There was a promotion for a restaurant. In the cart, the promotion was displayed with the correct amount as well as when I clicked the 'Pay x€' button. However, I was charged the same amount as I would without the promotion, so almost 50% more. Had the amount I would have been charged for be displayed, I wouldn't have proceeded. This is bug within the app which I am paying for. I contacted customer support but they have been terribly unhelpful as well.

Overall 3 stars. I would personally recommend you do NOT sign up for the Uber One pass. The service is marketed as better, but that is not the case. It remains the same, and the discounts are minimal. Often you get coupons for places you never order from, seems set up to profit the partner companies. Sometimes you get a full refund, sometimes you lose years off your life talking with customer service. It's a good but expensive last resort.

attempting to order groceries is incredibly glitchy. almost every time i've tried, the app freezes or crashes at least twice. i've been trying to put an order in for half an hour, but it freezes as soon as i go to checkout. also, for regular takeout, they artificially inflate the prices of each item and THEN charge $10-$15 dollars in fees on top of that. i know y'all ain't strapped for cash, there's no reason to do this.

The app works fine, but I am Uninstalling because it is a rip off. Over the past few months they have risen prices on EVERYTHING. Just ordering one simple item that should be $10 to $20 ends up being $35 after an increased price, delivery fees, additional fees, taxes, and then a tip on top. It also got to the point where I would HAVE to add on an additional express fee just to ensure I get my food in a timely manner, otherwise I would get luke warm soggy food long after it was picked up.

2 years after my initial review and a useless.reply by Uber eats, problems remain. If there is an issue or delay with food delivery, it's almost impossible to get immediate support, and by the time you do, they will say it's too late to cancel or change, even if the error was their fault. Grocery service is terrible. Most items in the store are not listed and most shoppers aren't brilliant enough to figure out the items that you request by writing them down (because the app doesn't list them).

Don't bother with this app unless you want to be ripped off. I put in an order for a delivery with 40% off and the voucher didn't go through and I paid full price. There was no option to cancel either. They said I had to contact the restaurant to cancel but they didn't answer their phone. It has now been over 2 wks and I've been given various excuses and basically fobbed off. I've lost £9 and it doesn't look like I'll get this back. If you can, just order direct. It's safer. Not resolved still.

More incorrect orders than correct, as well as unreliable times or drivers. On tip of uber screwing drivers they won't refund order, if you get too many incorrect. Because we have control of that as customers. Try any other app. The surcharges are crazy, on top of "temp ones". Plus if you live in a tax free state for purchases, they'll find a way to pass an extra charge to you.

I expected a lot more from this app considering it's popularity & advertising. I love using it & continue to do so regardless of the issues I have had. It's not user friendly & takes too much time to complete an order. How does 1 restaurant deliver to my house,yet a restaurant closer to my house states it's too far to deliver. The app can be much more organized & easier to use. Visually it looks disorganized & messy.The delivery workers are amazing & never any problems. Always with fast delivery

Over complicated and horrible. I have now spent an hour trying to get a small pick-up order. First it took 30 min to process my order, but it wouldn't tell me what was wrong, and the help section did not have info on "oops order went wrong try again" error message. Then, the patient and absolutely lovely person trying to pick up my order couldn't find the order because IT WASN'T IN STOCK like the app said, but there was no way to make a substitution! Overly complicated PC and phone. DO NOT!

The ability to get help with your order is astoundingly difficult through the app when it comes to tipping. I've been trying to find a way to amend my tip, which is nonexistent at the moment because of said issue, for the last 30 minutes & all I get is a search bar with finite, basic search terms & no connection to someone live who may have a solution. It's inconvenient for me to call y'all. At THAT membership price, plus the "service fees" & poor wages, I'd want at least better app service.

The experience on this app is horrible. Receive a message from a delivery person and then tap on the message, all it does is open the app. Imagine if every time you received a text message on your phone it would just open the messaging app without actually taking you into the message thread. Doesn't make any sense why this was developed this way. Also trying to get into the conversation thread once the app opens is nearly impossible. You need to be a rocket scientist to figure it out.

I have used UberEats for a long time. I used to get rewarded for my custom with regular special offers via email. However, during a period of illness I stopped placing orders briefly and the offers stopped. I've never had another reward offer since, despite going back to my usual regular use. Very disappointing and now it definitely pays to shop around to get the cheapest deal for your food. If you're getting special offers, use them or lose them!

Lately Uber has only disappointed, as the deliverables are terrible. The deliveries some times get delayed or never delivered, or the delivers change so much, delaying the food for even 3h!!!!! And The application does NOT offer any option to cancel the order, or to get proper support on those cases. We get literally stuck, or the customer or the restaurant can't do anything. I don't recommend the application at all.

