Whova - Networking at Events

I did not appreciate being forced to use the app because the web interface is missing functionality. Watching videos on a smaller screen and typing using an on-screen keyboard while switching between devices (hey, people who attend work-related events tend to have computers for their work) is a significantly worse user experience and an accessibility barrier.

It is awesome app that enables you to easily navigate your favourite courses, and any courses that you want to learn and it gives free enrollment opportunity chances. Generally, it is very important application and I recommend to all of you who are needed different courses for professionally development, and personal development etc.

Great app to have for networking and attending seminars. It is very easy to use. Update 3/8/2022 I would love to encourage the community to use this app because it was very easy to use. It was beneficial to networking during the recent Rare Disease Day Virtual seminar hosted by NIH. Being able to download the app on my smartphone and have the option to watch on my laptop was definitely a plus. It was easier for me to text on my phone due to my limited arm mobility!

I have only used the Whova App once, but it didn't feel like a new experience due to the App's user friendliness. Navigating my way around its well coordinated features made the online conference appear like a physical meeting. It's superb for networking and thematic group discussions. Also easy to identify people with shared educational backgrounds and interests. I will recommend this App for anyone seeking bring together a global audience as much as a local one for brainstorming for sure.

This was my first time using Whova and boy was it an awesome experience! It was very easy to navigate, meet new people, follow the agenda, create your own by picking which events you want to attend, set reminders, locate and support vendors, get your questions answered, communicate with the speakers, and participate in live polls. The list goes on and on! Hats off to the mastermind(s) of this wonderful app. It sets high expectations for your next event.

I feel that as a first time user of the app, it is efficient, well structured, informative about each booth and has a fantastic phone and Web layout to help anyone figure out what to do or where to be. Captures content correctly and efficiently and allows for easy exports of all contacts your booth has gathered that day. I look forward to learn more. Well done team.

App is super useful for conferences info, networking and sharing a generated picture of your talk. Only downside although the app works well the ux isn't super clean and feels a bit old.

It was great using the app, it had a hybrid format and as in-person participant I was able to see all the information from the conference. As a speaker it was easy to interact with the participants. It had great options as to create meet-ups and conversation about interesting topics

Signed in with personal Facebook and this thing will NOT allow me to change profile. Deleted and re-installed signed up with LinkedIn but still personal Facebook shows up on attendance page. It should allow me to edit ... I edit but still the facebook photo and link show up on the attendees page ... And I also when to social media and connected and disconnected and re-connected .. but still just personal facebook ... BUT ... Whova worked endlessly to get my account straightened out! Up and running .... GREAT JOB!

This was my first experience with Whova. Usually don't like to download apps to my phone, but It was worth it. I could go between my phone and laptop computer easily. It was not difficult to navigate in the app. The best part was the connection with others. I venture to say, I interacted more than I at typical "in person" conference. Attendees could chat, create meet-ups, add photos, message others, ask the speaker specific questions, participate in breakout sessions from the comfort of home.

The major elements needed to make an app like this work, are great. However, the notification system is buggy. Messages that have been read keep showing as unread. If you don't use the app's internal messaging you might not even notice but if you use it a lot, it can be tedious to see who has been replied to and who hasn't.

The app is a great innovation. Easy to use with great options to engage with like minded individuals during events and even after,no ads the experience is just incredible 👍

I have just attended a 3 day conference virtually thru Whova. Amazing..helpful..outstanding customer service. Today is Tuesdsy( conference ended Sunday) I received an email of all of my personal notes,taken by me on this app, in one document, organized by the name of breakout session. Impressive ! Also...an email yesterday explaining where contacts are located. All personalized to me. Excellent!

Fantastic. A ton of features that all work well. A bit dated interface but that doesn't matter. Makes the conference so much better.

This app is very informal, I was able to see all the events, dates and times, messages from speaker etc..This app is great give it a try for all your business meetings...

The Leader board encourages more interaction and includes a simple "congratulate" button. Also, a notice is given when new photos and videos are uploaded. Setting up my virtual booth was simple and an example was provided. Navigation was straightforward.

Using the app allowed to maximize the benefit of the conference: further networking (before and after), checking the details of the event, putting together the pictures, communicating with the participants while in the event. Wish all event could be on Whova.

I really found using the app was super easy and I liked how we were able to switch to discussion rooms and back.I would recommend it to anyone

This is a very good application for meeting as I love the efficiency during the just concluded School Now Conference 2022 by the British Council. The best for me is the notification even when you have exit the app!

This app is excellent for manage and attend an event. Attendees can easilly visualize the agenda, and stay in touch with other attendees as well.

Excellent for accessing conference proceedings remotely. I had some trouble sharing my slides when presenting, as did another speaker on my panel.
