Mount your cell phone on something and use it to take better selfies, group shots, watch a live stream of your kitchen pot, cat, or anything else as long as you have Bluetooth range.

Touch the watch face to take a picture. Swipe right to close. Swipe left for options including switching cameras, flash control, and self timer. More features to come soon, but feel free to fork and hack at the code yourself and share your contributions as this is an open source project.

Needs more features for 5 stars, but good, solid and working. Seems to work on my urbane. Only thing I don't like is that the rectangle on the watch switches between landscape and portrait only when rotation lock is off on the phone. This is a minor annoyance because my phone is always locked in portrait, which doesn't affect the camera app, which still switches. The orientation on the watch should be linked to the orientation in the camera app, not the phone screen orientation.

It has never worked with my LG G3. I downloaded the google camera app and set it to default on my phone but it still launches the LG G3 camera and has never worked once. I think this is a great app idea but I can't use it. I'm giving it one star for compatibility reasons but if it can reliably work on my LG G3, I'll happily change the rating. Oh, the watch I'm using is the Moto 360. Maybe that is the issue that needs to be updated in the app. Dev replies to my email and got it partially working.

Works just as intended with OnePlus Two and Fossil Q Founder. Photos get saved to the phones photo folder as normally, although the app itself doesn't allow you to view them, but since I already use Google Photos for that, it doesn't matter. Only minor detail is that unless my phone's screen is on, it doesn't notice the orientation and takes all pictures automatically in portrait mode, but I think that's a problem on the phone's end.

First, it worked for my LG Urbane. Big plus, duh, but most of these apps don't tell you which watches they are compatible with. Second, it is super easy to use. The display on my watch face is grainy, but the actual pics from my Samsung are nice and clear. That's all I need in this app, I don't need anything else, no need to complicate things.

After Reading the reviews I wasn't expecting much, but other than the slight delay on the watch preview it works perfectly! Basic camera controls, but everything you need for quick shots. Photos saved with other camera shots. Easy and convenient. (Nexus 5 and LG GwatchR)

This camera works well with my Moto 360 paired with my Galaxy S3. It only seems to stop when my phone's screen goes dark, which makes sense. I'll have to lengthen my phone's wake time for any serious picture taking. The photos are saved in the "Camera" folder of my Gallery. I think I'll have lots of fun with this app.

Moto 360 w/ Oneplus One. The app is a remote view for your camera. Basic camera swap option, flash, and timer. Once you exit the camera app on your phone the watch image freezes and you have to close out of it on the watch before retaking pictures, not a huge hassle. Buuuut when using flash I get a weird half exposed line in the middle of the photo and the colors are different then when I use the factory camera app. Also can't use factory camera app photo modes like night time mode or HDR.

I'm using the LG G3 with the LG G watch, and initially it worked great! However, when using the rear camera it has been freezing a lot when it never used to. Also the face (selfie) camera doesn't work at all. It simply freezes. Other than that, the other features work: flash, timer, and turning on even when the phone is locked or on sleep. Please fix and I will give 5 stars!

Nearly works, only thing is I haven't figured out where it stores the images , counts down takes the shot but dosent appear in the gallery, also crashes on rear camera. Will give it 5 stars when and if the developer replies or makes a fix and update. For now it's really just a remote viewer. HTC Desire 610 and android wear 5.2 on LG G Watch R

Very useful. Works great with Nexus 6P. I originally complained that the preview image stays in portrait mode, even when the phone is in landscape, but everything seems to work as it should after a reboot. There is some lag in the preview image, but I think that's inevitable. Update: Still not consistently rotating the preview for landscape mode. Later update: Back where we started: images are always captured in portrait mode, even when the phone is in landscape. The is on a Nexus 6P running Marshmallow. Needs work.

Ok im using a nexus 6 and moto 360 and I can say IT WORKS in portrait and landscape mode USE THE DEVICE ORIGINAL CAMERA once you launch the camera app a banner will show up on your watch once you wake the watch up after that click and shoot and 3 second delay the picture is taken. I don't get why the app isn't working for many but it clearly does work and the photos go where the phones camera folder is. With all this said I'm happy I do wish there was more instructions about the app in the read me section

Took ages to discover the images are stored in built in memory not the removable SD card. /Internal storage/DCIM/Camera. None of my photo applications can find them and I have to use a file manager application to locate and open them. Works OK once you know what's going on

This is very useful! It works well for my Moto 360 paired to my Galaxy S4. The camera preview is great for using the better, back-facing camera on my phone AND still be able to live up shots well! Both front and back cameras, tap watch gave to take photo, take photos immediately or with 5 or 10 sec delay, use no flash, flash on, or auto flash. I wishes: 2 second delay (5 is actually pretty long), audible count down (from the phone (spoken "5, 4, 3, 2, 1, now!" would be awesome or beeps).

Works flawlessly on Smartwatch 3 and Xperia 3. Not found a real use for it but it's fun to impress people with such gadgetry! Would be excellent (and I would happily pay) if it had a setting that stopped the phone screen showing the image. Could then use it for security; see who has stolen my phone. Latest Smartwatch software means my watch even gets images from the phone if bluetooth is off and the phone is only connected over 3 or 4G. Real security potential there if the phone screen could stay off.

Please add selfie stick support! (Volume control takes a photo). I would love to be able to use my back camera on my Bluetooth selfie stick, but if I do, I can't see what is in view of the camera. This app would be perfect with the watch and able to pair it with a selfie stick.

Everything just fine except one thing, the most important , is the guide said that i need to touch watch face to take the shoot / photo, but it did not work at all.. I still need to touch my phone screen to capture a picture... Please fix !

Ron. C. Jan 18, 2015

I'd give this app five stars if the image was slightly larger to fill the screen on my g watch r.

Wil. V. Jan 4, 2015

I used it on my WIKO rainbow with LG Watch. It only opens the camera no capture the image when touch the screen. No options . No settings. What a waste of time. I found a other free one with capture and video recorder,zoom....

Screw them. Bluetooth is slow. Nothing this app can do about it. Has everything I expect from this type of app.

Can't find a lotation for pics looked through internel and sd card and no pics seem to have been saved anywhere

Great concept but it doesn't work on the moto 360. I have it downloaded on my samsung galaxy note 3. Please fix. I Uninstalled it.

I think the app works really well and does exactly what it says. I set up my phone and the range was really good as well after I went downstairs in the kitchen and was still able to see and snap a picture. The only gripe I have is one I've seen in other comments... Whenever I activate the app while my screen is locked, the orientation is off. It goes to portrait mode while the phone is sitting in the "landscape position". The result is that the picture on the watch screen is turned awkwardly.

It working with my lg g watch urbane connecting to my vega note .Even it can short without lighting the screen of my mobile.

Car. B. Oct 12, 2015

Works as advertised with note 4 running DarthStalker rom and moto 360 2, picture quality could use some improvement.

Ale. B. Jul 24, 2016

I like the app and it has worked well in the past. However, it no longer seems to be saving the pictures. I even tried to re install the app with no joy. Since I can't get the app to work I have dropped a 5* review down to 1*

Jam. K. Dec 25, 2015

Great app! The only complaint I have is that, even with my phone and watch set to mute, taking a picture causes the phone to sound a loud 'ding.' Note 5 and Moto 360 2nd gen. Sweet app otherwise!
