The app used to work fine, but now there are many issues. The biggest being the search option. Even after clearing all filters, the items I chose to search for were not able to be found. In fact, any item I tried to search for could not be found! It is also annoying that you can no longer choose a time for pickup until you are at the checkout screen, not the screen where you choose a store etc. Many changes made to the app made it much worse and it is not very "user friendly" anymore.

Great opportunity to save time by having this as an option. I'm always able to stay in budget, as it gives me my running total. timeliness of the pick up is almost always fantastic. The staff has always been super kind. I wish there was an option called "most bang for your buck". Being on a budget with a single income, I often try to search my cheapest options. In doing so it gives me the cheapest (end) price, but not necessarily the cheapest price per weight or item. This would be a cool gain!

New to the Walmart app. It has some issues including slow to navigate (glitchy) sometimes freezes up, the searches aren't always relevant to my filter choices, it also shows the same items over and over, page after page, in search results. For examples I searched for a specific style of patio set and it returns a huge variety of items with the first 10 or so items always being the same through each page of results. I like seeing how much cash back I'll get using my Walmart MasterCard.

I should've NEVER updated!! The update has done nothing but create "technical difficulties" when I try to search for items. I can't even add items to my cart anymore, so therefore I'm unable to do grocery pick up. I just did the newest update hoping it would fix the issue and still not able to do a single thing! Super frustrating for someone who prefers grocery pick up and now I'm not able to do it.

Update absolutely ruined the app. Lost all the things that made it good. No map of products, half of scanned items "not found". UPDATE.. Still most items not found 5 months later! I've become a "member" the scan and go app prices are in some cases up to $2 higher than the posted prices. Ive pointed this out to the customer service desk. So not only do i pay for the membership, but i have to pay more for some items.

Absolutely awful experience. I picked items and added to cart. When I went to edit items and place order, app either takes me back to shopping screen or shuts off completely. No way for me to finalize my purchase. I contacted customer support and was advised to log out, uninstall, then install the app. Did all this and still doesn't work! What should've been a quick and easy experience is turning into a day long hassle. Sticking with Amazon.

Sadly, I find the Walmart app insanely confusing, although I've been using other shopping apps effortlessly for a long time. With Walmart, I can't tell what fees are being added where, when nor how. And it's a bear finding all the items I want for the same type of delivery. The app doesn't have the most attractive nor friendly user interface. I think a more professional design would really improve the shopper experience.

Horrible user interface. Difficult to search and sort. Maneuvering between things to compare is not easy. Absolutely HATE checkout. App pre separates them into store pickup and shipping. Moving items from store pickup into shipping is a nightmare or impossible to do. And my last order somehow switched from regular delivery to delivery from store??? I'm sure there are going to be added fees automatically charged to my account that I absolutely did not sign off on. Terrible app.

I love using the app to order groceries! The reason for 4 Stars instead of 5 is the search feature. Everytime I search an item, I have to scroll through a long list of stuff to find what I'm looking. Walmart search should be like Google search! Show me what I'm asking for. 😉 The ability to scroll down "my items" list when shopping is great and almost makes up for the terrible search function.

The app is mostly easy to use. I like that it has a fading notification of removed pickup list items, for verification. The user interface is slightly jumpy, and could look more aesthetically pleasing, though. It definitely meets my needs in being clear on items, and availability. Also in it's convenience. Overall worth using the app, especially if you already shop at Walmart anyway.

Original review, September 2021: The recent app update was the straw that broke the camel's back; I have since switched to Amazon Fresh and canceled my W+ subscription. The new experience makes it difficult to determine which items are available for delivery vs package shipment; if one wants only delivery items you must apply a filter after every search. Express delivery is totally gone within the app, or is impossible to see the option based on time or day or individual items. If you value your time and sanity don't download. I came back to the app 8 months later in May 2022 to see if anything had improved - the answer is no. Everything that made the experience bad is still there. Walmart doubled down in their press releases to emphasize how much this was a win for consumers, and ignored everyone clamoring on Twitter and the Google Play store that the changes were not good. I tried one last order in January 2022 which ended up being canceled by the store for unknown reasons. As of May 2022, my last time successfully ordering from Walmart is still pre September 2021 when I ditched Walmart Plus and the app.

