it was pretty good when i used my bluetooth altho after a while (opening on different occasions) its like 55% chance it would be completely terrible. my phone doesnt have the gyro thing but when my bluetooth headset is on or off it effects the thing so it makes it impossible to look at a certain direction and you have to tilt or look at a completely different directions. (other than that it worked like a charm)
Excellent app! I have been looking for this for a long time! It is all in one place However I would like to suggest a static option and a slide show option when viewing images. It is fun to view memories in a vr app. Atleast for me. I hope you consider this. Thank you! You have 5 star from me.
Good app. Alot of settings to play around with. You can make regular 2d videos work with the VRgoggles although it doesn't look as good as stereo 3d videos, it still looks pretty immersive for what it is. Personally i love viewing my environmental artwork in a sbs image, so 5 stars from me just for that alone.
The best 3D or even 360 player I've used so far. I've been changing apps since I bought my vr and I was facing a lot of problem. Some had only cinema hall effect but can't zoom in. Some were unable to play high end movies like more than 7 GB. Some were able to play those but there was delay or sound problem. Only thing I want in this app to change is there UI. It looks very old.
The adjustments are in 2D and so is my mouse??! And this is the best one on the market are you freaking kidding me?!! It's impossible to tune! take it out of the holder put it back in, take it out back in, and take it out put it back in..... all the while the center keeps getting messed up because the gyro self ajustments. I take it out do the adjustments then they are always all off I've spent an hour setting this up unsuccessfully. It would be so much easier to adjust this with my mouse. Sigh
Mostly a great app, the only issue is that 2d videos drift qsomething fierce, the antidrift feature doesn't work at all. As a result, under these circumstances the app is practically unusable. If this could be fixed I'd gladly give a 5
This is easily the best VR player on google play. I've tried each. If I could offer constructive criticism, create an option to disable the red dot on the control view, add an opacity slider for the controls and change out the VR control switch for a gesture control such as a yes/no shake. This would put this app experience over the top.
Excellent Viewer!! Plays all kins of 3d, sbs, and VR videos. Easy interface and tons of customization, you can quickly dial in the perfect picture for your particular file and away you go!
Was the best VR app until it can't play most formants anymore, those days it could have an option for plugin codecs without I can't see anymore. Keeps saying connecting while trying to play a local downloads mp4 video.
This is coming for those with low-middle range phones (meaning they lack a gyroscope): From the choices of VR Vid Players, this is the best choice. I've tried other recommended players but this is the only one that works. There are screen movements issues. Fix it by recalibrating the compass/accelerometer. Also, if the video starts to pixelate. The fps is too high. Convert the video to a lower fps. Other than this, the app is perfect.
Had the Proversion that I paid for so no Ads, change phone and download from my apps and I having bloody Ads???????? , Where the hell is the version I paid for fgs? Oh and where'd the Network feature go? Now I have Ads plus need to p around copying files to a new phone + buy a bloody SD card now. Ridiculous Can't even access the SD card and I've had to uninstall it twice because navigating the folderstructure results in a / @t the top and I can't do Frack ALL¡!!!!!!!!?!!!!!!!!!
It's better than other vr app I have used. The only problem is that its sometimes not smooth when watching videos from your gallery. The screen goes dark with brightness control too. You need to fix this please. Nice job through.
Need update about the setting and the pro version....firstly about the setting, its not constant. The next video played or replayed, the setting is reset. The pro version can be added to remove adds and can watch video from youtube and movies from browser such as chrome on any website(not from local storage)...If possible.I just want to express my ideas bcoz this app is great than other vr apps :)
I like what it's trying to accomplish here and it almost even pulls it off without errors. The worst part about this player is the controls and how they handle and are set up. With a few more updates this app should work really well I would personally think. So 3 starrs for now and quite a way to go before I would ever think about calling this a 4 starr worthy app.
About the best VR movie player I've found, and I've tried a lot of them. My only complaint is it's too easy to accidentaly click on the setting and especially the timeline bar, completely ruining the expierance... Give user control, a button where we control the pop up menu
Won't let me load a video from my SD card. I like everything about the app but that. The settings to adjust video are great, but if I can't even load a video then it is not worth my time.
Great app especially when watching movies... The size of the videos are so monstrous just like being in a Cinema. Also can you enhance the settings for Techno Phantom mobile, it does not maximize to the whole screen. Also If the developers could add a playlist for the videos where one can arrange a series of videos for ⏯️ play would be so great.
Last update was 2017... So sadly I don't think the developer is planning on fixing any issues with compatability. This is so far the best vr player I've found but I can't get any controllers to work with it. 😕 My controlles work with everything but this app.. super bummer..
Can't get the darn thing to work! Wanders all over. Works as a viewer but motion is always screwy. A bunch of different formats with no explanations. To be fair, I'm sorta tech challenged, so it could just be me. But I think it should be more "VR for dummies" friendly. Not uninstalled. I'll try and get help to set it up properly and will update this review if appropriate.
The vertical static viewing experience makes me light headed most of the time. Some videos stays at "connecting" for a really long time. When I change anything on a video's settings, I lose the visuals. This app doesn't give me time to mount my device before it begins playing, it just starts right away.
Apparently above all the other similar apps out there. The only one which you can trust to play most of vr videos. I strongly suggest downloading. Pros: -Easy to use and user friendly, -Support majority of vr formats, -Adaptive to variety of vr boxes -Manual and auto control of image Cons: - Outdated skin - Poor video position navigation
This is the best vr player I have known. But I have a problem with my device which have bigger screen. The screen is not properly centered, there is space for the android button. I already sent an email about this to the developers but it seems the email is invalid. Also sent to facebook but no one answered.
Good VR player, one of the few that displays properly on my phone with notch. And has decent onscreen controls. You can't browse through your files within the VR environment though. I wish I could watch stuff over smb shares though, that would save me lots of hassle copying large files over USB (which often goes wrong half way through).
Excellent video player app, I would like to request if the developers could add the ability to run on the background and display other apps etc in split screen SBS, so for example, if I load up moonlight stream app, VaR's would change the screen to output split SBS 2D theatre mode. Basically to display my android home screen and all apps in SBS mode.
Not calibrated out of the box. You'll need to spend some time tinkering with the settings before you can watch your videos. If you have eyesight problems this should work for you, it offers more setting options than most vr players.
I like the controls and versatility. However, I have yet to figure out how to make it browse. There seems to be an issue with the brightness control too. The screen goes black if you so much as go near the brightness slider.
It has some kinks and some quality of life things that are missing. But it has all the options for moving and warping the images to best match your goggles. Although you can ruin the frame rate with a lot of the adjustments
It works and has a lot of settings that other apps either don't have, or have locked behind multi-touch gestures. Like Zoom, fish-lens, and distance between eyes, its the best... on paper. There's one problem I ran into, the fact that if I play a 4K video, it'll lag. I could dismiss it as just my phone not being powerful enough (S10+) but the same video runs just fine on other apps. So maybe the settings I just praised are actually putting enough weight to cause issues on higher-res? Uhm...
