Messed up the functionality :( You used to be able to scroll to the right on n the Hourly Weather. Now it scrolls the whole screen. Why? Being weather aware is important here in NTX but now its impossible to see past a few hours. Really bummed. Please fix it. I dont want to swipe right to another screen. Just fix it please.

WFAA app keeps me up to date with the news whenever I need to know. The weather portion and updates are invaluable, second to none in my opinion. It is easy to use and navigate. I highly recommend this app.

I just uninstalled the app. I'd had the app installed for awhile. The only reason I installed it was because I wanted access to weather and traffic. The sports access was a plus. They were the only 3 notifications that I have enabled. I kept getting notifications for anything and everything that they (WFAA) decided was important. It's been worse since Covid and the campaigning started. You can turn off whatever you like but you will still get notifications on everything.

Used to be great but the last 2 updated have left it unusable. First they made it impossible to find stories outside of the top 7 they deemed important. Then this week the updated has caused daily crashes, VERY slow loading, and rather than a list on news stories (recent) or headlines with thumbnails (previous) the image for the story takes up almost the entire screen on the front page so you have to scroll far just to see what news you have access to. Uninstalling.

Everytime the app updates it clears my notification settings so I get every notification and I have to go back and change it to just weather. Every single time it updates.

I usually stream the morning and the evening news and this app is not user friendly and I can't even figure out how to turn on the news. Well had to uninstall the old app completely, the update would not work. Re installed the app and now it works but I don't like all the ads running across the screen during the live stream

I used to love using this app because the weather radar was very precise at letting you know where the weather was..warnings and other stuff. But now the radar is saying it is unavailable...

The new app is poor. This was my go to local news app but the new app takes too long to load with all its goofy start up screens. Then, once the app actually loads, you have to scroll for days to find any news headlines. I don't want to see pictures, advertisements and WFAA Originals and other garbage when the app finally loads! Why can't an app load fast and actually have news easily viewable?

Maps and stories only display as headliners (if you will) and when I attempt to click the link to see the maps or read the story, they don't open. I've tried to refresh, close and re-open the app again and again; updated, uninstall and reinstall - all to no avail. I love WFAA with that, I do not like the app.

I love you app for the updated news and have recommended it to others for the "reasons to smile" section. But now it's become very frustrating to watch the videos because I have to watch a 30 second ad in between each one. And that ad stays on the screen at least 20 seconds after it's over. No thank you.

Downloaded this app mainly for weather and local news but they DO NOT honor their preference settings at all. I don't care about sports news, not the cowboys, not the mavs, not the spurs, not any of it. I have all of these shut off and have contacted the WFAA several times on it but still constantly get spammed with push notifications about this.

Great app, but I get frustrated when I get a notification, excited to read that story, then redirected to a different story. Very basic website. Not streamlined for the most efficient browsing experience. Love the station and team, but this app needs an overhaul IMO.

You can't search for anything. Example Dart had delays today. There was nothing mentioned so I go to search and am unable to do so. These changes are not good. You should go back to old app or get the public's input and make changes. Since some people have deleted the app, if you ask for public input please mention on all of your news and GMT shows. Thanks. Just make things easier, simpler and detailed in the app so that we enjoy going to it. Not stressful and complicated. Vikki

They report on many topics that I find interesting. Page after page after page. Great job folks!

I often have a hard time getting consistent connection. Even no picture but audio last night. I have loaded and taken off the program several times over past two years, always hoping it is better. But it usually frustrates me enough to take it off my phone again.

This app would be five stars a few years ago but it is just out of date. it feels like the news is only updated every few days and the content is just extremely light. an example is there still talking about Christmas in mesquite and it's been three weeks since Christmas. Also very heavy on advertising. If you only were to use this app you would think that Dallas was a small town where nothing happened due to the lack of news content

The update for the radar was needed but half of the screen is covered with stuff, so I am using a different app for radar. I would prefer a layer option showing a 24 hour precipitation total. It may be somewhere but I haven't found it.

I love wfaa it is a great channel .the sports news and the weather are great. I love the weather graphics on channel 8. The weather is so accurate

I don't like the new update. I loved the old version and used it everyday. I don't like the print, the navigation, the increased ads, or how the weather is displayed now with the update. It is not as user friendly as before at this time ☹️

This new app is awful. Links don't work, the layout is terrible it's not easy to navigate to other stories...all around terrible app. Loved the old one and used it all the time, it was my go to app for news. I hope NBC has something better because I'm deleting this one.

Too many ads. No search function to find specific story. Not worth my time. Uninstalled it after 10 minutes, 2 of which was taken up by ads. I realize ads pay for apps, but there was an ad every time I went to a story.

Constantly getting advertising when a story pops up on the screen and when I tap on the story it goes to advertisement and blocks the story and it overrides the blocks and I can't get rid of the ads. I love wfaa but don't want the ads and can't seem to take either off my phone!

App has gotten more buggy since the new look was added. Overall, other local news apps still provide more news, weather and stories. The new look wasn't needed. Feels like there is more attention put on enlarging the adds than the text or articles.

Being a dfw implant (grew up in NY & Houston) and having just moved here last Aug from NH I needed a local news I could trust. I like this version of the app better than the old version. I would like to suggest developing another app strictly for local weather and creating separate severe weather alerts from that app. This way the news is the news and the weather is the weather.

Personally, could do without the "good morning afternoon evening" splash screen each time you open the app. Also, why an I getting notifications when I've turned off all notifications? That's not how notifications are supposed to work.
