World Chef

Played this game a bunch a few years back. It was one of my favorite games. But then they decided to make some changes, and it made progression impossible (boat upgrades would reverse overnight but still steal all my coins, expansion supplies not dropping, etc.) Now I'm back and the helper chef is annoying the daylights out of me. I know I need more meat, but I don't have storage. Stop taking up my screen with useless information. I'd like a way to turn him off please.

I do enjoy playing this game. Love getting new dishes & decoing the restaurant. However, what's really frustrating is the special events, where you can get a new chef or deco items. It's currently the spring one & I have 18/15 points for the 2nd deco. It's so stupid that my chance for getting the chef doesn't go up after getting the 15 points for the other items. The points just keep going into those. I had 13/15 for the valentine one & points kept overflowing the other 2. This needs to be fixed

Worse since Tasty Town came out. I love this game and have been playing it for a while now, but it seems that ever since Tasty Town came out, it's very glitchy and freezes up a lot. I'm not sure how the two would correlate, but it's very frustrating. Would be 5 stars, had this not started to happen. I don't even mind when it freezes up and shuts down, all you have to do is restart the app. But now, it's constantly lagging.

I really liked the game play and graphics. But the constant reminders from the chef were annoying, would like to have the option of turning him off. After learning the initial concepts of the game he isn't needed. Would have rather that he showed me where the market was so I could go when I wanted instead of him popping up all the time. I uninstalled this game because I found the tip jar very annoying. Giving players diamonds as part of the tip is good, however to only be able to claim them from a purchase was disappointing. The constant reminders that the tip jar is full and your losing diamonds was why I uninstalled the game. There is already a feature to purchase diamonds why not leave it at that? Also, it takes too long for some of the foods to be prepared. But overall the game play and concept are good and it is a fun game to play.

It's boring and gets repetitive. After a while you find it impossible to get gems and progress is very slow. I begin to just come on for the daily prize rather than the experience and I wish it was easier to expand. The game is okay but the gameplay needs to be more entertaining and progress should be challenging but easy and fun. Also, try to improve the graphics and STOP MAKING THE PEOPLE WALK THROUGH WALLS! It's so confusing because I have clearly placed doors. Finally, add more characters.

The animation are really great, I'll say that. However, for starting a new game, I'm not sure that it's good. I've had to start a new game because all my progress was lost. Now, the game gives me this option and process to "collect gems from the jar" but it later says I can't collect them??? It's upsetting because it won't allow me to skip it, and I've tried this on a different device and still got the same issue.

I honestly enjoy this game but watching the videos for the free gems is incredibly frustrating. I watch the entire video, and I even let it sit on the "install" page for 30+ seconds, but when I close out the video it says I skipped the video and won't get the reward. Sometimes it works fine, sometimes I need to watch 2-3 videos to get it to work, and then you have mornings like today where I swear I watched 10+ videos with no reward. Since watching the videos seems to be the only way to get gems for free, it's really super annoying that something that should only taked a minute and a half - 2 minutes (I think they let you watch 4 or so videos before cutting you off, so 4 30 second vidoes = 2 minutes) ends up taking 10+ because I'm not getting the reward correctly. If it weren't for the issue with the videos I'd rate this higher.

Like: Easy to play, fun, and different chefs Don't like: I don't like the fact that when I download this game onto a new device, the tutorial takes over before you can get back to your current level... For example, if you're on level 25 or 26, or higher, it makes you do the basics of the game before you can change back to your current level. Like most games, I wish this one would ask if you want to play or skip the tutorial so you wouldn't have to repeat these steps. Other than that, I love it

I was always such a fan of this game. I've been playing since the game's release, with my progress spanning 3 different phones that synced my progress each time I had to upgrade...until today. I got a new phone. I started up the game, finished the tutorial, and logged into Play Games and Facebook. At that point, the game is supposed to give you the option to sync your data and use your cloud save. This option never appeared. My 3-star restaurant? Gone. Years of gameplay wasted.

if I could give this zero stars I would. it was fun at first, but then started glitching. like A LOT. I dont mean the kind of glitching where it's just loading slowly, I mean like NOTHING made sense. all sorts of letters, numbers, and words were LITERALLY floating around everywhere on the screen. I tried everything I could to make it stop, I logged in and then logged out,I reconnected the wifi/connection, I did EVERYTHING, but no, THE PROBLEM WAS THE GAME. DO NOT DOWLOAD IT WILL WASTE YOUR TIME

The timers are way out of whack, nothing in a real restaurant should ever take more than 30 minutes to prepare.. It forces you to have to close the game! Not going to invest gems into moving food faster.. Not at all! And the game doesn't drop items needed to expand and upgrade. Gems are needed to make the game functional, I don't mind buying some but I'm not going to drop $20 a week to keep it functional.. Fix the timers!! Filling orders is the best part of the game!

Been playing for a very long time on and off, but one of my favourite games. VERY expensive if you want to buy gems, but not an issue of you're patient. I would suggest though maybe adding a little something extra, like mini games for example as I find myself running out of things to do while waiting on dishes and moving on to another game.