I'm HANGRY AF and this useless app won't even add my credit card. It added a gift card no problem. Tried 6 times in the last hour, closing app, clearing data, uninstalled, etc no change. Waste of time. What's even better is that after re-installing, the restaurant I wanted to order from isn't even an option (Smashburger). They're open, but disappeared from the app. So I find my second favorite option (whataburger) and it only offers half of their menu options. Go F yourself ubereats. 🖕🖕🖕

Fine unless something goes wrong. Twice I have had an issue and twice the customer service has been absolutely appauling. Even when I try to explain the issues they just send the same copy and pasted response on repeat. I'll be uninstalling and ordering from other services from now on. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt the first time but I'm over them never accepting responsibility for anything.

Prices on the app are significantly more expensive than at the restaurant. Uber accepts what ever you request from the options on the app but can't guarantee delivery "sometimes you wait up to an hour for your order only to get a notification that it's canceled or it was "delivered" when it wasn't. Wether it's the restaurant or uber, orders get mixed up, messed up as well as missing items and/or replaced items "that you paid for" by other items . I can't add more as I've reached 500 words...

First time using was a total failure. We got notification order had been delivered but it was not here or anywhere. I spent the next hour or so in app menus and with (bad) customer service trying to get the charges removed from my credit card. Meanwhile my wife had to throw some food together at the last minute. In the end they still charged me for the tip. I had to dispute it with credit card company and report to BBB. They also didn't replace the $25 promo from the failed order. Uninstalling!

The app is functional and smoothly transitions through screens. I have received promos and used them and I do subscribe to Uber one. It seems to me that no matter if I have a 5 dollar off or a percentage off it still is about the same amount everytime. I haven't done the math on it yet because I have had it for about two weeks. As far as deliveries it depends on who delivers it to you to get what you ordered. Smaller orders under 20 and over 10 have not had one error.

The order just disappeared and they took 40€ out of my account. Yeah, like literally, I made an order and they charged as expected, but suddenly before delivery the order disappeared from the app. Not cancelled by anyone - disappeared - as if I never did it. Of course the money was still taken from my account and now there's not even a proper customer service channel where I can discuss this issue. I'm thinking of sueing just bc of the distress of trying to fix this!

It's a good service, but I absolutely hate the constant notifications I seem to get from them! I want notifications on for when I'm waiting for my order... But outside of that, I get what seems like several promo notifications everyday!? It's ridiculous... This app sends more notifications to my phone than any other app I've EVER had... If the constant Intrusive ads stopped, I would rate it much higher.

I've been using Uber Eats for a long time, and it's really good! However, recently the promo codes haven't been working. The app will accept my code and I can shop through eligible restaurants as usual, but at checkout the app will say the promotion has already been applied when it hasn't; it'll tell me to pay full price when the promo I'm using is 50% off, for instance. Worst of all, I can't even contact customer service because you can only do that once you've placed an order, so I'm stuck.

If I could give a negative review I would. This app has gone from bad to worst to a nightmare to deal with. Uber pass is a scam, delivery and service fees are a scam and exorbitant for the service being provided. There is a 4.99 delivery fee for a restaurant literally 5 minutes away from me and I have uber pass. Buy one get one free fees are so hiked up that you're basically paying the actuall cost for two items. I've deleted the app before and I'm about to do it again.

Usually good, but recently I found out that some promos are getting skipped for no reason. After spending almost £20 on minimum £15 to get the promo I got told that the restaurant was not in promo...but I clearly was since I clicked on the see eligible stores and it was the first on the list. Instead of looking in to the problem the customer service just field the need to tell me that they won't be able to amend my ored fee.

The app asked so I decided to re-review. I enjoy the app and service for the most part but I have it 3 stars mainly because I noticed recently a funny little thing. I accidentally bought a year membership to the Uber one subscription. From my understanding in this subscription there are restaurants that you should be able to order from with no delivery fee but somehow when I select these restaurants right before confirming my order there's always a fee. It's odd to me.

The service provided by this app has improved, but the price gauging is crazy. They increase the amount of the meal compared to the store, & then charge a service & delivery fee on top of it. The suggested tip it's set at 15 % for delivery, if you happen to change the option to 10 % the amount of the tip does not automatically adjust. They are making consumers pay extra fees to cover the refunds they owe us, & they pocket the difference.

Doesn't have the best selection when comparing to Skip the Dishes, I find they have a few more options (these are the only 2 food delivery services near me), however the customer service is fantastic. I've never had any problems with delivery or the driver, and I really appreciate how you can change the tip at the end, because sometimes I feel my driver deserves more then what I've given them, which you cannot do on other apps.

The customer support on this app is the worst I've encountered anywhere, ever. They often fail to provide any useful support when things frequently go wrong with orders. They charge more for delivery and fees than the other apps and just want to make as much money as possible with the least possible effort. When things go wrong, the support agents act like it's yours fault and won't issue refunds until you've contacted them multiple times. They don't read your messages and copy paste replies.
