Nice try. Result will vary from one phone to another. Tried it on 3 phones, 2 androids and 1 iphone, just because I was bored and results are different. The readings are inconsistent between 3 phones or no reading at all, I even did the turn around to calibrate. It does react to microwave, that's at least is consistent between 3 phones. Fun for pranks.
Reading through the reviews after having issues with the app, and I'm definitely uninstalling. Developers even say that the electromagnet needa to be right next to the phone to even work, which means if there WERE something paranormal near you it wouldn't even pick it up. The app crashes randomly for me, and the flashlight fails to turn on about 80% of the time. Never found an EMF app that actually works for phones, probably never will.
The app works fine. Try it near a microwave oven. If it doesnt work, your phone doesnt have the sensor for it or it might be the phone itself . One issue I do have though: I would prefer if the readings were in Miligauss. I would like to suggest a measurement display setting please. :)
It was really accurate and useful until it malfunctioned and the numbers and lights stopped working, the graph still worked though just the numbers got stuck and the light kept staying on the same color even if the I managed to get the numbers to go down. but if you guys fix that I feel this could be a very useful app.
It works fairly well. However the flashlight button does nothing on my HTC U11 device. In fact when the emf reader is open, it disables my phones flashlight button. Turning the flashlight on before opening the emf reader, just turns off the flashlight. No big deal, I just denied camera access to fix the problem. Can't use the light button on the app anyways but, now I can use the flashlight button on my drop down. It has no effect on the use of the app.
The lights go up when you come close to anything that uses electricity, also will spike up to red if it touches anything metal. So doesn't work the way it's supposed to I guess.
ok. Only had installed for about 10 mins and seems legit. my ethernet cable maxes it out which I'm not sure if it should but after repeated checks it does same thing everytime. cannot wait to use more extensively when I have time. good work. Oh and I dialed the *#0*#0 to confirm I had magnetic detection capabilities on my phone first. thanks !
this app does work to detect magnetic fields. I have a magnetized wallet case on my phone, everytime I shut the case, the graph would light up like a Christmas tree, as the developer said, you need to have a phone with the sensors, not a cheap, run of the mill android, which isnt equipped with the proper hardware
This app is completely legit. It detects everything that has a magnetic field and if you put it up to a magnet then the scale goes through the roof. You can determine paranormal activity through this too because disturbances in the magnetic field often mean there is a spirit or something inhuman in that spot. If you're in a warm room or just a room temperature room and thee is a cold spot that gives you chills in just one spot or that moves around, use this app.
what's the base line? I'm getting 60 plus :/ put it near my pc and it's in the red, over 100. definitely seems to be working. the lay out is better than others I have looked at. I'm trying to find if my home has high fields as I'm dizzy when in the home. being broke I'm hoping this can help work out issues. seems I'm not going crazy as out side it's 20.
After I dialed *#0*#0 on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S9) and verified it had magnetic sensors, I tested the app on my electric guitar pickups and amp and it went nuts without getting really up close to it. This app works phenomenal but I'm not sure of it would be good for paranormal activity purposes. If you're into that, get a real EMF detector on amazon for like 35 bucks. Overall, just a fun app
Totally Works! For those saying it doesnt it's either their phones are too old or they dont know what they're talking about! I went near my TV and it went up. then unplugged my TV and it went down. Same thing with my microwave and Sons computer! Walked around whole house putting it near electric appliances and it stayed green for most everything except for when microwave was on. When I put it next to my Sons cell phone it went through the roof! No wonder so many people are getting brain tumors!
This app is amazing. I just lost my brother recently and wanted to see if I could get any readings on this. Tried it on the microwave and it lit up like a Christmas tree, so my mom and i went and used this and it's scary accurate because i put my phone up to all 3 dogs we own and it lit up a bit only on my brothers dog. Such a great app to have if you're into the SuperNatural
I didn't believe it was real but I was wrong. I've tested this app all over the place and it really does detect emfs. It shows just how much we're exposed to fields and didn't even realize it. Great app!
This app does pick up magnetic fields, and goes off the charts for no apparent reason,is it a ghost that's for you to decide??. magnetic fields can effect people in different ways ,can't complain when this app is free.would recomend it..
Ok i understand why all the lights of the meter went full when i opened my phone case, the left hand side of the phone case has a little flat magnet inside it so the case stays closed, also ive compared this app to my real emf detector, this app could be used for ghost hunting but the entity would have to be basically sitting on the mobile phone because even though the app works its not as strong/sensitive as my real emf meter which can detect emf from 10 feet away.
Appears to be an honest app, it dose what is says on the tin and that's use the hardware to detect magnetic fields, thats it.
This app does work, which is cool, but the flash doesn't work and it disables my flash light in the drop down menu on my phone. Not sure why. I am using a OnePlus 7T
i really appreciate the elegance and simplicity of this app- i mean this really surprised me! beautiful. great work- this is how all apps should be designed- to do one thing and to present it in a straightforward and elegant manner.
thought it was bs but, once my fam and i were sitting all in the living room watching funny vids. then suddenly, my brother who was positioned straight ahead of our dark poorly lit hallway, said he saw a vague shadow. i quickly remembered i had this emf app (which never left the green safe reading for me). once i looked at the reading it was shocking that it was maxed out! the thing was beeping like crazy. anyway we all got pretty freaked out. it could have been nothing but who knows.
This app detects magnetic fields very well. It responds the fastest I've seen for phone EMF apps. While phone apps may not be effective scientific instruments for the detection of electromagnetic fields, this app does detect magnetic fields very well. I was even able to observe and confirm changes in electromagetic fields -- likely from the magnetic part of the electromagnetic field, so this can be used to check your exposure to EMF. Also, make sure you keep your sensors calibrated.
