Pros: Easy to use. Getting an uber isn't usually an issue because everyone seems to work for them Cons: Surge pricing is ridiculous. You can't pick your route so sometimes you'll pay more for the same trip because the app refuses to use the shorter route. The pricing on two trips that start at the same place but the destinations are next door to each other can be 5$ or more. A driver can take a longer route to both make you late and jack up the price.

Works for me! I've really had no issues any time I've used it. The only difficulty I've encountered is that different features only work in certain regions, like being able to schedule your ride or a specific car. This can't necessarily be helped, but maybe a better or more consistent app interface would clearly show all features and then specify those that are available in your current region.

The app itself is ok. I can use it and all that. BUT the customer service interface is atrocious. There's no place for me to type in what my issue is if it isn't listed and if I do manage to get someone after searching through all the options to chat to a person I get handed off to another person. Is it within the app and the texting window? Of course not! They said they'll get back to me by email. For the record my issue was that I can rate my driver but I cannot tip them. I'm up to date too.

Uber was my go to app for rides. But these days it's gotten extremely unreliable. I can't find autos or taxis at crucial moments, and especially to certain areas. My disappointment is beyond bounds. I prefer uber over any app, but it's treatment towards loyal customers is disappointing. I will not recommend this app to anyone. I understand if the app cannot find a ride once or twice, but not every. Single. Time. This is getting ridiculous.

This app and service is not reliable. Every time I open it, all I see is the map. No option on the screen or in the settings to book a ride and now you are charging customers booking fees. Whenever I do get the chance to book a ride, the trip doesn't end, not even after I rate my trip. It stays active on my screen for days. I refresh the screen, hit cancel, restart my phone, uninstall the app, browser, new phone. The trip is still there and I can't book a new ride. Awful app and service!

The tipping experience is super confusing recently. I just tipped twice because it didn't display in the details that a tip had been added. There wasn't any feedback that the first tip (5€) had worked. So I added another. A minute later both tips showed up as 10€. The support page says it can be edited, but it cannot. It worked fine in the past and was much clearer.

The app sometimes do not show the correct position of the car. (The app is slower then the car.) Anyway, wonderful service, mostly fair prices, correct, nice drivers, clean cars. What else we need? Never I had bad experience with Uber. (Like I had 2 times with the Lift - since I do not use theirs service anymore.) Uber is the right solution for all my trips in the area. -Thank you!

Unusable. Try finding an Uber anywhere in Central London when you really need to get to your destination. Plan half an hour extra to account for the app 'trying' to find you a driver. You're still gonna be way late as the app is incapable of connecting you to anyone who is actually willing to drive you there. Utterly useless. Have had nothing but fine experiences with the drivers themselves. It seems to be an Uber network problem. Used to be a reliable and good service. Waste of time now.

While the App and its services is very beneficial to commute and travel, I find that their surge prices along with what they give back to the drivers is lowering the quality of every experience. That's more of an infrastructure problem, but the app itself runs well in itself. The only issue would be with customer support. The automated messages are not very solution based and often times takes too long to get out of the automated cycle.

Great app. I have issues sometimes with seeing where drivers are exactly and it appears they don't move for a significant time. I've had to cancel rides after waiting for several minutes and it didn't appear the driver is moving at all. The company should try to remedy this in a way that supports the needs of the rider. I love the ability to call or text the driver if I need.

The app seems to have losed functionality. Do not charge people before the pickup has been confirmed by the driver, and allowe us to cancel a trip if the wait time is too long. I had a trip with a 10 minute wait time, turn into a 20 minute wait. With no easy way to cancel (one click), which makes for a really bad experience if you are on a tight schedule.

Pickup and dropoff times are often inaccurate, or subject to immediate change with no chance to review. My estimate for an uber green was 8 min - I selected that option and <3 seconds later was shown that my driver was over 15 miles away and 20 minutes away. Uber is no longer a reliable way to get to work on time, unfortunately. There should be an option to switch to a nearer-by driver within 30 seconds of booking your trip - other than canceling which incurs a fee and can hurt your rating.

For last few months, the experience had been really bad. First issue is declining (that makes the very purpose of the ride useless). Second issue is request for cancellation of the trip online and conducting the trip with same fare in cash (this makes the app very unsafe and not user friendly). Third issue is asking for extra (this makes the trip a burden). Fourth issue is to complete the trip without AC (this is absolute quality drop). People will definitely look for alternative.

It goes well only until there's no issue. Too often it happens that trips are cancelled multiple times, and eventually the ride is cancelled by the app. After waiting 20 minutes I am still in the same place, when I could have used another service. If you can't deliver on your service, state it right away, or take measures to avoid these situations by not allow drivers to cancel too many times or similar options. Additionally, Very often I redeem discounts and they are never actually applied

Very difficult to make a dispute. I had 2 drivers cancel on me and I ended up canceling the 3rd one because I had already waited 40 min for the first two that never showed. I got charged for the cancelation even though I was canceled on twice and it was very difficult to find how to get a refund and I did not get to describe or talk to anyone on why I felt I deserved a refund. Not a good system. I ended up leaving an hour later than planned and took Lyft because they actually showed up.

It has become unusable. The surcharges are insane and drivers cancel on you all the time. They dominated the market so they could start ripping people of. My usually $22 trip to work tried the charge me over $80 the other day! There was no clear reason for such a surcharge. I've had drivers park or drive the other way hoping I'd cancel. I'm deleting my app and taking the extra hour on public transport. I'll catch a cab if I have to. But UBER... NEVER AGAIN!

You intentionally ask for more tips, after a tip has been given, AND you've designed the app such that it adds to vs replaces what was there. If you make a mistake, too bad: you can't cancel it. Until this deceptive practice is changed, I am only using Lyft and encourage others do to the same. You can have my platinum membership. I'm not okay with tricks - esp when we are trying to do a good thing. You guys know many of us are running w/ luggage, yet force us to touch screens to move on.

Had 6 drivers cancel my ride and one that made me wait 5 minutes before cancelling. I would have submitted some sort of form issue report, but the app has none for that sort of issue. Then the app made me pay in order to cancel the ride that kept getting passed on. I've used the app for several years and am a gold level user. Was not happy. Update: When the area CONSTANTLY has "surge pricing," that's just the normal price. And when it costs 30$-40$ to go less than a mile, that's not a surge but instead gouging the customer. I'll be walking from now on instead of relying on a service that's now more expensive than a cab. Uber is actually more expensive at times to go 10-15 miles than a plane ticket going 400 miles!

Very high priced and difficult to find at least where I live. They also can be very fast and prices fair enough if you have no other means of transportation. When it's a long ride though sometime I just would rather crawl home j.k. They do offer safe rides home or wherever your going. App has a few glitches that need to be worked on but overall. For a rural area it's able to be reliable enough.

Uber is much expensive now. Moreover, nowadays whatever price you will going to book, surely it will be nearly doubled after reaching destination. Very bed experience. If you book uber late night most of the cabs ask you first about the destination and payment mode if both matches then you will get cab, otherwise they ask to cancel. Not at all trustable service in emergency situations. Not at all recommended.
