work. I get an error message that says "no data available". I've tried to reach out and get help several times but have gotten no response from the developers/IT.

I was excited for the update so I can save the pictures and communicate with TLE without having to call. The app won't open since the update on my Samsung Note9. Luckily I have a work iPhone and was able to download the app to keep up with my child throughout the day. It seems to be an error with Android devices and I hope it gets fixed soon!

No videos, doesn't let you know when child arrives or departs. Doesn't update instantly and sometimes don't get 1st update until 3pm. No live watching. Other apps a lot better I love everything about the school except the app they should look into improving it. Also there should be a feature to download the picture onto your phone to save and lastly a way to communicate with the teachers. This is a very amature app.

UPDATE: following a patch in the afternoon of 3/29 meant to fix this issue, I still cannot open the app. I even uninstalled and reinstalled and it still will not open. This app will not load for me after the update. I can't even open it. I have tried force stop, uninstall/reinstall multiple times, and restarting my phone. This is very upsetting and I do not know who to contact to address this issue.

The new updated app has some improvements but it's also lacking in areas that were fine in the original. It takes forever to load photos and you downloading them doesnt work. Its also a data hog. I only open the app once or twice a day (as notifications dont work) a.d Its used several GB of data in 3 weeks time.

As careless as TLE can be. I am not surprised that TLE didn't even bother to launch the app even once before sending emails to update. 100% of the times app crashes as soon as I launch. Uninstalled and installed again. It just doesn't work. I cannot even go back to the older version now which was also horrible but at least launching. If i could i will give them 0 * rating. How difficult was it for TLE to launch the app just once before publishing this update.

The app still doesn't work. Can't login and as soon as you enter an address it crashes and you can't select a center. Please invest legitimate money into a quality app. I can't believe you'd send out a mass email (twice!!) without testing it first, and one you can't even respond to.

Never receive notifications and at times have to delete app and reinstall to even see pictures. App is great when it works properly which is rarely. For the amount of money paid to TLE is should work perfectly all the time.

All set on my side for the app (after multiple days of struggling to get logged in) and love I can see all the old pictures, but my center's tablets still won't connect! I went from being able to see if he ate, napped, diaper changes, and all the fun he was having to paper reports daily. Not helpful!

Even through I have notifications set both through the app and phone settings, not getting anything with my Android. This needs to be fixed as I have to open and actively refresh the activity home screen to update.

The new updated app does not work on Android. This is a big problem that I hope gets fixed ASAP. I cannot open the app because it keeps crashing. I have uninstalled it 3 times and it is still not working. My daughter is an infant in daycare and I need to be able to see when she is eating. The old app was able to do this and without the information it is useless. I wish I could get the old one back so that I could at least see some type of data. Please fix!!

*Update *: App is now launching, but it is just slow and was not released with the advertised functionality. I don't get updates until the next day, i can't share/download pictures, no chat functionality... Horrible update, please fix. Will not launch after update. Would be nice to see some acknowledgement of the issue and when an expected resolution will be. Have sent a message to the developer and have heard nothing...

I have two kids in the daycare and am not able to switch back and forth between children. My wife has and iPhone and she gets notifications but cannot see them due to the issue. I do not receive notifications and have not since the update. Broken app.
