Navigation is horrible, its slow and drops out. I accept a delivery and the info goes off screen I try to go online and it locks up. Same thing trying to go offline. Uber just doesn't do anything to correct the problems. The only thing worse than the app is uber support 2 years later and navigation is still slow and not too accurate. After it guides me to a drop off mark delivered, it asks me of I'm sure because it doesn't look like I'm at the right address

The app is great. My problem stems from delivering and getting an alert for a new pick-up in the middle of delivering. Why do you think it would be appropriate for me to accept a new order WHILE trying to navigate? That's a distraction and costs me to potentially miss my turn. At least turn off notifications while delivering and wait until I drop off for a new delivery notification. I also wish the refer a friend was clear. My friend received $300 because I joined, I got nothing.

When using Google maps to navigate instead of the in-app navigation, the address changes, sometime to several houses away. But, in-app navigation doesn't take into consideration all the traffic delays and construction areas, so it's almost useless in Michigan. I have to use Google Maps to get most of the way there, then hurry and switch to Uber map to see the address. And the app is terrible at predicting what side of the street the destination will be on.

Awful lack of details (for restaurant orders), such as it does not tell you the customer's address until you swipe that the order is picked up. So essentially you cannot plan your route while you are waiting at the restaurant for the food. Plus when you have more than one order it forces you to do them in a certain order even if there is a more efficient route. =|

At times it's fine but I have an electric car. Uber punishes me for this. I have a certain range so I have to choose my trips carefully. I must have efficient trips. That means shorter in time or miles. I am punished for rejecting trips the algorithm sends me. The algorithm won't filter out inefficient trips so I have to. I may have my requests paused if I deny while I'm in transit (because I can't safely evaluate them, it covers my navigation). So much for encouraging EVs

No idea what's the problem with this app. Even after deleting & reinstalling can't raise a ticket on trip issues. It would just show delivery issues not rider issues. Messaged support three times in the app without a response. Secondly, there is a big problem with destination - the trip requests are 180 degree to the destination. Eventually I am stranded far away from destination & wonder what's the fun in putting the destination. Driver unfriendly.

I've been using this app for 3 months or so now and it seems like the longer I use it, the less rewards programs it offers and the fewer trips you get. Maybe if I try another app for a few months and then try this again it will do better. I've been driving for an hour and only got 1 fair, $4 for a half hour drive. This is in a high demand zone, too! I am pretty close to being done with this app if this trend continues

I do love doing deliveries for uber eats but my issue is the gps is horrible. Update* the customer acceptance rate isn't cool.. I had to cancel 3 orders 2 because the wait time was not worth my time and the third one because somebody else picked up the order.. why do I get penalized for something I can't control.. all the sudden it says trips are paused because I canceled three trips.. I love the fact that extra money can be made by this platform but you guys are heading in the wrong direction.

Navigating around took a little to get used to. I drove for Postmates awhile back and the navigation was horrible! Starting out with Uber I was apprehensive at first not knowing how accurate it would be. 10 deliveries down and I have to say it's pretty decent! So far it's been a decent experience *knock on wood*

They keep screwing with us drivers. Changing functions without telling us. No where in the app ot otherwise does it state there is a time limit on the "pause" function, there hasnt been for the last month since they launched it. Tonight I log in and use the "pause" and now there is a time limit and they will log you off and you lose whatever surge was there when you started the pause.

It's amazing how easy you can get into this and make some money on the side for whatever you need, but the downside is how unreliable it can be, especially when you're "walking" and not on a bike or vehicle. It honestly comes down to where you live too, do I recommend this app? Not really, I would recommend it to people who just want something extra alongside there job or hobby.

Problem. Everytime you add a new ride, it stop the GPS and raises the volume to my Bluetooth. There are times I miss my turn because it stop and I have to press navigate and lower the Bluetooth volume. I know that other Uber drivers want to know how long a trip is and where it's going, but not worth the distraction. Very annoying. You can show us where and how long on the page that says we have another ride. We can press the three dots when it's safe to, like at a red light or we can pull over

This app is specially bad. Once you install it, it will tries to take control over your phone. Phone will run over the screen lock, your can't turn volume down, and many others features. Basically, it is like an spam app. Also, I have to say that it's maps is pretty bad, and you to put the address manually in other apps (like Google maps) if you don't want to get lost. Moreover, it will drain your battery really fast, and its resources consumision is one of the worst I have ever seen.

I'm willing to let a lot of things go but bringing back the widget and mandatory "display over other apps" is a bad move. This just does not work correctly. I need to be able to see the map when I get an offer and this makes the app get stuck in the background. Bring back the last update where the offer just came down from the top of the screen. I will seriously consider to stop driving for Uber over this. -A diamond driver

Thr update requiring the app to be shown on top of all other apps is a terrible feature, PLEASE change it so this is not required! As independent contractors we have the right to be using other apps like phone, email, text, maps etc. Now, when you are not in the uber app when an offer comes in, it pops up half the offer details, minus the map. You can't go into the uber app to see the map and make your choice, instead you are stuck in the pop up widget and can only decline or accept blindly. :(

Ever since updating the app very recently. I'm unable to update my debit card info, each time I put the new for my new card, it says there's a "problem" with my connection!!! And I'm also unable to instant pay cash out, keeps saying failed attempts to cash out! Even if it's thru my banking info instead of my debit card. I've addressed this issue twice to CS and they can't seem to know what the problem is or avoid answering me after a while.

The destination system is terrible since you never know when you can use one, and when you do, if the app decides to, it'll log you out and waste your limited destinations. Then they recently added breaks to the app, but if you have an EV and need to take a break to recharge the car, the app decides you took too long of a break, logs you out, also wasting a destination. You call support and they say "it's a technical issue that will be fixed" when it's obviously a bad policy, not a tech issue

Customer service is very poor. They can't fix or don't understand how to fix most problems. Trip radar is nice but I've only ever gotten a chance to do two of the trips because it doesn't give you time to look before sending you a trip. The app is supposed to have area preferences now and does not, already spoke to customer service and they tried to tell me that it's not an option. I have a message from Uber with them telling me it's an option. Waiting for a call back from a supervisor now.

I can't even begin to describe how frustrating it is that you can accidentally accept or decline an order THE SECOND it pops up. I'll be in the middle of texting a friend and accidentally accept a $2 order I don't want, or accidentally tap the X and decline a $26 order. Please for the love of god implement like a 2 second delay on the orders to stop this from happening.

This mandatory on top of all apps setting is going to have me cancelling a lot of orders. After submitting multiple complaints, and seeing multiple reviews about it here alone, it's clear the issue isn't being fixed. Even though, at one point, it was. I can't even go online unless it's activated in my settings. This is dumb, and it's a driving hazard for people using navigation.

The destination mode is not working properly, the other day I set my destination to get back home and set the arrival time on 6pm, the uber app gave me a long trip to opposite direction, I realized that when I picked up my passenger and there was no way to cancel the trip. After finishing that trip I drove back home. I was home at 7:30pm my mom was mad at me. It was a very bad experience, I hope will uber improve this feature . Since then I don't trust set destination and do it by myself!!!!
