UC Browser - Fast Download

Very well done is the easiness to go back and forth in visited pages. Chrome, Firefox are zero in that. Bookmarks management is better. Drawback: UC Browser is not faster at all, often slower then Chrome. It happens often that pages do not show up (stay white), or in disorder. There is obviously some incompatibility issue. History management is bad, not even a search function. Rather useless. Desktop icon disappears randomly and always when rebooting the phone. I dont even put it anymore. ..

From my experience using this browser on multiple devices I have to say that this browser is really not that good. The only reason I'm giving this browser three stars instead of two is because it's the only browser I know of that can download torrents, I didn't actually try downloading any torrents though. Anyways, it's pretty slow on most of my devices and even on the one device where it wasn't slow, it's still not the fastest browser I've used. The built in ad blocker didn't actually seem to block ads, even with the powerful ad blocker turned on. There are some sites that I tried that think this browser is outdated. Also, while I don't mind the built in video player, I noticed that, at least on some sites, it would cause an issue where if you tried to full screen the video too fast it would just show a black screen. Then I also had a device specific issue on my tablet (HP 7, running android 4.1.2), where almost every website gave me an error saying that the connection wasn't secure and it refused to let me use those sites. I didn't have this issue on any of the other three devices.

This thing is still using Chrome 78. It's an insane security risk, that version of the engine is approaching 3 years old, with the expected number of security issues. In addition, some pages aren't displayed correctly, since newer web features aren't supported. Using this in 2022 feels like using Internet Explorer in 2022, I'm surprised it's still working at all.

UC browser is great, I love it. But there seems to be a lot of issue with this version. 1) Once the download fails, no matter how many time you retry it,it just wouldn't. UC browser wasnt like this before,please correct it. 2) Interruptive & too many Ads 3) Background download seems to be failing sometimes...

The app is irony itself. They offer you an ad-blocker in their app with built-in ads. No matter how you turn on the adblocker, it would not get rid of the ads everytime you open the app, and its unnecessary news feature is very data-consuming. Never install this on your phone if you want a good browser. After 10 years of usage, the app went downhill. I'll leave this abomination for good.

UC is getting from bad to worse. More and more bloated, keeps hanging, locking up, lagging. Full of bugs. Takes forever to open a page. Many times, cannot show images or open many sites. Many websites show a blank page. Your programmers seem to be idiots. And why, until now, there is no "SEARCH" or "FIND" facility on your menu, a very important thing which all other browsers have, even a simple one like Mint Browser ? Your programmers are incompetent.

I always enjoyed UC, but this version is one of the worst of all and full of bugs. I will mention 2 main mistakes. 1.Adds, the adds are way too much. Even if U choose to block the adds in the settings they still show up and like that wasn't enough the app itself has adds that blocks the whole screen. 2.The biggest problem is that the sites I haven't opened are in browser history preserved, so the data in history isn't my data and this has been repeated for a long time. I'm disabling this browse

Overall app is good and the interface is quite impressive and lovely, but the main feature it comes with is its fast download speeds, but this feature isn't a feature at all on my device, I started downloading 1gb file and it is still downloading after 3 hours!! While several times retrying! Even my Samsung Internet can download 1GB files within 10 minutes! At my home (I had to install this browser because some sites are blocked by chrome and Samsung Internet)

FIX THE BUG. I can't go back or forwards. I've been using this 4-5 years and only now for a few months I've had this problem, makes this great app totally useless. I waited for an update but no fix. FIX IT PLEASE!!! The specific website is 9anime.to, and it works on all other browser apps expect for UC browser where I can't go back or forwards.

Add block doesn't work for most adds, in addition UC's own adds are too frequent and annoying. The video player doesn't allow changing quality even if other quality options are present in original video. The download speed swings vack to 1-200 Kbps from 1-2 Mbps which is strange. Stores too much cache (several GBs), which of course is all useless data. . Used to be a decent app; now turned into a dissapointment. Its been a long journey but now its time to press the big button 'Uninstall'.

Ad blocker can't block pop ups. And also blocked ads also come out again it isn't actually permanent ( i actually did some research about UC browser re starting every time I leave the app for a moment and it seems the app takes way too much space of My GPU And leaving it seems to make The UC browser to crash and Re start. I think adding some kinda of a power balancing system )

I did have it rated 5 stars but for some reason it is crashing over and over at very inconvenient times. I've tried clearing the cache, history and even reinstalling it twice but still continues to crash. I even factory reset my device because I thought maybe that was the issue but once it all got set up and I installed UC, Under 5 mins.... CRASH!

I've been using UC Browser since I discovered back when I was in high school like 5 years ago, and I've always thought that it is the best browser for mobile phones... Until a couple of months ago, when it suddenly started crashing whenever it loads a website with videos or lots of images. Never had that problem before, and I thought maybe an update would fix it, but so far it keeps happening and I'm considering uninstalling the app because I think it's unacceptable that such a great app constantly crashes whenever I'm browsing websites I've browsed for years with no issues whatsoever.

I've been using UC Browser for years and set it as a default app. I liked how the bookmarks are saved and incognito mode. I don't like every time after you update, so many ads and nonsense news show up, but somehow I managed it. That was tolerable, but now I hate it. Two biggest issues by now. I was using it to watch video, sometimes it can be so buffering. Then I tried exactly same video with Chrome, much faster. After that everytime I can't open a page with UC, I try with Chrome, open right away. The second thing happens to me is that everytime I'm trying to type on UC, the keyboard would always disappear when you just start to type 2,3 letters. It never happened with other browser. I'm thinking it's time to change my default settings.