I'll give the App and experience I've had so far 3 stars, I'll see how my pick up tomorrow goes. My first time experience was a total nightmare! 11 missing items, never informed items would be missing or were missing at pick up, even though I encountered 3 different associates, never received an email or text and I was charged for my WHOLE order! Spoke to a mgr at WM today, she made everything almost right, so I'm trying the app one more time! We'll see???

I have a Walmart premium account with free delivery. I love it! We started having groceries delivered during COVID but It has been so nice that I don't ever want to shop again! There are some little issues with replacement items when something is out of stock but nothing I can't deal with. I have just learned how to add substitution preferences when I order. To have everything delivered to my front door is amazing!

The ordering function never works properly. I will schedule for a delivery and as I am adding things to my cart it will change the delivery to a pickup. Items that are listed as available in-store will try to ship instead of arriving with the rest of the order on the same day. The app has minimal functionality when it comes to placing orders for delivery. Lots of contradictions

The app is very badly set up in order to place an order online, to deliver from store, or to pick up in store. These options should be completely separate tabs in the app and search results in that tab showing ONLY items for that option. It is SUPER unhandy and SLOW to have to manually check every item's listing to make sure that it is compatible with my choice of delivery/pickup. And even then, I get to checkout and have to go re-add items because they are pick-up or categories i don't want!!

I really like the app! One thing I could suggest is to be able to edit quantity or save for later- items that are not available for delivery in my order when pop up shows. I must go back to change quality or save in my cart for later and and it's a little frustrating.. Thank you! keep up the hard work!!

I appreciate this app, it gives me the freedom to get groceries delivered to me and they are always on time. You've had to do a lot to this app to have all the extra features, making life easier on people during this time of pandemic. I gave you four stars because you haven't quite worked the bugs out. It lags. Also, it removed items from the shopping list. I continued to check it and it kept removing them. The online shopping tool still works so I was able to shop. So please fix!

Update...don't pay for annual subscription...doesn't matter if the app works if the store can't keep up. We have struggled to try ordering deliveries for months. This last was the final time. 25 of our 56 items were marked as out of stock only 24 hours after creating the order. Stopped by while out and found majority of items on the shelf. Don't use this or pay for annual fee.

Ordering and paying for the product was fairly easy, but trying to click the option pickup in-store and view the quantity in store was a nightmare, there was no way to figure out if they had any in-store so I could pay for them online and pick them up later today! Tried calling the store but nobody was in that department, sat on hold for 10 minutes!

First off i think it is crazy that you need to pay for a membership in order to get a more accurate in store price. Setting that aside now when I use the app to scan an item to get an estimated price, it has issue with distinguishing the item so it tells me I have to enter the SKU number manually and even doing that it still cannot find the item. I have tried to scan multiple items and this keeps happening.

I installed this app to take out the guess work of the prices in the store. For the past 2 weeks I have been receiving a no item found message on every item I've scanned. This has happened within 3 different stores! I've uninstalled and reinstalled it with no luck. They have removed every price check scanner in their stores, so the only way to check a price is go to the checkout or customer service!

I've had lots of complaints and for many months I had changed this rating to a one star review. I've since updated my score because they have fixed the scan and go feature to work in more than one store without having to reset the app completely. It is still a little glitchy so I'm reserving the last star for when the bugs are resolved. But otherwise this is a really, really great app so I hope they fix the scan and go future completely.

Why?? I have an awesome tablet and I want to use it! My eyes are going bad and I cannot look at the small screen or keep zooming in! PLEASE optimize your app to auto-rotate to allow landscape mode. Many apps do that just fine. I can imagine many have this issue, and the experience would be greatly improved with this update.

the shopping list used to be nor euser friendly. I could place items on the list, sort by aisle and let this App walk me through the store while picking up the items on my list. unfortunately, I can't figure out how to do this anymore because now the shopping list defaults to a store pick up option instead of allowing me to use it as stated above.

I LOVE LOVE the convience of shopping like this but what I'd strongly suggest is that when your shopping and have chosen the store of choice and the items are out of stock it should tell you what stores have it to choose from right then & there. It's a headache to have to constantly go back to different stores to see who has everything on your list.
