The app has extremely limited functionality, record, take pictures, view previous recordings. The setup menu has zero options, it takes you to a screen where presumably you can change the SSID and password but I haven't messed with that yet. Connection to the app is very finicky, during set up you have to follow the instructions exactly. 1. Install the app, do not start the app until you've completed step 2. 2. Connect to the cameras Wi-Fi, turn the camera on, the green light should start blinking, go to settings > connections > Wi-Fi and select the entry marked WIFICAMERA_***** (it may take a few seconds to appear on the list), default password is 88888888. 3. Launch the app, it should take you straight in with video showing, if it takes you to settings asking for ssid/password you may have to reinstall the app and start over. After initial connection you still have to make sure you are connected to the cameras Wi-Fi before launching the app. The camera itself doesn't seem too bad so far, I have no idea what the actual resolution is, it is very sensitive to movement so it can appear jumpy, the best focal distance appears to be ~1 inch to 3 inches. Also, initially it tried to install on a galaxy note 9 on android 8.1 but couldn't get it to run, I the installed it on an nvidia shield tablet running android 7 and it works there.
Could not connect the device to this app. I tired multiple times to install and reinstall and even rebooted multiple times and it would not work. I'm running android 9 and it might seem like the app may not be compatible for 8.1 and above. Not much support is provided. I tried the iOS app and it works and connects easily to the device.
This app is seriously flawed. Works on some phones, but not others. 1 of 3 Samsungs I tried will work. Note 8 doesn't work. Galaxy S8 doesn't work. Galaxy S7 works. Nokia nope. Needs to be fixed. Also, my VPN shows their website as harmful, and not recommended to connect!!
I have had the same issue with the "No Connection" issue, however I tried a phone that had no SIM card and it worked.. out of curiosity I removed the SIM Card from my Galaxy S7 and an S3 and they both started working as well... I have Koodo and not sure if it is a conflict with their coding. I think this is a huge fail on behalf of the ULife team and should be fixed
Absolutely worthless. would not connect on Note9. The app disconnects instantly if you are lucky enough to get connected at all.
works but found out app and camera will connect with older Android. anyone with android 9.0 beware. worked on my android 7. need to update app please
Needs the following features: force screen to stay on when app in use, resolution and fps settings, mirror image.
video works by when you try to play it, it just flashes on then off
No connection. Does not work
This app needs instructions, the developer should put instructions in the app description at a bare minimum, the app has no direction or description for what to do and is pointless without context
Cant connect. Forced closed
Fail. Does not work as advertised.
I was happy with the quality.
DOES NOT WORK - AT ALL
Won't connect. Password and ssid don't make sense.
Didn't work on Samsung Note either, but the camera's fine with other apps over WiFi. A good effort, but an inability to connect is unfortunately fundamental.
doesn't work, says 'no connection', even when there is.
Will not connect. Followed directions and restarted device(s), still no luck. Endoscope hd720p and LG G3 android 6.0, please fix for 6 stars.
