Worthless piece of garbage! Installed it twice, trying to give it 2nd chance. Same result both times. Default setting is 'meters per second', tried changing to 'mph'. Wouldn't let me! Froze up and had zero response to every 'tap choice' on the page with all the options on it. Basically an electronic boat anchor!
Doesn't connect to phone horrible device
Not Accurate. I've tried it many times since getting it. Didn't give accurate temperature. It's reading at least 5 or so degrees above what it is actually. Need to calibrate it all the time. I will continue to try but looks like $75 down the drain. Not happy at all :(
Junk. Wind meter will not connect. App is useless if you can't get the small windmeter to connect. Does not connect automatically and will not let you manually pair.
The device itself will only pair through the app it says but then you can't open anything in the app until the device is paired.
Worked fine on my iPhone6, but not on my new Blackview running Android! Tried twice without success!
Will not bring up wind meter or other pages on the app.. It dont work with Samsung S9+
I wish it could data log automatically with desired interval.
Tried to download it times. Won't work with Android S6.

Forget about using it on a Samsung S8. Very disappointing :-(

NO NO NO, just don't buy this product! The app is shoddy, constantly crashes, the meter is a complete tech failure too! I got it out of the box, it asked to calibrate the compass, so I did, all seemed well... But as soon as it turns off, everything is reset 😡👎👎 when you go to use it again, you have to calibrate the compass again (involves blowing on the fan and turning around in circles). Not something you want to be doing EVERY time you turn it on to use it. After a day talking to weatherflow, and questioning what was wrong with the app and why it crashed upon firmware update, they said they could repeat the issue but couldn't tell me when it would be sorted; great *sigh*. After email after email, including the correspondents not reading what is written and asking questions more than once, and then the problem passed onto other people at weatherflow again not reading the described problem I finally get someone telling me they think my meter is faulty, YAY 🎉🎉, and they would replace it for me as soon as I give them my address, the issue being that as soon as I've given them my UK address (I gather they were expecting US), they no longer reply to my emails. I'd have stuck it out to get the the bottom of the issues, but sadly it appears to be an unfinished business, selling unfinished tech, advising unfinished software; not a good combination at all. I dread to think what the reliability will be out in the field with Strelok hahaha Anyway guys, don't waste your time if you get issues. I've finally sent mine back to the retailer and settled for a cheap eBay anemometer which does the job fast and simple.
Samsung S8 latest software with WEATHERmeter. Cannot manually adjust any values after the readings are taken (temperature, wind, etc...) they revert back to original states after edits are made. Also clicking update firmware crashes the app.
Samsung decided to remove their weather sensors starting for the S7. This is my last Samsung. W&W is a great replacement though. It is more accurate than the android anyway. I LIKE IT! Great support too! Thanks guys

Have contacted support to be told that my device (sony xperia z2) was never supported in first place. I did a little research before buying and was never mentioned. Support are great, however twice now trying to get me to "upgrade" and update my review (fair enough it is a business). Genuine, excellent support. Not really liking the hard sell, simply to get me to update my review. Trying to be as fair as possible and going with 3 stars (simply for the help yous guys gave). Definitely could be 5 though!
Great tool, both the app and the device (WeatherMeter, the standard/blue one), but the app doesn't support screen rotation, and on my phone (LG G4) the headphone jack is on the bottom, so if I want to hold both devices together in 1 hand I'm looking at the app upside-down. Fix that one big #fail and it's 5 stars.
These app and device are not working with Sony phones. They DO NOT say it in any description, either when you buy the device, nor when you install the app. Had to buy, install and contact support to get the answer "I'm sorry for your trouble. The Sony z3 is not supported by our WINDmeter. The electrical circuitry of the headphone jack power supply causes erroneous readings. This is common among most if not all Sony phones." If you have a Sony dont buy.
Good app, but for those that only have your basic wind meter, an option to have the latest software without the blank displays for the weather meter would be nice. Update: saw some display options in the photos, updated to the latest version and eventually found out how to get to the options (press on a display readout and a list of data options comes up) not obvious as not in settings! OK, now give it 5 stars. SAMSUNG S4 Mini.
HTC One M7 android version 5.0.2. Massively disappointed. Tried the WINDflow meter, it didn't work with my app. Then I bought the WEATHERmeter which seems to be incompatible with weatherflow's own app, or at least seems to drop in and out of connection and randomly switch itself off and on. Documentation is non existent- I had to use YOUTUBE to find out how to change the battery. If it was possible to give zero stars thats what this would get at the moment. READ all the reviews it looks like this device does not work properly with Android. I have to concede that weatherflow support were excellent and did their level best to resolve my issues, eventually suggested that they felt I had a faulty device. Support did offer to change it for me, but I felt I had spent enough time and effort on it, and did not want to wait several weeks for this process. Just for clarity an operating DEVICE is needed before this app is of any use, hence the poor review.
The weatherflow meter doesn't seem to be working. The wind readings are correct, but the temperature is off and it wont calibrate. I breathed on the meter and the temp never got above 74. I went outside,when it was 34 deg and the meter never got below 50. The calibrate option only appears when the meter is disconnected or off. I've tried other apps and they won't calibrate either. I have a Samsung S8. I did try the app on a iOS and it did the same. I'm thinking it's the meter. Please help.
