A really fun action packed robot fighting game, I really like it, there are tons of playstiles and customizable aspects to fit any play style. However, as you progress in the game, you need to spend money in order to be able to fight with all the other people who pay money. Also, Pixonic does regular updates where they add new things, which is great, but they also NURF (make less powerful) things after people have already bought it, making it a huge waste of money.
WHAT AN AMAZING GAME!!! Only 1 small issue is that occasionally, it does fail to load the server for me and I am forced to leave battle and receive a penalty. I have tried to wait it out but 20 minutes later and it's still a blank screen, the only thing actually loaded being the settings button and the health bar for some reason. It is a great game though and ever since it was still beta, I've loved it!
The game is telling me to update to the new version but when I try it wont let me. I uninstalled and reinstalled it so it would update automaticall⁸y but it did not. Plus they took most of the "watch the add" to receive progress and and currency. Now it just feels like a pay to win game. Thinking about uninstalling permanently. This has happened twice
Love the game I like how you can choose from alot of different set ups on the same robot and the game wait time is not long at all. The only bad thing it seems like if you don't spend money it's hard to get good things out the special boxes that you earn keys to open I get the same things over and over that aren't very helpful. Just takes alot of time for a very small reward. But other than that the game is Great.
Without even a close second, the best mech shooter on either platform. War Robots used to be easier to play and recieve rewards, but then it didn't offer flying mechs and some of the most innovative weaponry available. I've played for hours in the past without it becoming predictable or tedious, now I just play to boost my self-esteem. Bwah, ha, ha, ha. Download and be patient, the rewards are great, the battles memorable, and gameplay never bores. Truly an excellent game.
Since the latest update the game freezes frequently, at times it doesn't even load up. Please fix this issue, the game is no longer fun to play like this. Now purchases are being charged but not getting the items, also freezing up has cost me a superchest, during the roll it just kept rolling long enough I had to stop and restart the game after 2 minutes of watching it keep going. This new "update" trashed the game
Many thanks PIXONIC for your excellent and rapid customer services yesterday and for an awesome game... happy to say I'm now back into my account. 1 worrying thing... I don't see much of a change in the latest version, maybe it's just me but I can't find the new battle ground in the usual place and can't see much has changed which is cool as it's still an awesome game and as they say... if it ain't broke why fix. :) p.s back to 5 star rating.
Champion League player of 5 yrs. Yes, it can be expensive & It can be frustrating. It's not an easy game. It takes skill & a lot of practice to not only become better, but to understand the game enough in order to develop effective strategy. BUT, it can also be incredibly FUN and the community built around this game is just as incredible. There have been very noticeable improvements and my favorite game is back!
Great Game, but there are some technical issues like in your Ads in either to speed up upgrades, components, Daily Missions because sometimes they frequently say "Video playback connection failed". This sometimes happens even though I have internet connection, it's irritating at times since I still have to watch the 30 second ads and not get any rewards
It's a good game and i enjoy playing it but like many other reviews say, it's a becoming more and more of a pay to win game. There is ways to get some good equipment but it's very very tim consuming and there's a good chance it would be nerfed before you even get it. Why work so hard for something when a person can just pay for it and be 100 times better than you. It's hard to even call it a skill game, I honestly believe the only people winning are the creators who get all the money.
I'm really trying to get into this game but the flying is ridiculous, you can't control your bot while in the air, which is beyond frustrating, even if you walked off a ledge you can't use your robot to fly. Also, you can barely move around At All, so good luck trying to get out of the way. Came here from mech Arena because I was so sick of their pay to win Junk, but this one just seems underdeveloped. Slowest game Ever!! Unbelievable... Smh
The game glitches heavy during gameplay makes it difficult to sight targets. Also keeps freezing on different load-up screens when making transitions. Also keep buying and getting power-ups used by all my robots during battles, seems like more than half the time they do absolutely nothing. No more damage, less cool down or faster-moving robots etc. I run this game on my cellphone on game mode, I install the best graphics and have the screen refresh rate at its highest level.
Needs serious redo. Some robots do way too much damage and ruin the match for everyone. Way too many offer pop-ups. I have to decline 20 offers every time i load the game and again about every other match after that. The reward system is totally jacked, not enough rewards for how much there is is this game, and theres a bit much to be honest. The games a mess. Really check it out before you try to play
Early last year this game would have gotten 4 stars minimum probability 5 but it really started going downhill. I have no problem with the game itself. It's just that it has become a pay to win platform. Flying robots that reflect damage back to you is great but you almost have to pay to obtain that and it makes the hard core grinder using Leo virtually obsolete. When Leo used to be the most powerful thing on the battle feild. I really do hate to give such a bad review.
