The customer service is absolutely dog water. Not only did they mess up my trip, but admitted to an error on their end when canceling. I tried to get it reviewed but they literally lied to me in an e-mail saying that there was no error when all of the calls are recorded, and the woman blatantly said "it looks like there was an error on my end for rebooking, try it again on the app in an hour". So after they messed that up, I ended up paying over $700 for a new booking instead of the 280. Garbage
Terrible app it doesn't seem to update when changes are made to your reservation. Also, Travelocity is a huge disappointment as I booked a flight paying extra for certain times then those times were changed to include a 3 hour layover and they would not do anything about it. I will not book through travelocity again.
Sadly, Travelocity is not where anyone should buy their travel arrangements. Certainly you can use their terrific search engine to find the deals, but then go to the airline, hotel, cruise line or whatever to actually make the purchase. You will not lose out on any deals and you will definitely save yourself the headache and loss of money should something unforeseen arise prior to or during your travel. The website makes promises/guarantees that they DO NOT stand behind.
The worst website to book airline tickets...I was charged twice for the same reservation and trying to get the second duplicate charge back into my checking account is the worst experience I have ever had with a travel booking company. My next post will be with the BBB and the news media.
Even that I have a descend customer service by chat they can do nothing to help. Be carful when you get a flight ticket and you need to cancel, they will give you a very restricted credit that will be a pian to redeem. You are not able to combine or use the credit for other service for example if you bought an air ticket the credit will be just for that if you lucky enough to redeem. They will not work to help you at all. Good luck! Better buy a ticket with the air line directly that will give you better results.
Been trying to book a trip through this site for the last few days. Every time I select a flight it errors out amd tells me to start over. Talked to an agent that told me to try again in a few hours. Every day I don't book is more money. Worthless app.
On new samsung galaxy s22... when u go to login, the keyboard will pop up. U enter ONE letter of your login and the keyboard disappears and you cannot get it back to type so no way to login... App is useless.... must be an s22 issue as it works on other devices. Even tried to delete the app and reload.. Please fix.
Terrible service, terrible app. Received an email saying an international flight was cancelled, no way to reschedule online. Can't sign in to the app because as soon as you for a letter, the keyboard disappears. I would recommend literally any other service than this one.
1st and last time booking with Travelocity. I purchased a package with hotel,flight and protection plan for my flight. They never applied the protection plan to my trip and told me that I never purchased it. Now I'm few hundred dollars out of pocket and left without a protection for my trip. Save ur money and book with some1 else. I have always booked with cheap Caribbean and have never ever experienced anything like this.
Booked a first class flight, was downgraded to coach for most of flight. Travelocity kept all the money, and said sorry for inconvenience. Can you say FRAUD!! Gets better, I called Delta and paid extra for first class. Then I find out that it was booked as two one way tickets instead of roundtrip. I am into flight for 3400.00 roundtrip through Delta First class is 2800.00. Since I thought the upgrade was for roundtrip, I now get to pay to take luggage back home. I will never use this app again!
Absolutely no help from thr virtual agent, no other contact information available. I have a text saying that I have an email I need to respond to but nope not in my inbox or spam. Don't suppose it would make sense to have a message area in the app, nope, I don't like it much right now.
Be aware that if you need to make changes to your flight, the app gives you wrong information!! It will get a price(or credit) for the change but then you have to call customer service only to findd out its a different amount! What's the point of the app info then?? You can't do the change on your own and the price isn't even the same! After over 10 years of using Travelocity, I'm out!
Pricing changing based on searching. Did some research pick out the trip got ready to book and boom pricing changed. This is a typical bait and switch.
I hate this app, ive used other onlune booking with zero issue. This one is Absolutely AWFUL, I cannot enter my email, the keyboard prompt disapears after the first letter is typed, the virtual agent is useless, I'm trying to find basic info on my flights and Im Wasting my time and getting nowhere with no recourse or other assistance or even phone number available,
App is very easy to use and user friendly. For informational purposes only make sure that if using the app to book a hotel stay, call the hotel to be sure the reservation you made matches up with what's in the system at the hotel. Had an incident where I had originally booked a certain type of room, however when I arrived to the hotel the room that I was given wasn't the one I had reserved. Thankfully, I was able to get the room I had originally booked.
The app is easy but all of a sudden when you pick a flight with price after you move on to book all of a sudden " because prices go up you don't get the price showen" confused about why a price showen changes so drastically
This is the worst app I have used. My options are limited and they never find my flight records to actually help. Still waiting for my Refund.......
It's the worst app. You can't sign in, the keyboard disappears when you try to sign in. Frustrating!
I had sat waiting for an agent on chat for a way too long. The fact that I had to download the app to even get the virtual assist to LOOK for an agent is horrible. I'd give this app half a star if I could
Some things work and some things don't. For example, it errors out every time I try to update my telephone number. So annoying.
I thought I was purchasing first class for all my flights since i only searched for first class and only got one each way and did not even get preferred seating on the economy flights one of my flights they provided the wrong gate number we almost missed our flight.
Not able to respond to messages. Unable to find a help/contact link. It saves your upcoming trips, but that's it's only use. You can just log in to the site and get the same information.
Every time I book through Travelocity, something goes wrong. I try to call the airlines and they tell me to call travelocity who tells me to call the airlines. I will NEVER book with them ever again. Awful.
Travelocity did everything right and even though I had a negative experience and the app has some minor issues, I will be using Travelocity for future vacations and other travels.
Very bad app customer service department is terrible they use a chat room to talk and take forever to deal with issues like when you get a flight and they send you an itinerary and confirmation code and status says confirmed bit you not and they say you don't have a flight booked but you have emails that say different and they want you to wait 24 hour for a response but they have your money and time hostage
On the phone trying to change my flight time. Hours later I talk to a representative just to have them hang up on me. Then they sent me a text saying we tried to call you back but you didn't answer. They sent it a second after hanging up. So fustrated.
Whenever I try to log in, I get one of two things. Either I get a log in failed, or I get the I am not a robot box, then says log in failed. Thought maybe I had wrong login, but I used that login to access Travelocity on my computer without issues...
It's the most horrible app in the world. they booked me a car I couldn't use, and left me stranded at the airport with my children for 2 hours. I called customer service, and they were the rudest, most horrible ppl in the world, and did not care that they booked me a car I could not use! Then said I have to book a car by myself. So not only did they take 900 dollars from me for a car I couldn't get but then made me pay 500 dollars and told me I can't get my money back for 10 days. Never again!
I've been using Travelociy over 20 years. I will never use again. They used to let you download an easy to read PDF file of the itinerary but no longer do. When viewing my itinerary on the web page it is difficult to read as it wraps on the page into two columns. When you have a long flights as I do with multiple layovers, it's a mess to read. I tried the Travelocity app and the app just goes to the same web page.