The old version was great and all, it was my go to app for downloads, I hyped and recommended to friends. Now downloads stop for no reason and restart sometimes when almost at the end, and it is frustrating. And the in app ads are annoying, also ad blocker doesn't work for some reason. All in all the old version was great, but this one sucks. Would look for an alternative and uninstall this if nothing is done. Thanks.

Bogus. This was an excellent app. Now it's slow, lags while YouTube streaming (on broadband WiFi for crying out loud) but the final insult is that I cannot turn off Facebook notifications which have been greyed out. So now my phone keeps getting multiple notifications for the same item. I do not have the inclination to spend time figuring out how to disable them, that is not something that should be set as a default. Deleting app, I'm done.

Its really good Use (0 1 2 2 5 8 4 1), this app is really great(7 3 7 4 0 1 9 4 4 8). But it consume to much mobile data too. I think it will be much greater if user could pick which video they want to see rather than playing all of them automatically. Maybe for some people might be not bothered with this issue, but i think there are others who have the same thinking with me. We really appreciate it if you would add an option to turn off video.

For years I have been using UC and it's been cool. Then all of a sudden, after an update, for the past 5 months, uc has been terrible for one thing: it doesn't run at the background anymore! Imagine having to restart it every time you move to some other tasks and losing the contents of forms you were filling ! This is just gross! If you don't fix it, I'm so dumping uc

I have been using UC Browser for almost 10 years now and had enjoyed almost every feature of its versions. I'm annoyed though this time with these persistent ads that show up everytime I start the browser. Even if I only closed it a few seconds, when I open it again there is an ad I have to wait for to play out. It's really annoying when I'm in a hurry to do something. Can't you limit the ads to play once a day?

UC browser overdraws my phone's settings even though I have not given any other permissions other than storage. For instance, it does not allow me to change my brightness when I'm using it. You have to use the brightness setting of the app. That's dodgy! And who know what hidden things are going on in the background. And it gets stuck a lot while on multiple tabs.

After new update, the apps crushed easily. Really anoyying. Please fix it. Btw i love this apps Edit: is it me or this apps really getting worse. I don't mind ads at all, but not when I watch video and it popped up just like that. And I have to refresh the site and start the videos from the start! Even when I lock the player, ads popped up from nowhere. Very frustrating 👎

The fast download is no joke, it works well and I love it. But when you pause a download to continue later, sometimes it doesn't continue, it starts over. Sometimes I see the full size of the video in my file manager and I can even pause the re-download and watch the full movie without a problem. Some other times, it doesnt complete so necessarily need to re-download all over. This has been a problem left unresolved in the updates. I can't keep re-downloading 900mb all over

Im annoyed. Ive been using uc browser for years now and i really liked it since you can download files faster. However recently whenever a download is finished, it keep on telling me that the file cannot be found. I tried looking for it manually but its not there! It is very annoying especially when you use data for downloading... Pls fix that problem. Ill reinstall it once you do.

This is my favorite Android browser to date. It is the quintessential app for my Galaxy Tab E. Not only is it faster than any other browser, but it has a smoother, customizable, mobile friendly interface too. It couldn't have a better set of loaded, on-board tools, including a premium ad-blocker. It took many years, but finally, somebody got it right! A+

This has been my go to browser for the better part of a decade but seriously, I do not know where to begin on the anguish this update has caused me. First it sometimes displays a blank page when I visit a webpage, then I download a video file and it somehow doesn't appear no matter how much i search for it. I also really hope the UC team will include a download scheduler function. All in all, great app.(before this update of course)

Dear team, Thank you for developing such a fabulous app. There is a request to not add unnecessary features such as music player, file sharing, video player, online streaming. I think it would be better if you could focus on improving the basic browsing and download features. Addition of the other features is increasing the storage uses which is meaningless.. Hope the change soon.

I like this browser for the player and for downloading stuff but I hate every other thing about it; whenever I open it, it immediately tries to use up all my ram and my data before I even start browsing for about a minute. Switch to a different app come back and you get a forced UC browser ad every single time. The ad blocker is useless, if I could turn off the web saving I'd do that too. If it wasn't for the two things I like about this browser, everyday I want to uninstall this app.

I have been using this app for years and recommended it to my friends. Well not anymore, I dont see the point of using this app now. Although they claim to have ad blocker, they themselves now pop up ads everywhere. After the last update, I can't even watch videos and if does load, I have to watch a youtube ad that plays a song for 5 minutes I can't even skip. With no change on the mext update, I am out. Maybe its time to try new browsers. Don't recommend this app to anyone, too many ads.

What the heck happened to the video player. It keeps on stopping at an image while the video continuously plays. The new update sucks so much. It used to be one of the best browser, now it belongs to one of the worst. Very Disappointed. Updates are supposed to fix bugs and errors and the last update actually filled the browser with more bugs and errors. Tsssk!!!

I use this app to read, and I've been using it for a few years now. My biggest issue is with it suddenly not fitting the text to the page when I read (it like fills only half of the page). I have to forcefully zoom it in and only when I zoom out, it will fit the page. Since last month it also stopped preloading the chapters like it used to, even if it still preloads other sites. Please look into it!