I absolutely love this game!...have played it for years...i just hate i am not able to store/save restaurant so when i switch or get new phones i always have to start over...this time around starting over i got back up to the chillout area/spent the 10,000 coins...i even got the reward for it but for some reason the game is not acknowledging it and so its saying i have to spend 10,000 coins again ...ive never had that problem before when playing and making back up to high levels...please fix

Gave this game 3 stars due to numerous issues. I paid $6.99 for the tip jar thinking this was a permanent 1 off payment only to find that I have to pay for it every time. Not happy and it just shows how money hungry the developers are. Also wasted a lot of time watching video ads to only be told I skipped it and no reward would be paid due to this, however you can't skip ads!? Also the market place should only be for selling dishes not ingredients. Other than these issues the game is addictive. Please fix these issues and I'll rate you higher!

It's starting to lose my progress and i hate it. I'll start the process of making a recipe, close out and go on with life. Open it back up to check it and is as if I never did anything. it's really disappointing bc I'm trying to participate in events and what not but I miss it bc I'm constantly losing progress. Please fix!

I enjoyed the game until level 8 and I had to expand for the first time. Before the expansion things were glitch and the game forgot my moves, however while doing the 3xpansion,the 8th square never expanded, pausing the game and then whenever I get back on, it sends me back to way before that, forgetting everything I had done in that game time... Please solve this!

the game items like the chainsaw for the trees and the vine yard not a good thing unless you were going to provide more often. other upgrading items need to be provided more often. this game is very slow to upgrade and looses intrest after awhile. you need to make improvements in order to keep the intrest. Also how do you build walls were are they found ?

There's some kind of glitch on the screen when you click on your level to review rewards you can get when you go on to the next level. An orange dashed block comes under one of the rewards. There's no writing but you can click on it. When I go to click on it, I lost 48 diamonds. I still cant find what I spent 48 diamonds on. I really loved this game, but now I dont even want to play anymore. The game is very glitchy than when I first played years ago.

Amazing and fun game! However, one thing... Are you reading reviews in Dragon City? Both are great games, but we have a few issues on Dragon City. My game is almost glitch free, but it's unstable on some devices. Also, I wrote a review in regards to the game. *Anyways, back to this game.* It's pretty addictive and I like the idea of making combinations of dishes into something very tasty. Pretty addictive and takes some determination, however it is all worth it in the end. Amyways, please try to fix Dragon City, and keep up the good work on World Chef!

I played this game a few years back then when it was really interesting, very realistic and very organized, cool interface and nice chef line-ups. I was totally addicted. But I stopped playing games for some reason and now I tried playing it again. Everything has changed! You don't care about your game or your customer anymore, you just ask for money all the time! You made improvement on chef but all for MONEY! Your game is only suitable for an age of 3 to 10 years olds.

I played this a few years back and loved playing it. Recently got a new phone and redownloaded to play again to find that a lot of the game doesn't like to render on my phone such as trying to make new food items with the cooks and it only shows a blue buffering circle for the choices I can make. Sadly I must delete the game and hopefully this review catches the developers eyes to fix this issue I would love to play it again with no problems.

For some reason everytime I try to get back into the game on my chromebook, the game literly keeps crashing on me where the screen doesn't function properly, it's in bits and pieces all over where one part of the game shouldn't be at but it is in a very glitchy state where everything is in a box state. I mean the screen moves and all but it's not a very good state to be at either where I can't play the game functionally.

Good game, good concept but dishes take way too long. It would be better if the chefs cooked multiple dishes at once instead of having to cook one at a time.. because then what is the point of purchasing slots etc? I feel ripped off. Perhaps a chef upgrade system where you can buy speed and performance upgrades would be good? Probably wont play again because of this. I cant be waiting 15-25 minutes for one dish.. it's ridiculous.

Everything was great until now. I bought sushi man. The preparing is done already but every time I try to open it game stops, screen becomes black and the game shuts itself down. When I open the app again I see that everything I've done before i tried to open sushi man is gone. And this repeats itself. I tried like 6 or 7 seven times to fix it. I restarted my phone but it didn't work neither. So please fix what's wrong.

I actually really loved this game. Loved the customization, the exotic characters and foods. I was on it a lot. But I unfortunately had to uninstall because it was so very difficult to get the necessary tools to upgrade storage for the foods and ingredients. Also to expand. It got way too tiring so I uninstalled.

recently re-installed this app, realizing that the main reason why i uninstalled it way back is because of its impossible ways of upgrading, the gems that are supposed to be added on my account is kept in a jar that i should buy with real money once filled. it's just ridiculous. if you can amend this, playing would be fun again.

Cannot restore my game. I spent so much money on this game a while.back. I now want to continue my progress but it's not showing my previous account. Yes I did link my playstore account after the tutorial and still doesn't show up. Support can you please help me out here. Thanks. I am liking this game however I cannot build any walls, and every time I add land I end up with open space. I went to the FAQs and watched the video and walls are not even an option under my decorations. Is this an error with anyone else's app? Also the Italian dudes food takes forever...seems very unrealistic that pasta takes 2 hours to make... but otherwise so far I have enjoyed playing. Hopefully the wall situation will be fixed

I love the game been playing a while I gave 2 stars but would of been five but I'm having problems, watching videos I wait for it to finish I presses the x then it tells me I've skipped the videos I've missed out on loads of diamonds because of it and on the videos to skip food . The food and wine takes far to long to cook. The tip jar its unfair us having to pay for it especially as we got to wait ages for the stuff to cook. Really is a good game I really love but is thinking about deleting.
