Twitchy

I haven't experienced any of the issues that others have. I opened 10 stories in a row, the only ads were a tiny banner ad at the bottom of the screen. Tried different ways to see if I could duplicate others results, nada. Content is short and to the point, not much extra fluff or filler, just the way I like it. You've even managed to add snippets of humor throughout, great app. 💯😊👍

The older version of this app was much more useable, even with the bugs. Now, I can't click beyond the headline to read an entry without the screen being covered by ads which entirely obscure the text after a few seconds. To make matters worse, there is then no way to exit out of the ad to get back to text I wanted to read in the first place. (To be specific, no matter how I exit the ads, I return to the headline page. So if I want to read a whole entry, I have to enter and exit the article multiple times and read quickly before the ad pops up and blocks it.) The app, therefore, is largely useless because I can't get to the actual content. It's really unfortunate, because I really like the content.

Ads are everywhere on the pages and make many of the stories unreadable! You try to click "next" to get the next small paragraph of the story and the screen moves so you click an ad. Once you do open an ad you can't go back to the story without starting the slideshow all over. I realize you need advertising but, this is over the top!! Deleting app. Not worth the frustration. Terrible experience!

I love the content, but your ads are absolutely horrible. They hijack the page and I have to constantly back out of the ad, which takes me back to the main headlines page. Then I have to click on the same story again and hope the ads don't once again hijack the page. It's like a Twitchy version of Russian roulette. I'm deleting the app and going back to reading the Twitchy website with an ad blocker. Good riddance.

This was one of my go-to apps. I've had this software installed for a long time but it's almost useless now I don't know what the owners intent is but it's certainly not geared toward keeping people interested in it. Ever since they want you to start paying for VIP access it's gone downhill. Sadly, I'm going to uninstall it...it's a mess especially when compared with what it used to be.

The app no longer shows the tweet, only the words of the tweet. If you can't see the actual tweet, what's the point of this app? Update: I uninstalled the original app I had downloaded a year ago and reinstalled from the Play Store. Same issue persists. Changing from 2 star to 1 star rating.

The pop up ads have made this app unusable. Used to love it but when a full page app, the appears to be a Scam to get information, that cannot be closed without losing your place pops almost every time you go to a page, it destroys the experience.

I have one of the paid memberships, and I am going back to the browser. The app has ads, even when logged in. And for an app all about twitter, it seems like it should know when you are logged in to twitter, the browser does. I don't feel like finding/resetting my twitter password just to use an app with ads. Hard pass.

Formatting is off. On my Galaxy S20+, the storys will indent until they can't be seen anymore. And at times it will move back and forth, moving a word from the end of a line to the start of a new one over and over.

The app works well, but they seem to have removed the share button. The only ways to share an article anymore are by Facebook or Twitter, so I'll probably delete the app and just go to the website where my browser still has a share button.

App doesn't open at all anymore, probably due to the VIP nonsense. When it was still working yesterday, I couldn't log into disqus, & Brett T's posts are so needlessly long that most of the dozens of repetitive tweets he includes in them don't even load. Disappointed. This used to be my favorite app.

Completely stopped working. Just spins and never loads content. Multiple devices. Is it due to the recent pay portion of Twitchy? Used to love it.

Was working fine until recently. Now shows no articles only continually refreshes. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but still doesn't work. Disappointing.

App no longer works. I visited daily and really enjoyed it. Very frustrating and disappointing. Will uninstall shortly and find another option.

I don't know what the hell happened to this app! It used to be one of my favorites now the text does nothing but move and jump around everything is off center, it's terrible!! Unusable!! 👋👋

So many glitches. I stay with it inky because I like the content and keeping dreaming it will work. Now insane ads pop up. It's sad the decision makers don't seem to care.

Latest version has issues.. the tweets are off to the right of the screen with no way to scroll over to read them.

It runs now... but wants to charge for "Premium" content. Remember, this is a site that just does snarky comments about tweets. Dosent even take out ads if you pay. Time to ditch this app...they post free on Twitter anyways.

Love the viewpoint and the stories. Always able to put the "news" in perspective and help you cope with the silliness that is Twitter.

I really loved Twitchy but y'all keep screwing it up. Ads that won't let you read the article, now it won't even load.

Phone took an update and app has not worked since. Disappointing really like the stories!!!

I dont understand why you can't keep a working app! I love twitchy but prefer to use the app. I am very disappointed.

pop up and sending you to junk websites. this app is turning into a trash. almost ready to send to trash bin

App won't even open. Used to LOVE Twitchy. Now they went VIP... can't even use it.
