Urgent.ly Roadside Assistance

Urgent.ly is your nationwide, 24/7, on-demand, roadside assistance app. No membership dues, no hidden fees, no waiting on the phone. Just up-front, flat-rate pricing due only when service is complete. It’s just like Uber, only for roadside assistance.
Faster, more accurate and more convenient, Urgent.ly’s free app lets you travel with confidence and peace of mind, so you can stop waiting, worrying and wondering when help will arrive.

NEW: We've added many new features for Android customers, including the ability to store a credit card, FamilyView (be alerted when family members need help), embedded promo codes (big savings!) and lots more!

How It Works:

· With a simple tap, request assistance for a flat tire, lock out, dead battery (jump start), empty fuel tank or mechanical issue.· We’ll automatically detect your precise location and dispatch the closest tow truck.· You’ll receive confirmation that help is on the way, who is coming and a precise time of arrival.· You’ll be able to watch in real time on your phone as assistance comes to your location.· Should you choose, you’ll be able to contact the driver directly at any time during the rescue.· You’ll pay for service via credit card only after service is complete and you are completely satisfied.

With FamilyView, you can quickly and easily set up linked accounts for those you care about most. That way they don’t have to worry about payment and you can watch on your phone in real time as a tow truck arrives — even call the driver directly if you want.

Urgent.ly provides roadside assistance and towing coast-to-coast and nationwide, including Washington D.C., New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston, LA, San Francisco, San Diego, St. Louis, Detroit, Milwaukee, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, Tampa, Seattle, Minneapolis, Denver, Orlando, Miami.

As a provider, getting paid is difficult!

Mic. S. Apr 3, 2018

As a service provider. I truely don't understand why people just don't google a local company's near them. You are paying for someone to make a phone call for you. If you called you local company you pay $75 or less. It depends on the service needed. Out of the $75 you are paying to this app and to motorclubs they only pay the driver showing up $30 or less. If you are wondinger why ETA take so long it has a few reasons: how many calls are ahead of you is one of the main reasons.

When I requested a jump start it asked for my card info, then a window popped up saying "You will not be charged until the service is completed" so I proceeded. I was then connected with a driver who confirmed the service is $75. I immediately cancelled the request, to which the driver responded "funds will be refunded to your account within the next 5-8 business days. This is illegal and it royally screwed me. Do not download this horse feces.

Do not waste your time with this app...it's garbage! Putting my card information in they told me I wouldn't be charged until services were done. I canceled my request for someone to come change my tire within the first 5 minutes and they still took $79 out of my account. I called customer service and they tellme I have to wait 3-5 days to put my money back on my card...for what though? Why was it taking out anyway? This app is garbage and you have to go through too much to get someone out to you, that is the reason I canceled my request.

Awful. Paid for a jump. They sent someone who didn't know how to jump my car, and had to pay extra for a tow. Once at the garage, they immediately jumped my car, and everything was fine. Annoyed that I had to pay twice for something due to staff incompetence. Don't use.

Not worth it all. Stick to your regular Tow Trucks. I requested roadside emergency service and the tech told me it was too dangerous to attempt to change my tire so I was then almost charged 40.00 for a cancellation. I didn't cancel, so why charge me? Don't waste your time. The only positive outcome was that they didn't charge me for anything.

Used this app at about 3:25am and they were out at my vehicle within 25 minutes. Excellent service and highly recommend it.

Scam. I paid 75 bucks for service in "15 minutes". I ended up waiting 90 to be asked what I expected him to do. I called for a flat tire repair because I didn't have a spare. Why would I call if I had a spare? 80 bucks for 5 minutes and being told I was SOL. I asked for my money back and didn't get a response for a MONTH. Instead I got charged a "cancellation fee" of 40 dollars. I didn't cancel anything, and I wasn't helped at all. Been a week since I heard back why I should pay at all for a 5 minute chat.

I'm not sure about this app. I requested that it tow me from one side of town to the other which is less than a 15-minute drive and it told me the toe cost would be $6,054.

I used this because I was out of AAA services for the year. I had tried another app, but my vehicle is 20+ years old, so it would work...so I gave this a shot. Despite 3 service vehicles being less than 20 minutes away, it still took over an hr. And no time updates on the app. Pretty disappointed this cost me $65

I was really impressed to see so many choices nearby. These folks have done their work to ensure good geographical coverage. The interface is super easy to use and makes sense. Great job!

App is just a finder service. Providers did not respond and customer service was worthless.

Gre. E. May 16, 2017

Wants access to my pictures. Why? No need for that. To invasive.

AK. Mar 17, 2017

$70 for a battery jump? Yeah, no thanks. Might as well buy an AAA membership for that price. Uninstalled.

Take AAA and streamline the process into a very cool APP, and you have Urgent.Ly!

Tho. A. Oct 18, 2016

If i ever need it the app will come in good use. Thanks

In an emergency, this is a good app. However, it takes forever to get help. I got a flat tire on an off ramp and sat there over two hours with a screaming baby, waiting for a tow truck to bring their jack to change the tire.

I have not used the service yet, just signed up to get in on the iPhone7 drawing that is currently going on by downloading and setting up the app on my android phone. However, I wanted to say something in reply to the horrible review from "Thomas" and his comments about the "horrible pricing with Walmart battery jump packs being only $30 and way less than the Urgent.ly jump service"... I must say that if you are stuck on the road no where near home and no where near a Walmart with a broken down car and you're also NOT a "preexisting" AAA roadside assistance member paying at least $70 per year or more, then this "Urgent.ly" service sounds like a great deal at a "reasonable" price for the services offered. The services they offer sound like they instantly give you access to a guaranteed "AAA" type service if for those of us who are not already members. I can say that if you don't have a existing service like "AAA" and you break down then start calling random garages out of the phone book you are going to get taken to the cleaners and pay a lot more than these published Urgent.ly rates and who knows what type of customer service you will be getting~! Go Urgent.ly great idea!!!

It's okay. However, I can't put in my truck because it's year model isn't on the list. It's a 1999 model year and the scale only goes down to 2011 as of the time I am rating.

Tom. D. Aug 30, 2016

$59 for a jump? Wal-Mart sells portable jump packs for $30. This is a complete and utter ripoff.

Cal. G. Aug 27, 2016

$59 for a jump start. Not the cheapest around, but maybe it works for you.
