Stupid app. Don't tell me to reset my network. These developers clearly don't care. Horrible app. Maybe TBS will be easier to watch Dynamite Since October of 2021 your prestigious app keeps crashing. TBS ended up being the same developers and it also crashes. And once again I don't need a troubleshoot step by step. TNT and TBS app are the only apps in my phone that crashes. Couldn't make this up.
Don't ever exit this app if you're watching something. You'll either be greeted by an error that they can't play your video or the same 3 minute ad. Oh open it in a pop up window you say? Hope you like it resetting to the home page every time you move the window or adjust the size and then you get the 3 minute ad again. Every. Single. Time.
This is the biggest piece of garbage app in existence, embarrassing for a major network Thank you for your response... I have the same issue as all of the other people leaving 1 star reviews. The app crashes, if I exit the app to view a text message or something it makes me watch the advertising again, convenient when your airing NHL and NBA playoffs. You require people to be logged into their home wifi in order to open the app... this is the fundamental reason I am watching a game on my mobile device!!!! Again, I am appreciative of your response... I do not understand how visiting your weblink will resolve these development/programming issues. By requiring users to connect to their home wifi in order to use your app defeats the purpose of using the app on a mobile device. I am trying to use the Watch TNT app on a mobile device because I am not home!!! Additionally, when using the Watch TNT app, if I receive a text message and click out of the TNT app to view the message, the TNT app stops the video, closes the app and makes me reopen the app and rewatch approx 3 minutes of advertising videos. This is wildly inconvenient, especially when I am trying to watch a NBA or NHL playoff game, which you are currently airing.
This app is great when it works. After about a week, it began displaying a message "TNT may not be a part of your cable package". I acknowledge the alarm, went to my user icon to sign out, I got another redundant alarm, knocked me back to main banner instead of user menu. Finally just closed app, cleared cache & data, tried again, no dice. Uninstalled, reinstalled, logged in successfully. Watched some shows for about a Month and now it's happening again... on both TNT & TBS apps. Quiet annoying.
Doesn't work, Doesn't open, just closes. I have sent feedback multiple times and not resolved. Super annoyed I have no way of watching the nhl playoffs when this is my only option. Terrible job TNT, especially since you are the ONLY ONES AIRING THIS SERIES To answer your questions, yes, uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared cache and it does it on multiple devices. Even turned my devices off and back on, nothing works.
The app works as expected until it's time to cast to your Samsung television. Then it acts like it doesn't know what to do. It'll cast to my Google home screens, but not my TV. Their website gives you kindergarten level suggestions such as restarting the app, phone, or blaming it on the TV itself. Pretty aggrevating. With streaming as the future, TNT ought to pay more attention. People have been complaining about this for years now.
Using it to watch the 2022 NBA Playoffs. It certainly has the games, but there is no box score nor statsheet... If you leave the app to check those things you are met with some short ads upon your return (which I understand after say 5 minutes, but I do not after a 30 second absence). 2/5, would be 1/5 if the video quality wasn't solid.
Finally it started working then you asked if I was still watching! It was in the middle of the 3rd quarter. Now I'm back to square one. Watching a new set of commercials and only playing audio. TNT = total nucking trash. I work in IT, please don't give me troubleshooting talking points, I've tried them all. FIX THIS APP
Downloaded it. Quickly paired with my TV and hasn't skipped or stopped to load once on the Sun's game. Great quality. All these complaints. Sorry app works great. You just have bad phones. Can even use a different app on my phone while it's playing on the big screen. One of the better phone to TV streaming apps I've used
It doesn't cast as promised to my Samsung TV. The TV shows up and when I press cast, zip. Did everything again. No luck. Very disappointing. Very. All I get is a button with my TV listed and it just flickers when i press it but nothing happens on the TV with the app open on it as well.
This app is literally a joke. You click on a game and it just sits on a black screen. Still has audo but you cant see anything. Doesnt matter if you close, sign out, uninstall, etc. If i could give less than 1 star I would. The worst part is it has been like this forever so it shows how little effort is actually put into the app itself. Horrible- Edit- if you actually read the issue instead of giving me the general response youd see i stated the issues has been going on for quite some time. 🖕
The mobile app works fine until I cast to the app on my television. It pops up that my network doesn't authorize TNT. This is the same network on my laptop. I've tried to update and uninstall and reinstall. I get the same results.
I can't use the app because everytime I open it, my TV subscription and TNT app errors saying I don't have access when I do. Delete the data, cache, and the app and re install and still holds on to the TV login and errors. Freaking annoying.
The app automatically signs in to the wrong account and will do nothing but serve error messages. I can't log into a different account, and even after uninstalling the app it's still tries to load the saved user information. Just bad
This app is unusable and force closes before it even opens. These problems have spread over to tha TBS app too... Everyone can't be having "connectivity issues" where soft resets and multiple installs should even be considered "solutions," let alone tha only options.
After a year and a half how can you app still be this awful. 100% failure rate across all TV's and all devices. On the upside it's no worse than the TBS app, so kudos for that.
Everyone else's complaints are spot on. Logs me out every time, or tells me my carrier isn't supported (it is), and then tries to play this cat and mouse game where it changes the screen before I can click "sign out". Same goes for the TBS app. And the chrome cheomecast with googleTV app.
This app keeps crashing during commercials when watching the NBA playoffs. I keep switching between "East" and "West" to reset it. It happens on both my tablet and my phone. Ridiculous.
This app is always trying to buffer and it's been like this for over 3 years. It's gotten extremely awful especially during the NBA playoffs.. I see the response, 3 years is a large sample size.
Constant crashes on multiple platforms. On chromecast the tnt app crashes before it launches and that is now happening on their android app. [Edit] after a year, constant crashes are still a problem. Even after a fresh install.
Constantly won't let me watch live TV. Same cable provider. Just works when it wants too absolutely awful. Always skips over my sign in and then tells me success. Followed by your tv package doesn't include this. When it 100% does. Its pathetic honestly
Frustrating. It keeps crashing . I have uninstalled it several times. And reinstall and it just keeps crashing. Ridiculous. I can't even watch the NBA playoffs. When the app finally starts. I have sit through 15-30 seconds previews every single time than it crashes. Any game featured, i basically have to wait til it gets dropped on you tube to watch the highlights or ESPN. Very, very frustrating
